26/04/2026: A terrible experience. Staff rude, jaded by tourism. Forced to eat the children or we had to leave! 50 euros for a fried egg! Monstrous as well, taste nowhere to be found. Tourist trap!

25/04/2026: We were there as a family and loved staying at L'Ermitage. The family room overlooked the bay on one side and the abbey on the other. It was very quiet, the room was well soundproofed, and the bedding was comfortable. The location is excellent, and it's so pleasant to enjoy Mont Saint-Michel in the evening and morning when there are very few people. Breakfast was also very good (at the Auberge de la Mère Poulard).

Very thin-crust pizzas, quality ingredients, homemade by an Italian—the best pizzas in Cherbourg in my opinion, and they rival the best Italian pizzas (and that's coming from a steward who travels to Italy often). Be sure to order in advance to guarantee a specific time for pickup without waiting.

19/03/2026: My first experience at Théo Grill was a great success. It's a friendly, unpretentious place. I had a ribeye steak that was incredibly tender, with a delicious wood-fired flavor—it's grilled in the fireplace in the dining room. I commend the chef who cooked it exactly as I requested. I recommend this place if you like simple, welcoming restaurants where the food is excellent. The decor is a bit dated, but it has a pleasant atmosphere.

The service, meanwhile, borders on perfection. Attentive without being intrusive, professional yet warm, it accompanies the meal with rare fluidity. The setting adds to the magic: a pleasant, elegant space where you immediately feel at ease. In short, Édulis offers a gastronomic experience that clearly deserves to be recognized at the highest level. A Michelin star would be only fair for an establishment of such quality.

20/03/2026: A wonderful experience. The servers were attentive. All the dishes were delicious, refined, and sophisticated. It was the first time I'd ever had Jerusalem artichoke for dessert, and the pairings were excellent. We will gladly return to this restaurant and believe it deserves a Michelin star, especially compared to other starred establishments in the region.

12/05/2026: Upon hearing the news that the Michelin Guide had awarded its restaurant a Bib Gourmand for 2026, we simply had to return to the Hotel des Isles! Delicious! And it's still just as incredible to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves.
