01/12/2025: The welcome was awful. The owner came to take our order while complaining about his health problems. We ordered two drinks and two pizzas. The pizzas arrived after a half-hour wait, even though the restaurant was almost empty. And still no drinks! After insisting, they finally arrived. The pizzas were poor quality. The owner, drinking from behind the counter, came to clear the plates in a state of advanced drunkenness. He made misogynistic and offensive remarks because my wife hadn't finished her meal. Several customers, who arrived before and after us, left the restaurant without ordering anything.

20/10/2025: Just eaten the steak, and Gambas and have been totally satisfied. I eat big portions and these definatly filled the stomach. The staff are very proffesional and friendly and take there time with the customsrs to ensure satisfaction. Will be returning again.

18/08/2026: We hired Lion d'Or for our wedding reception and dinner. The service was flawlessly executed. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The team was efficient and helpful. Thank you again to you and your team!

07/07/2026: A generous and well-prepared dish made with good quality ingredients. We were impressed by the value for money. We will be back.

15/10/2026: Very friendly team, good quantity and quality... I recommend it... just one small issue: the Camembert sauce for the fondue doesn't have much character.

04/10/2026: I ordered: "AOP Roasted Camembert, creamy throughout, served with slices of ham, rosette sausage, Vire andouille sausage, country ham, salad, fries, and new potatoes." I received: "A cold, tasteless, pasteurized Camembert from the Simply brand, sold for less than €2 at Carrefour... accompanied by equally cold new potatoes."

09/09/2026: I had a set lunch there. The food was simple but very good, the service was quite fast despite the crowds, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I used to have a beer on the terrace there from time to time, but I'll definitely be back for a proper meal.

07/10/2026: I'm so sorry to give you only one star, but I'm very disappointed with your chocolate entremet. I've been ordering this cake for several years now. It's not the same cake as before, and what a shame. The tonka bean has been replaced with buckwheat groats, and inside, a thick layer of dry sponge cake, as seen in the photo (it makes up almost half the cake), has replaced the praline crunch that used to be there. I understand that the cost of raw materials has increased, but this cake simply cannot be considered the same price as before. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration and perhaps revise your recipe. Personally, I won't be buying it again.

09/06/2026: I've been staying in hotels every day for nine years and I've never seen anything like it. The room wasn't clean, the walls were stained everywhere, the towel warmer was rusty, and the light fixture was hanging off the ceiling. I arrived at 6:30 PM and waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came. Even when you're first in the breakfast room, there are crumbs on the table that must have been there the day before. Paying €128 for a night's stay for this is a disgrace.

10/08/2026: A bit disappointing, the quality has deteriorated. It's not being renewed.

02/09/2026: We stopped by Café du Normandy and drank two drinks from the very friendly owners, remembering the Easy company.

07/08/2026: For a mint diabolo and a shandy, it would be good to check the lemonades, the flat shandy, and the diabolo without bubbles.

08/09/2026: Unpleasant staff and service that needs improvement; at 10:35 PM they no longer serve a simple Happy Meal even though they're supposed to close to the public at 11 PM! I think the manager must be okay with losing revenue and customers!

06/09/2026: Getting worse and worse, always cold, always having to ask for hot hamburgers again, something's always missing, ground beef with holes in it, burgers slapped together, and very expensive.

09/10/2026: Where have all the customers gone? It's been empty for a while now… the purchasing priorities have changed and it shows! There's no quality anymore, and it's very mediocre and not good. It reminds me of the school cafeteria, lots of pre-made food… what a shame, it used to be so good…

01/08/2026: Pizza is great! Its owned by one guy and he does everything by himself, he serves, cooks and awnsers the phone, he is really friendly and the food is cheap and good.

08/05/2026: The restaurant is good 🧑‍🍳, but the cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired. I noticed a clear lack of cleanliness 🧽, which is quite disappointing for a stay. 👎 The quality of the accommodation is not up to par. 😞
