24/01/2026: I've had lunch several times at this local institution; I've never been disappointed by the traditional, high-quality cuisine (special mention for the rice pudding), nor by the warm welcome and service. The value for money is more than reasonable.

24/11/2025: We came for lunch on Sunday the 23rd. It was good, but nothing amazing. I don't know if it was the eggs mayonnaise or the ribeye steak, but I've had stomach pains for almost two days now; it's unbearable. I think there's a problem with hygiene or the freshness of the food. I won't be going back.

25/02/2026: We ordered takeaway pizzas and were very disappointed. The crust was hard, the pizzas had very little topping, and they were far too salty! The salty taste lingers in your mouth. Avoid this place; you won't find a good pizza here! Spending €16.50 on a pizza like that? I'd rather buy it at the supermarket!

23/04/2026: Gas station sandwiches for a price you'd expect here: 8 euros for rubbery bread with chicken, vegetables, and cheese. The Italian panini is much better.

12/04/2026: I was honestly very disappointed with my experience at this café. The price of the croissant was completely wrong, which is unacceptable. But the worst part was the service: the waitress was unpleasant, with absolutely no sense of customer service, not a smile, not even a hint of politeness. You really feel like you're bothering them. It's a shame, because the place could be nice, but with service like that, it definitely doesn't make you want to come back.

15/11/2025: We tried to grab some food but the host was rude and looked to be a racist. He had a big smile with other guests speaking French but yelled at us. Trust there are other shops on this island loving to serve you even you cannot speak French.

11/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant but were very disappointed. It was absolutely not good value for money. In the "crêpe complète" (a type of savory crepe), the slice of ham was clearly the cheapest available, and the galettes were sparsely filled. The service needs improvement; the waiter, while bringing the plates, asked, "Who ordered what?"... (and I won't even mention the tone and nonchalance). There was a long wait. And to top it all off, there was no option to have coffee at the end of the meal ("We don't serve coffee," they said...).

28/02/2026: Food was made quickly, we got pizza that was burnt but the kind staff brought us right away different one without charging us anything in addition. The food was overall fine, but quite expensive which is expected in the tourist destination. The closest city is around 40 minutes by foot, so for us it was an okay choice.

28/02/2026: I came for lunch today with my family. To be honest, it was my first time eating at a restaurant on Mont Saint-Michel. The welcome was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was impeccable and quick. The quality was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. And I would like to sincerely thank the young woman who took a photo of my family and me. I will definitely be back.

14/05/2026: Terrible service! The menu was very expensive considering what was offered. There wasn't even water on the table. The ribeye steak was overcooked, and the sauces and side dishes were served in small cardboard bowls. No one came to ask at the end of the meal if we wanted coffee or anything else. When it came time to pay, the owner took our money in two seconds without even looking at us, no hello, no goodbye. A couple with children walked in at that moment, and the owner rudely called out to them: "Wait here, someone will come and seat you!" A disgrace! Absolutely no consideration for the customers.

14/05/2026: We chose this restaurant at random for a quick meal with a hungry child. Worse than anything. A €30 set menu for bagged salad that was already wilted, undercooked frozen fries, and a mass-produced apple pie that even supermarket apples could have. The Caesar salad had the equivalent of a sixth of a tomato, slimy bagged chicken, all swimming in a tasteless Caesar dressing so overpowering it made the whole thing inedible. And the final course: carbonara that defies description, so mediocre. Even the coffee was bad. An €8 glass of Burgundy that I suspect was some old, acidic plonk diluted with water! Avoid at all costs. A tourist trap like no other. We weren't expecting good home cooking, but never anything like this!
