07/07/2025: Genuinely some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The food was almost pure fat and was very expensive. Was a very memorable meal for all the wrong reasons. Food took a long time to come (ordered the prefix menu). The service was extremely snobby and didn’t speak english. Somehow they couldn’t understand the google translate to french either and brought a well done piece of lamb when I asked for medium rare. Surprised they would let a dish like that leave the kitchen - don’t let the pictures fool you! Given the reputation of food in Lyon this was more than a disappointment and I’d go as far to say it was an embarrassment to the city. The only way it could have been worse is if I got food poisoned but thats impossible because nothing edible was served!

26/06/2025: It's impossible to miss its purple storefront, both elegant and unique, a foretaste of what awaits you inside. At Albert, the cuisine is refined, creative, and masterful, with dishes full of meaning and seasonality. The chef offers a personal and modern interpretation of the product, without ever overdoing it. An intimate atmosphere, attentive service, and true consistency from start to finish. A discreet gem in the 1st arrondissement... that fully deserves to be in the spotlight.

08/12/2025: A unique little spot, very popular on winter evenings in Lyon. A wide selection of beers and on-site production of liqueurs and spirits. Excellent cocktails. Board games are available upon request for fun evenings with friends. Various activities, including karaoke and sports broadcasts. Helpful staff.

13/11/2025: Homemade beers and infused rums! The perfect combo. They often have events, great bar :)

16/09/2024: We called on “Mon Lebanon” for our wedding. Everything was perfect: availability, responsiveness, good humor, professionalism, and the same for the buffet: it was beautiful and good! Everyone loved it! To summarize: it was perfect, we highly recommend :)

18/01/2026: Absolutely delicious!!! It had been ages since I'd had such a good kebab galette!!! The fries were piping hot, just the way I like them!!!! A huge thank you!!! I'll definitely be back because dessert was on the house, however, since I was too full, I took it home to enjoy later. ☺️

11/12/2024: Small restaurant with real Italians, the pizzas are cooked with fresh produce, I recommend the pink fine prosecco as an aperitif - alternative to spritz - very well served. Address to be widely recommended.

23/09/2024: On our return trip from Provence, we spent two days in Lyon. This is where we came across Le Bœuf d’Argent by chance. In the evening, only menus are offered. The service was very friendly, and our questions were answered expertly. The wine list is huge, but help is available. The food was incredible, very refined, and every dish surprised us. A special experience was the appetizer before dessert, designed to cleanse our taste buds. Then the chef, an Italian lady, came to ask our opinion – simply excellent. It’s a slightly higher price range, but an absolute favorite to add a special touch to your visit to Lyon.

24/01/2026: Honestly, incredible food! The pâté en croûte is delicious and the pulled beef burger is just perfect! The team that took care of us was fantastic, honestly, go for it! We'll definitely be back!

16/01/2026: We have enjoyed Le Book-Lard many times and love it's charm as much as we love their food. The food is hearty, fresh, and delicious. The ambiance is whimsical, fun and comfortable. Highly recommend for a casual dinner or lunch!

20/09/2024: It's only been a few hours since we were on vacation and our first stop in the city of Clermont-Ferrand will remain in our memory! A restaurant we like: kindness of the team, generosity of dishes made in Auvergne! A real French restaurant! A big thank you to Chef Seb for this tasting. Hats off to the whole team, we will be back.

17/01/2026: Without a doubt, the best authentic Japanese restaurant. The owner is as lovely as she is attentive, the dining room is spacious and calm, and the cuisine is inventive and very fresh (the tempura is incredibly crispy). The drinks menu is extensive (at reasonable prices). Undoubtedly one of the best places in the neighborhood (especially compared to the other, rather uninteresting Japanese restaurant on Rue Duguesclin!).

12/03/2025: Random passage and very surprised Great welcome, very nice card and excellent product. I had a pizza and it was honestly very good and plentiful. I have seen meat dishes and desserts past and they are very well served and very reasonably priced in relation to the quality and quantity. The boss says hello to you as if you were a regular and makes you feel welcome as if it were family. Thanks again. To do again very quickly. Thanks for that. To your team. 🙏👍

21/09/2024: While visiting Avignon, we (fortunately!!) came across this address. What happiness! Superb pizzas, a real tiramisu for dessert, an Italian lemonade. A piece of Italy in Provence. Not a lot of seats, remember to book
