19/08/2026: The beef fillet was way too salty, one out of two toilets was blocked, the vegetable flan was full of water and the fries weren't salted, plus we were redirected several times to find a seat, and the gazebo kept banging, making an incessant and infernal noise, to top it off the exit door was closed without any explanation, I do not recommend.

18/08/2026: Just for 2 coffees: ultra-fast service, the young people who serve are smiling and attentive, price a little expensive but that's the price you pay for being close to Mont-Saint-Michel.

22/08/2026: On the menu of sweet crepes, they forgot to mention that the toasted almond and dark chocolate crepe was heavily soaked in alcohol and therefore disgusting! If I ever return to Cherbourg, I won't go back to their place, despite the waiter's friendliness.

19/08/2026: Ordered two espressos, what a surprise! It was filter coffee that had been reheated and reheated again… We didn't want to try anything else given the price of the so-called "espresso" at €3.30 each 😱😱😱 more expensive than in Paris! The table was dirty and there was an unpleasant smell inside. We didn't finish our coffee and left quickly. Avoid this place! What a shame… I definitely do not recommend this café.

10/08/2026: What a disappointment. The sandwiches are tiny; on the plus side, the bread is good. There's practically nothing to eat in the Caesar salad. 25 euros for two set menus and we were left wanting more. The service was very good.

05/08/2026: Convenient for a quick bite The establishment is well located opposite the hotels and allows for an efficient meal on the go. However, we found the prices rather high/too high considering the quality of the food offered. The number of seats is also quite limited, which can make it difficult to find a seat during peak hours. Overall, it remains a convenient option for a quick meal, but the value for money could be improved.

19/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS Zero stars if possible. The kebab was inedible: poorly prepared wheat, tasteless meat, and sauces that seemed expired. We got sick after the meal. On top of that, the prices are outrageous. When we complained, the owner became aggressive and rude, telling us not to come back. Fortunately, his daughter apologized and tried to smooth things over, promising to improve. I do not recommend this establishment.

31/07/2026: As a top-tier Google Guide, I highly recommend this place – it's a brilliant spot on the Cherbourg gastronomic map! We arrived here, exhausted after a long drive, just before closing, around 9:00 PM, and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptionally tasty, hot, and above all, perfectly fresh, which is not at all typical for buffets at this time of day. The salmon deserves a special mention – it was prepared perfectly, melting in your mouth. The sweets and desserts section also maintains a very high standard. The overall value for money was excellent – ​​a full set and an excellent selection of dishes for around 20 euros per person. The only minor downside was the Chinese beer, which wasn't quite to my taste, but the rest of the food completely compensated for that. Clean, efficient, and very tasty. Definitely worth stopping in for a hearty meal!

23/08/2026: Regarding this type of food, from all the places we've been, we'd give it a 7/10. But our experience was at lunch, and perhaps that lowers the score; in any case, we ate very well after a visit to Mont San Michele.

25/04/2026: Thoroughly terrible place to eat, for reasons below: The French fries were soggy, oily, and were clearly microwaved after being fried much before. The steak tartare was full of strong mustard and little else, there was no raw egg yolk (maybe it was mixed with the beef, but I really could not taste it). The ham and cheese baguette was ok. Service was very slow and completely un-courteous. The young boy clearly forgot my order and then went in to place it at least 10 minutes after ordering. For a fast-food place, it isn't cheap, either. I regret having gone there to eat.

11/08/2026: We had a very good meal. The duck breast with pommeau sauce was excellent! One small drawback: the mussels were cold. They should be served in a casserole dish to retain heat better. Friendly service. Nice view of the harbor.

15/08/2026: Very good bar, Petula is welcoming and always available. She'll even take your tobacco orders if you're a regular.

26/07/2026: The name of the tobacco shop, "Le Calvaire" (The Calvary), is truly fitting... They're just like the previous owners; they've all gotten together! Don't hesitate to walk right past them.

04/08/2026: Personally, I've been to all the McDonald's in the Manche region, between Avranches, Saint-Lô, Isigny... well, Coutances is much better, it's really quick to be served, the manager Leo is top-notch, super friendly with customers, since I've been going to this one I haven't found anything to complain about, keep it up, a top-notch team.

25/06/2026: You should only go to this restaurant if you speak French! The food was good, but they didn't make much of an effort to communicate, which was a real shame. For French standards, the restaurant was very inexpensive.
