20/04/2026: I love having lunch at this organic and local restaurant right next to the Melies cinema! It's original, delicious, and cooked fresh... and for film buffs, at lunchtime you can add a Melies cinema ticket for €4 to the daily menu. Fantastic!

01/04/2026: A real treat! A vegan restaurant, so vegetarian! The quality and freshness made me leave feeling satisfied. Perfect for inviting a meat-eater without feeling limited in terms of choice or quality.

10/07/2026: One of only 2 vegan restaurants in Pau. Nice relaxing atmosphere. The starter was interesting raw veg, hummus and strawberries. The tabbule main had quinoa,peaches and tiny little cubes of tofu. Really tasty. Had a walnut cake for dessert. Beautiful. Highly recommended if you don't like eating where dead animals are served.

04/07/2026: I don't come often... But whenever I can choose a restaurant, it's Grignote! We love its discreet location, the lovely natural decor, and Eva's friendly and discreet service. The dishes are as much a feast for the eyes as for the palate, and the unique monthly menu is always a hit! I'm a big fan of the "open-faced sandwiches of the moment" in every season, and I'm never disappointed, always delighted! And you can go for the desserts without hesitation; they're all to die for! So yes, it won't suit every palate... Forget superficial flavors and excessive sugar. Here, it's about rediscovering more natural food, without unnecessary flavor enhancers, and vegan to boot. It's not easy to achieve, and yet, Grignote does it brilliantly with seasonal ingredients! So, for those who enjoy culinary innovation, simplicity, and a warm, Nordic atmosphere, I highly recommend it! In any case, we'll be back, and more than once!

30/06/2026: I had heard many compliments about the Brasserie d'Orléans from colleagues. We had lunch there with other colleagues, and I must say that my impression has been mixed ever since. I ordered beef tartare with homemade fries. The tartare was very sinewy and served flattened across the entire plate, without any shape. In fact, I practically had to put half of it aside because of the sinew. It was very vinegary and spicy. The homemade fries were delicious, as was the homemade sauce. The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was absolutely divine, and the coffee was also very high quality. The champagne was served in a tiny glass, which was a bit surprising at first. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient in serving us and relaying any issues (with the tartare) to the chef.

22/05/2026: A disappointing experience. During a period of intense heat, feeling unwell, I simply asked for a glass of water, which was refused with a haughty attitude. I found this lack of humanity regrettable, especially during a heatwave.

07/07/2026: Often very good; refined cuisine, pleasant decor and ambiance. Sometimes, like on certain evenings, the service is slow and the dishes a bit "light," the staff perhaps understaffed...but they remain pleasant and professional. Usually a restaurant in the Palais Beaumont, highly recommended.

Without a doubt, this is a place I will return to and recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine. Five stars!

06/06/2026: Following a group training course nearby, we had lunch here on June 4th and 5th. The welcome was very friendly, the service incredibly fast and attentive, and the food excellent. It was two truly enjoyable moments. Thank you to the management. It's a wonderful discovery (especially for someone like me who rarely returns to Pau...).

Constructive criticisms: the granola bowl could have been spicier, in my opinion. And the elderflower black tea could have been diluted a bit more; it was a little too strong.
