The Welcome and Atmosphere As soon as you step through the door at 15 Avenue du Général de Gaulle, you're instantly transported to Italy. The welcome from Pietro and Corinne is both warm and genuine. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, and watching the pizzas being prepared right in front of you adds a real charm to the experience. The restaurant is pleasant, well-air-conditioned in the summer, and even has a small terrace. On the Plate: Quality and Generosity Lovers of authentic Italian-Sicilian cuisine will not be disappointed. The Pizzas: The dough is excellent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and carefully selected (a beautiful blend of products sourced directly from Italy and producers in the Lot-et-Garonne region). The Pasta: The portions are particularly generous (you'll need a good appetite to make it to dessert!). Everything is homemade with a genuine passion for flavor. Value for Money This is one of Casa Pietro's major strengths. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality offered. The lunch menu (main course + dessert + coffee) at around €17 is a real bargain. Bonus: the 10% discount on takeaway orders is very welcome after a long day at work. Practical Information to Keep in Mind Please note, however, that the restaurant is only open from Thursday to Saturday (lunch and dinner). The price of success and quality means the dining room fills up quickly, so I highly recommend booking your table in advance. The restaurant is also fully accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). In Conclusion Whether you're just passing through Villeneuve-sur-Lot or a regular in the area, Casa Pietro is a must-visit if you're looking for generous and authentic Italian cuisine. 14/11/2025: After an initial disappointment (due to a Mother's Day themed day where the wait was far too long), I decided to try this establishment again. Result: decent food, a simple salad bar, and soups on offer. Main courses: limited choices, but I arrived rather late. The dishes were very simple but not bad. The fish lasagna was quite good, but not at all presentable. For dessert, the custard tart was a custard tart in name only (really not good!). I also advise against the pitcher of white wine: a gut-wrenching, sour wine! The price remains reasonable, and the service was quite pleasant. Verdict: if you're looking for a filling meal, no problem! However, if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, look elsewhere.

12/03/2026: A chance discovery on our holiday road trip, we stumbled upon this place and I highly recommend it! 😍 It has a wonderful energy, a cozy atmosphere, and Nathanaëlle was so courteous and welcoming – thank you! 11/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at Ferme Couderc at the end of summer, enjoying one of the themed evenings hosted by Antoine and Stéphanie. We went on a Tuesday for the tapas evening. A beautiful platter was served, featuring a Norman specialty. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for this friendly and relaxed experience.

01/09/2025: We give this cottage plenty of positive points: - Pets are welcome and well received - Single-story cottage, perfect for little ones, suitcases, etc. - Absolute peace and quiet and the view of the surrounding countryside from the large terrace - The decor isn't the best, but it's more than compensated for by the peace and quiet and the view - Cars are parked at the entrance, so children can move around safely - Gourmet meals and breakfasts And then there's the swimming pool, perfect for both children and adults, secure Very pleasant welcome, ready to help Just one small drawback: the lack of a washing machine in the large cottage.

30/03/2026: What a restaurant! The menu looks excellent, and the à la carte options hold some delightful surprises, such as the Mezinese burger with pan-seared foie gras and, to finish, superb and generous profiteroles, among other things. Thank you for this wonderful meal.

12/02/2026: A very charming little restaurant. From the outside, you wouldn't guess the interior is so inviting. The welcome was warm and friendly. We were served quickly. As for the food, we loved everything, except for the duck parmentier, but otherwise everything was delicious. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend!
