The desserts were also very good. To those who complain about the limited menu: I see it as a sign of quality, and there's still plenty of choice. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the decor was lovely. The best restaurant I've been to in Pau. Thank you!

As I am allergic to seafood, the team was extremely attentive and professional: they gave me excellent advice and took great care of every detail to ensure I felt safe and completely at ease. My partner was able to enjoy the seafood and was delighted. The duck breast, recommended by the restaurant, was exceptional: flavor, texture, and presentation worthy of a fine dining establishment. And the desserts… wordsless, a true delight. It was my first visit to this restaurant, but certainly not the last. Both the set menus and the à la carte options are excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients and delicately prepared cuisine. 15/01/2026: We ate very well, the portions were reasonable, however, the new menu was not displayed or updated online at the time of our visit. After our first visit in 2022, when traditional dishes from the Pau region, such as chicken in a pot and garbure, were offered, the menu has since been reduced due to a change in the kitchen, which no longer serves these dishes but rather Asian-inspired cuisine, which detracts from the restaurant's character.

It has a classic French brasserie atmosphere 😊 Whether with colleagues or family, we're never disappointed, whether it's the food, the ambiance, or the professionalism of the servers. The brasserie atmosphere is very friendly, and the menu is extensive. The dishes are simple but of excellent quality. There's something for every budget, and it's very reasonably priced considering the generous portions—everything is homemade! You can book online and specify your reservation preferences. I highly recommend this café/restaurant 🤗

24/01/2026: Very interesting wine bar / shop, with very good limited daily menu. As befits the name the food was unusual, but tasty and good value. Quirky decor, but great atmosphere and good service

31/01/2026: It's more of a gourmet experience. Expensive for dishes that are beautiful and tasty, but there are a lot of "buts." The welcome was cold, the atmosphere cold; you even feel like you're being spied on. The dishes, when you walk into a so-called gourmet restaurant and pay €79 for the three-course meal, are disappointing. The pairings aren't up to par, and the aperitifs are served late, so you end up drinking your spritz with the hors d'oeuvres. It's too much of a struggle to find alternatives for allergies that were already mentioned when we made the reservation. And we're still waiting for our coffee, which must have been charged when we did the math back at the car... what a shame.

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't have the same experience as the previous reviewers. After a somewhat hesitant welcome, we waited an hour and fifteen minutes to be served. The dishes looked beautiful, but mine arrived cold while my wife's (scallops) was hot. After being taken to the kitchen, mine came back lukewarm, but my wife had already finished hers because they didn't take both dishes back. The rest of my meal followed the same pattern: lukewarm. After speaking with the waiter, it seemed they were overwhelmed. The wines were offered to us as a gesture of goodwill. The experience was ruined. We were staying three nights at the 5-star hotel and had planned to eat there in the evenings. The first night was a complete disaster, leading us to discover some good restaurants in the nearby town.
