27/12/2025: A very pleasant evening; the food was delicious. I recommend it.

27/12/2025: I had a really excellent meal. It was truly delicious. The setting was pleasant and unpretentious. The owner, despite his somewhat gruff manner, is very friendly. I don't know many restaurants in Saumur that offer a complimentary glass of champagne at the end of the meal after you've paid the bill. I don't understand the overwhelmingly negative reviews. To dare to say it's not good, that it's frozen food, etc., etc... simply untrue. We arrived as a party of five and were warmly welcomed, as were all the other customers who arrived later. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed every course, and our plates were returned empty to the kitchen.

22/08/2026: The starter: the maki rolls were rubbery and the cabbage was served with mayonnaise. There were very few main courses. The cafeteria food is better than their meals. Even the fries were cold. The dessert: the coconut ball looked good but tasted terrible. This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. I strongly advise against going there, especially since the price is far too high for the quality. It's shameful! It's the first time I haven't been able to eat what's on my plate!!!

07/08/2026: What a disappointment! I didn't want to believe the reviews in a shopping center that looks like it belongs on an atoll! We had serious doubts when we sat down at our table. The waiter was friendly and just told us his life story. The floor was sticky. The order-setting and clearing cart was disgusting. The two display cases—the sushi one at 11.6°C and the dessert one at 11°C—were both freezing! 😱😱😱 The ice cream display case was completely unappetizing. It completely put me off eating. The conveyor belt wasn't working, but that's okay. There weren't enough tongs for serving. If anyone is allergic to eggs or anything else, don't go there!!! Luckily, we didn't get sick!

06/05/2026: I don't recommend it... I ordered takeout, and when I got home, surprise! Nothing was as ordered... I ordered spaghetti with pesto and ended up with salmon, and besides, I don't like fish... it was way too peppery... inedible... for pasta, it's expensive when they make a mistake. That's my experience from lunch today.

17/02/2026: I was craving pasta for lunch, so I gave in to temptation. The ingredients seemed to be of good quality, BUT the normal portion was barely full, and the pesto verde lacked flavor. Where were the pine nuts? I'm still looking for them 👀, were they forgotten? The same goes for the Parmesan, apparently. The focaccia was good but expensive! Why give it half a star? Over €16 for an order, that hurts 😣 The service was pleasant. I won't be going back.

14/06/2026: Despite a previous review already mentioning nighttime disturbances, I had a terrible night. A refrigeration compressor, located directly opposite the rooms, kicks on every half hour. Furthermore, the interior soundproofing is inadequate: we could constantly hear the neighbors, which is seriously lacking in privacy. Unfortunately, it seems the hotel doesn't take customer feedback seriously. As for the service, the reception staff were frankly unfriendly. The only positive point was the breakfast, which was plentiful and decent. It's a shame the rest of the experience didn't live up to it.

11/07/2026: Perfect place to eat, excellent products, top-notch cuisine, more than affordable prices. I highly recommend it; I'd go much more often if I lived closer. 5/5, well deserved!

31/12/2025: The managers are completely disrespectful, and I see from the reviews that it's the same even for those who actually ate there... Instead of simply apologizing for not updating the opening hours (10 pm) for December 30th by allowing reservations for 9 pm, they treat people like dirt, brushing them off in an incredibly rude manner. When you've just driven 600 km to see your mother and little sister, and you arrive at 8:30 pm, counting on this "restaurant"—which was the only traditional French restaurant in the city center "open until 10 pm"—for a family meal, the least you can expect is to be greeted with a smile and a "Sorry, we closed the kitchen at 9 pm tonight..." rather than a "Uh... I'll check with my husband" and a "Yes??" "Without even a single 'hello' from the gentleman, and to top it off, a raised eyebrow that clearly said, 'Why are you bothering me at 9 pm?' I mean, I don't know, what do you think people come to a restaurant for at 9 pm? A game of bowling? Luckily for our evening, we found it much more pleasant, certainly better, and of a higher standard than the property of these pathetic people."

30/12/2025: We arrived at 1 p.m., not even a hello, just a rude "We're full!" Please continue to ban this restaurant so they at least learn some manners and courtesy.

02/08/2026: It's not for nothing that this is the highest-rated nightclub in Angers; the staff are unpleasant and the club is awful.

01/08/2026: I don't give a damn, I'm going to speak French. The bouncers only let you in under two conditions: Either you're white or you have girls around you. They don't give a damn if you're willing to pay triple the price or buy drinks inside. If you're white, completely wasted, and walking crookedly, you get in. If you're dressed like you're going to a sleepover, you get in. But the bouncers are Black, let's speak French. They look at you for NO REASON and turn you away. Same for La Chapelle. Seriously the worst club in the world.

02/08/2026: August 2nd, 6:15 PM The cashiers mixed up my takeout bag and gave me a drink that wasn't meant for me. They practically yelled at us for taking someone else's drink, even though they put two drinks with different names in my bag. Completely unprofessional. This employee needs immediate disciplinary action and reprimand. Avoid Starbucks. They offered no compensation for their mistake other than accusations.
