Wehappened upon this spot and were very pleased that the lady gave us good food and service with a smile! We had a DELICIOUS spinach and goat cheese quiche with a strawberry tartlet for dessert! Yummy and just what we needed!

16/08/2026: We weren't familiar with this caterer. The waiter (who was there around 6:30 pm on August 15th) gave us a very pleasant welcome and told us about Monsieur Pignol's story. He also went out of his way to prepare a bag of ice for us. We enjoyed the chicken burger and the Lyon salad (both made with high-quality ingredients). The tiramisu and lemon meringue tart were excellent desserts. Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

A team-based, competitive puzzle to solve on the slopes of Croix-Rousse, followed by a tasting. It's easy to get caught up in the game, but fair play is key! 😁 A private evening with platters of crudités, charcuterie, cheeses, and drinks. Generous portions and a warm welcome. 🤗

24/06/2026: I had a truly wonderful time rediscovering Lyon thanks to Dorian, a super friendly and engaging guide. He brought moments from Lyon's history to life in a very vivid and even poetic way, with a moving reading of a poem by the Resistance fighter René Leynaud, and through issues of "Les Rues de Lyon" (The Streets of Lyon) and truly captivating comics from "L'Épicerie Séquentielle" (The Sequential Grocery). Two of his illustrators sketched the area during the tour and shared many interesting anecdotes with us—particularly about the history of the Canuts (silk weavers). They very kindly signed their artwork once we arrived at the restaurant "Le Bar des Guides Repères," a truly welcoming place that I highly recommend! Thank you for this wonderful experience! I'll be back for a tour of the streets of Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon) and to revisit the history of the Canuts on the workers' hill ;) And also to grab a bite at your lovely restaurant, whose cooperative principle I appreciate and share! 21/09/2026: I received a wonderful welcome; the staff were warm and friendly. What's more, my three-course meal (starter, main, dessert, and drink) came to just 30 euros, which is very reasonable considering the quality of the food! The duck breast was cooked perfectly, and the chocolate mousse is definitely one of my all-time favorites!

20/07/2026: The welcome was warm, but I was disappointed by the pizza. Part of it was raw. The price was excessive: 16 euros for a ham and mushroom pizza. I didn't find the familiar Italian flavors. It wasn't a favorite.
