28/05/2026: Seriously, 25 euros for two pints? Highway robbery!

24/05/2026: The food was nice, but very limited; only fries were served as a side, no vegetables. On the other hand, the service was frankly mediocre. It was early in the season, the restaurant wasn't full, and we had to keep asking for our starters and desserts. Frankly, not very professional. The only positive point was the lakeside setting.

17/10/2025: The tents were basic, and since it was the end of the season, the food was limited. Clothes got damp. Drying facilities were limited to dryers, and there were no rooms. Wi-Fi was only available in the common room.

03/10/2025: We have visited every year in a campervan for more than 10 years and the campsite is consistently welcoming and good value for money. You can pick your own secluded pitch and the toilets, showers and washing up areas are clean but you need to bring your own toilet paper. Plenty of trees, red squirrels and birds. Often a large group of youngsters at the surf camp on site, but they are friendly and no trouble. The walk to the beach has been refurbished this year and it has injected a new lease of life into the area. The beach is gorgeous however, the sea is really not suitable for children with huge crashing waves, strong currents and a steep shelf.

01/04/2026: Need a laugh with your friends? Order now! We ordered 3 tacos and they were all disgusting, inedible. We've never eaten such bad tacos… huge disappointment. We called to ask if it was always like this, and the person on the phone was incredibly rude and laughing!! Is this an April Fool's joke? Sincerely

20/03/2026: Extremely disappointed. There was more dough than topping. I understand the cost of living is rising, but this is highway robbery. Plus, we were still hungry after finishing the pizza.

25/05/2026: I'm a regular at this usually very welcoming bar, but I'm surprised by the choice of this woman hired for the season; she doesn't smile and is very unfriendly.

14/09/2025: Run away!!! Endless wait! Pitiful service, manager offended when customers mention waiting 😄 the only positive point of this moment was to sympathize with the other tables since we were all in the same state of mind. Go your own way, except Etchebest if you pass by...

13/09/2025: Waited over an hour for a pizza. The fries were served cold, the mussels were mediocre to very mediocre, and the service was deplorable. I absolutely do not recommend it for an aperitif; wait an hour and everything arrives at once.

24/05/2026: I don't know about others, but we had pizzas one evening when we couldn't order one. We had a bit of a wait while we had an aperitif, but the atmosphere was good, the service was pleasant, and the pizzas were good, light in the best sense of the word. For that, I recommend it!

10/05/2026: Where to begin? The dishes were bland, the steak tartare was frozen, the Caesar salad (€18.50) was completely bare, and the mussels were overcooked with a tasteless sauce. To top off this mediocre meal, we witnessed the waiter napping on the bench in front of the restaurant! My thoughts are with the young waitress who is doing her best and is very friendly, while her colleague is glued to his phone.

17/02/2026: A very disappointing experience with this property management company. Lack of responsiveness, complicated communication, and inadequate follow-up on files. Despite several follow-ups, some issues remain unresolved. Having worked with numerous property management companies in the past, I can compare: the level of service falls short of expectations. I strongly recommend thoroughly researching and analyzing customer feedback before committing.

17/02/2026: As a long-time client of this property management company, I purchased a commercial property through them, currently own two properties under their management, and have also entrusted them with several business matters. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been disappointing. In the context of a sale that ultimately fell through, I was billed for a preliminary statement of account without any consideration for compensation, despite our existing relationship and the expenses already incurred. I understand that this service can be billed; my confusion stems primarily from the complete lack of consideration shown by the company in this situation. However, my concerns extend beyond this specific point. During the purchase of a commercial property through them, certain non-conformities were subsequently identified. I repeatedly proposed corrective measures at general meetings to rectify the situation, but these points were never addressed or put to a vote, leaving the matter without a concrete solution. More broadly, I'm now seeing longer processing times, less fluid communication, and a level of service that no longer matches what I was used to. I also regret a lack of openness to collaborating with other professionals, which can negatively impact certain cases and, ultimately, the clients. This is all the more unfortunate given that the relationship started off so well. I sincerely hope this feedback will encourage improvements in the follow-up and consideration given to co-owners.

31/05/2026: Just a heads-up not to book through the Google search results, as the restaurant isn't aware of them. Having traveled a long way, we were turned away by the owner this Sunday, who claimed the establishment was at the mercy of Google, that other potential customers were in the same unpleasant situation, and that she had no control over the listing.

05/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at L'Auberge de l'Abbaye this Easter Sunday. The traditional cuisine was delicious and the menu reasonably priced, all in a very pleasant setting. The welcome was warm and friendly. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. We will gladly return!

24/04/2026: Very cozy place in a beautiful location! It is, of course, no surprise that we happily return here every year!

21/04/2026: A wonderful little spot... sunshine ☀️ and relaxation... Facing the lake, perfect for a break of any length. From coffee to lunch and afternoon tea... Bread is available... also for campers staying at the campsite just a few meters away... I highly recommend booking in advance to be greeted by the smiles of Nicole, the owner, and her team... 👍😉😍
