Les meilleurs restaurants en Lyon

10/03/2026: This is our second visit to this beautiful restaurant, because it takes two visits to truly know if you like a place, even if you were initially captivated. We had previously eaten at a restaurant recommended to us in the hills above the city. Yes, the view is beautiful, and yes, it has three floors with three different atmospheres, but the three of us—my husband, my son, and I—love refined, reimagined regional cuisine. Well, we didn't find that in the very expensive restaurant up there, no! We found it to be exactly what we were looking for: a place firmly rooted in its stone walls and vaulted ceilings, with antique paintings on the walls and stained-glass windows. And above all, it offers exceptional and excellent cuisine, prepared and served by people who know their craft and are proud of it! We'll go back every time we visit our son, and catching glimpses of the owner in the corridors of French theaters thanks to my job will be our "pilgrimage" 😅😅😅 And a good reason to stop by Lyon… 💗

20/03/2026: I ordered a pizza by phone around noon and it was ready in 10 minutes! Excellent pizza, it was the Vulcano, incredible! My boyfriend and I ate the whole thing, I'll be back!

There's real passion in this kitchen! 🙂 Generous portions at a reasonable price. Special mention for the perfectly lemony hummus! 😋 I highly recommend this place!

24/01/2026: Dinner and atmosphere were perfect. The homemade terrine was to die for, the pork cheek with its magnificent mashed potatoes, all served in a relaxed, homey atmosphere. 21/03/2026: Delicious coffee roasted in-house! Plus, the owner is incredibly friendly and told us a lot about his coffee and how it's made. All in all, a very authentic little shop :)

18/03/2026: It was good, but served too quickly, so it got cold very fast. And invest in tables that are wheelchair accessible; I had to eat 3 kilometers away from my table. And don't forget to install a ramp for access to the restaurant.

08/03/2026: A must-try for those wanting to sample Chinese cuisine. The dishes are well-prepared, the service attentive, but the prices are rather steep. The dining room is upstairs. The servers are busy, and the dishes are served quickly. We tried about ten dishes in total. The menu is extensive, offering a tour of China, and China boasts a very rich culinary heritage. The dumplings seem homemade and are delicious. The shredded pork pastry—a Xi'an specialty—was very good, but it's frequently sold out. The mapo tofu is quite good. We recommend the shredded duck.
