23/05/2026: On our way to our holiday destination, we were looking for a brasserie, and what a great idea it was to stop here! A REAL TREAT! The exterior isn't much to look at, but the food is excellent, the decor is unique, and the servers are professional. We loved our meal here and will definitely be back if we're ever in the area. 04/05/2026: I only had one drink while passing by on a hike. The drinks were very reasonably priced. The owner could use a smile... What a shame. I liked the style of the place.

02/05/2026: It was by chance, on our way back from a walk, that we discovered L’Escale. We had lunch there as a family and discovered a small but perfectly executed menu, offering fresh, high-quality products. A little gem tucked away in the village of Fermanville, well worth a visit! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the sunny terrace is very inviting.

12/06/2026: Here you can find savory crêpes, made with buckwheat flour like galettes. The daily specials menu, which is explained at your table, offers two suggested fillings. However, you can also create your own. We followed the chef's suggestion and weren't disappointed. The crêpes were inventively composed, generous, and very tasty. The sweet crêpes for dessert were also excellent. A definite recommendation for visitors to Valogne. Reservations are recommended. Finally, the charming details of the decor deserve a special mention, creating a welcoming atmosphere and making the visit even more enjoyable.

29/05/2026: I arrived here yesterday evening just after 8 pm. Despite the somewhat late hour, there were still quite a few free spots in the spacious car park. Very friendly service at the bar and in the restaurant, had a good meal for a reasonable price. Toilets and showers very clean. If I am ever in the area again, I will stop by again. Top spot.

25/05/2026: Family lunch, long wait to get the menus (we went there to get them) and then to get the main course and dessert even though the restaurant was almost empty… We ordered filet mignon skewers but beef skewers arrived instead, after asking what they were we were told that they were beef, the error was corrected when paying because there was a €5 difference between the dish ordered and the dish served. At dessert time, the coconut ice cream didn't taste like coconut. After tasting everyone, we pointed this out to the waitress, who told us it was homemade ice cream. We explained that it had a sharp, unsettling taste, but she stood by her position. I finally lost patience and asked her to replace the scoop, since we do know what coconut tastes like... She eventually made the switch. The welcome, friendliness, and service all need improvement. When it came time to pay, we could tell we'd annoyed the staff. The food was good, but we regret our visit for the reasons mentioned.

24/05/2026: We ate at this lovely restaurant on a Sunday. The dishes and desserts were delicious, no complaints whatsoever. We arrived at the same time as a large wave of tourists, so there was a bit of a wait.

25/05/2026: A restaurant for grilled meat lovers. The beef, lamb chops, and pork are excellent. It's worth noting that the wood-fired grilling is perfectly executed and the ribeye steak is of very high quality. The dining room is rather small and not suitable for tables of more than 10 people. The service, however, could be improved, particularly with dessert, which was served in a school cafeteria style – a shame, but something that could be improved!

26/05/2026: [2026] We did it! The restaurant was open all week during Pentecost. Our first attempt on Pentecost Sunday failed (it was full), so we tried again on Tuesday at lunchtime and got a table. The staff is super friendly and the food is simply delicious. Mussels with fries and a galette with a sausage grilled over a wood fire by the fireplace. We were thrilled. Only water and lemonade were available to drink, but there is also a selection of wine and beer. [2024] Unfortunately, only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

28/06/2026: Lunch on the terrace with a magnificent view of the beach, perfect sunshine and a gentle breeze. John Dory, a fish that's becoming increasingly rare on the menu, served with delicious vegetables including samphire, fresh ingredients throughout, right down to the well-balanced, lightly sweetened, and flavorful dessert. Undeniable value for money. Impeccable and professional service. Thank you to the team. We were delighted to discover you.
