23/09/2024: Passing through this city, disappointing welcome from the boss who only takes care of his regulars, discusses car prices and does not even bring you the carafe of water requested several times...we left without dessert, disgusted by this atmosphere.

30/08/2024: Stay 2 nights - room 5 Excellent stay in the hotel Hearty breakfast, impeccable dinner on site (and super good!) I took this hotel for the decor (room and bar/restaurant) and it is super beautiful, welcoming and cozy Very well placed too The room is beautiful, spacious, it's clean (special mention for the toilets separate from the shower room) The staff is very friendly and available Parking space easily found not far away You really have to be difficult not to love

18/08/2024: Je ne peux que recommander l'agneau preé salé. Ce plat est excellent! L'accueil est correct et le service adéquat. Nous avons facilement réservé par internet. Le restaurant est facile à trouver.

16/11/2024: Quand ont rentre a l intérieur, il resemble plus a un café press, mais la gentillesse du patron et du personnels vous enlèvent tout de suite cette image. Restaurant simple mais efficace,pas de chichi ou autre, patron present et super sympat, serveur top. Nous etions 4, moule du jour, viande et jambon braisé top, salade gourmande, et que dire des frites..... merci cuistot elles sont fraiche et cuite a la perfection 👍 Et le prix, 150€ a 4 aperocet deux bouteilles de rosé. Donc excellent qualité prix 👍👍 une bonne soirée et un excellent repas après 4h de route. Tout simplement merci

20/10/2024: Pour un déjeuner entre amis le dimanche midi, c'est un bonne table. Le personnel prend soin de ses clients. Le rapport qualité/prix est raisonnable.

08/09/2024: Un lieu ou il fait bon de s'arrêter ! Un très bon accueil , une très bonne table , une très bonne chambre ,un bon rapport qualité/prix que demander de plus ? Du personnel à votre écoute ,et une patronne qui à beaucoup d'humour ce qui n'est pas du superflu de nos jours ! Je recommande vivement cet établissement ! ça vaut vraiment la peine de s'y arrêter ! 01/09/2024: Great meal. Pleasantly surprised that the waitress asked the next table if they wanted doggy bags. Normally we are rather embarrassed to ask but here it is directly offered. Very friendly welcome and service. And most importantly, the food is excellent and of very good quality. And the must, the chocolate mousse to die for! Thanks for the evening

01/09/2024: Always great food at a very reasonable price. We visit here as a couple and with extended family every time we are in France 4/5 times a year. Menu changes frequently, we have never left disappointed. Staff are very attentive and restaurant welcoming with a lovely fire in the winter months. Would recommend a visit, you will return.

31/08/2024: My wife and I have visited L'Abbaye several times during our vacation. To say we were made welcome (despite not having made a reservation) would be an understatement. From the standard of the food and presentation to the friendly professional helpful staff, it all helped to make our stay more memorable. A little personal recommendation. I never drink Guinness outside of Ireland, especially in France. On our first visit, the owner, Peter, said he had the best Guinness in France. Always up for a challenge, I said would test his claim. So I watched him pull the pint, from the initial pour, to letting it sit before the second pour, to the creamy head, to the temperature, and above all else, the taste. I can't honestly say that he lived up to his claim to having the best pint in France. For your friendship and welcome Thank you. Ger & Connie
