22/08/2026: Passing through Mont-de-Marsan, we stopped at V and B somewhat by chance, as we were already familiar with the concept… and what a great find! The server was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and offered excellent advice, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time in a friendly atmosphere. 17/10/2026: I love it!! Honestly, I recommend the McDonald's in Biscarrosse. It has everything you need, the service is fast, nothing is forgotten, perfect.

11/10/2026: Hello, I apologize for using this public comment... After more than a dozen errors, perhaps this will finally be heard. McDonald's offers veggie wraps, and it's frustrating for a vegetarian to receive yet another order error, like a chicken wrap instead! This happened today at the drive-thru, as it has several other times. In the restaurant, it's exchanged without any problem, but at the drive-thru, it requires going back to the restaurant, and the rest of the food is cold, not to mention the wasted time, even though the drive-thru is supposed to save time: fast food! 😉 Since I've been waiting since August to be contacted about the same thing, I'm not bothering to leave my number today. To err is human, but it's a recurring problem for me. Could you please pay more attention to the preparation of the veggie wraps? Thank you for your understanding.

14/06/2026: Yes, but... This review, which is entirely my own, concerns a high-end establishment, or rather, an establishment that charges high prices, hence my reservations. I'm posting it for those who are lucky enough to have friends who will treat them to a 6-course tasting menu (without drinks) for a hefty 90 euros per person. We couldn't go whenever we wanted, but oh well... we went anyway. The weather was beautiful and warm, and we were in the (rather ordinary) outdoor courtyard of the restaurant with three other couples. Upon arrival, we were offered water—still or sparkling—so we ordered still water (which cost us 7 euros at the end of the meal). Then they brought us the wine list, or rather, the wine bible. I must say, we were a little taken aback by the almost endless selection of wines and their prices (about three to five times the price of a bottle). Anyway, we had a very ordinary 8-euro kir as an aperitif. Since we didn't want to pay between 8 and 18 euros for a glass of wine or 60 euros for an ordinary bottle, we ordered a 26-euro bottle from a well-known winemaker in Gascony whose wine sells for 7 euros in supermarkets. The dishes on the menu were beautifully presented and quite good, even very good (that's 15 euros each, though), but that's undeniable—it's the work of a chef. What really bothered us was that, with such a high-priced menu, we weren't offered an aperitif and wine pairings upfront. Quite frankly, the food was good, but it lacked that extra something, and I think the wine pairing was largely to blame, as was the disproportion between what should have been a memorable experience and the price.

06/06/2026: Brilliantly dog friendly, right on the lake and with an attractive pool area. We had slight communication problems in understanding the media pension menu but the food was good.

05/04/2026: A simple and practical hotel. It's located on the lake shore where there are various activities. We stayed in a quadruple room, with the bathroom, double bed, and terrace downstairs, and two single beds upstairs. Everything was perfectly adequate.

29/08/2026: The prices and quality are exactly what you'd expect from a small beachfront shop. The rating is mainly based on an unpleasant salesperson; not a single smile, which is a shame.

17/08/2026: One star for the location, the service is very unpleasant and the prices are high. Avoid it.

28/08/2026: I tried to order at a kiosk using my code. After 2 minutes, and after logging in, the kiosk displayed "I'm in burnout." I went to see the manager, who didn't care at all. I tried logging in at another kiosk, but it was impossible because my code was already in use. I went back to the manager, who still didn't care. So I wouldn't be able to collect or use my points, but I figured I'd take a receipt and ask for them later. At the other kiosk, the receipt didn't print at the end of my order—another problem… The manager didn't care and offered no help other than saying he couldn't do anything. What kind of manager is he? I don't think he even tried, to be honest. Too bad; I'll just stop at KFC next time.

28/08/2026: Paying extra for fries with cheddar and bacon and getting this! It's a disgrace considering the price of a meal these days!

03/10/2026: Still just as happy! From the welcome to the food and service, it's truly the best Asian restaurant in the area! I highly recommend it, but remember to book ahead because the good places fill up quickly 😉

10/09/2026: Disappointed. I used to come every year. This year I noticed a significant price increase and much less choice on the menu. I ordered pepper beef, but I couldn't eat it; it wasn't cooked, and the sauce was acidic. Very disappointed. It used to be a pleasure.

28/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The food was truly excellent, with flavorful, generous, and above all, very authentic dishes. You can tell the ingredients and recipes are prepared with care, and it's a real pleasure to find cuisine with such taste and character. The service was also very pleasant, with a warm and friendly welcome.

27/09/2026: Extremely disappointed... and that's an understatement! The welcome (the owner's humor was questionable, constantly saying "tomorrow" at the end of every sentence), the service (a one-hour wait only to not get the menu I ordered), the disappointing pig's trotters, greasy fries, and dry calf's head... Only the rice pudding was edible. Avoid at all costs!!

13/09/2026: We made a last-minute reservation at 9:00 AM for lunch... and yes, someone actually answered, which was a huge plus! The menu is extremely varied, with some lovely local specialties. The setting is truly magnificent, right on the lake, perfect for a relaxing time. The biggest area for improvement is the service. Trying to accommodate a large number of customers unfortunately takes its toll on the wait times: we arrived at 12:00 PM, received a soft drink at 12:30 PM, our starter at 1:30 PM, our main course at 2:30 PM, and dessert at 3:15 PM. It's really quite a long wait. On the other hand, the meal offers good value for money (€€), which partially compensates for the wait. Another small positive point: the bill was brought immediately after we asked for it, without another hour's wait. Despite the somewhat slow service, it won't stop us from going back. Next time, we'll plan a nice afternoon tea with the restaurant instead!

01/09/2026: We had read the reviews before going. There were many glowing ones, which is why we came. However, there were also negative comments, particularly about the slow service, which the owner harshly and arrogantly reprimanded. Our experience leads us to confirm that the service is subpar, with nonchalant staff and a long wait between courses (1 hour!!!). Even though we were offered an aperitif to compensate for this, it's inexcusable. As for the food, while not exceptional, it's perfectly acceptable for the price. And as for you, Mr. Owner, be careful what you say to me; watch your language and refrain from insults.

04/08/2026: This is our fourth summer at Remy's, and the wine advice is always excellent, with an unparalleled friendly atmosphere. It always feels like being at a wine fair with friends, enjoying a tasting! A must-visit in Lit-et-Mixe! 👌

19/05/2026: I am leaving a negative review regarding your establishment's communication. Several months ago, I sent an email requesting information about wines and beers for a wedding in July, but received no response. I also sent a message via Facebook, again with no response, and called several times, still no answer. This morning, after checking the opening hours on Google, which stated 10:00 AM, I went there in person. It was closed and opened at 5:30 PM. A wasted trip, especially considering I live 30 km away. It's incredibly frustrating, particularly with current gas prices. It would be helpful if you updated your online hours out of respect for your customers and, above all, responded to emails and phone calls. It's a shame because I've visited your establishment several times and found it very pleasant and welcoming. However, the inability to contact you is truly unpleasant and detracts from the overall experience.

22/09/2026: Unbeatable value for money and location. Fresh, local produce served in generous portions. Family atmosphere, very friendly staff, incredible location right on the beach. Direct bike access via the Velodysee, well worth the detour

14/09/2026: I hesitated to give my opinion on this pizzeria. There's only one negative point: the owner is very unpleasant and the welcome is poor. Luckily, the young waitress was excellent, smiling, and very friendly. Regarding the owner's comments about the customers, I think one day he'll get a plate from a customer. As for the pizzas, they're very good.

27/08/2026: We have been coming to this pizzeria for many years. It is very good value for money and eating in a UNESCO World Heritage Square is magnificent! I recommend it!
