29/09/2025: A real favorite! ⭐️ The dishes are generous and most are under €20, which is truly appreciable and rare, especially in Lyon. The menu is varied, everything is tasty and well-prepared. As someone of Italian descent, I can say that you'll find the true tastes of Italy here! This is, in my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in Lyon. The service is impeccable: the waiters are warm, attentive, and fast. A little extra for the cocktails, which are excellent.

27/09/2025: An excellent experience! The dishes were delicious, well presented, and carefully prepared. A big shout-out to the manager for his welcome, professionalism, and attention to detail. You can really feel the passion behind each plate. I highly recommend this restaurant and will happily return!

03/01/2026: A really nice bar that's kept its original charm. No matcha oats here, no, but a proper, no-frills café crème that you can enjoy with a brioche or croissant you've brought from outside. You can also enjoy oysters at other times of the day. The owners are friendly. Everything you need for a perfect morning coffee 😊

01/12/2025: This review is solely for the business operation of the establishment, and not about the food or service. On the website, and on the restaurant’s Instagram profile page, it indicates that it is open 7 days a week from 6pm-11pm. However, today, December 1, 2025, I stood outside the bar at 6pm (and again at 7pm thinking they might have the hours of operation wrongly indicated online), and it was completely dark inside both times. I also tried calling, but to no avail. It is unacceptable to advertise that an establishment is open 7 days a week when it is not. Simply indicate the days that the place is closed online. I hope that is not a difficult task to do for the sister restaurant of a Michelin-starred restaurant. To prove this is all true, I have also enclosed the photos of my visit with the time stamp in this review.

22/02/2026: This is the first time I've ever posted a review, and I do so with regret. But our experience compels us to share our profound disappointment. We had lunch at 12:30 pm at Zucca restaurant, a place we chose in part because of its proximity to Salle 3000, where we had a show afterward. Upon arrival, several dishes were already sold out, despite the time. I therefore had to change my initial order and settle for a "prawn salad," but without prawns, as they were out of them, instead with chicken, all while keeping the same price of €23, described as a "large salad, main course size." The service proved particularly slow (approximately 25 minutes between each course). When my plate arrived: half a head of romaine lettuce, 5 cubes of mango, 3 small pieces of avocado, 3 slices of chicken, all smothered in cocktail sauce. A dish consisting of 90% salad leaves and dressing, a far cry from what was advertised. I immediately expressed my disappointment to the waitress, who herself admitted there was “not much on the plate” and went back to the kitchen to ask for more. I waited another 15 minutes… without ever seeing anyone again. The promised toppings never arrived. I ended up eating it, having no other option, but clearly disgusted. We nevertheless continued with desserts, after another interminable wait. Of the four ordered, only three were served: the last one had simply been forgotten. When it came time to pay (a bill of over €200), I calmly expressed our dissatisfaction to the manager. No one listened, no attempt to reconsider. The only gesture offered was a €3 discount, which simply meant my salad was priced the same as a €20 chicken salad. A symbolic gesture, but woefully inadequate given the overall experience. In short: multiple service disruptions, disorganized and slow service, dishes far below the advertised prices, and a complete lack of customer service. This is all the more regrettable given the abundance of restaurants in this neighborhood. We will not be returning, and hope this review will help other customers make informed choices.

26/02/2026: I've been a regular at L'Apostrophe for over 20 years, and it's always a pleasure to walk through the door. Today, it's Lucas, Jeannot's son, who has brilliantly taken over the reins. The welcome is typically Lyonnais: frank, authentic, and warm. There's a wonderful neighborhood atmosphere, the kind that's rare these days and that we love to find. Whether you're a long-time regular or just passing through, you'll feel right at home. A successful handover for a must-visit spot!

06/02/2026: Everything is perfect, the service, the food; a truly immersive experience for the duration of the meal. A particular favorite was the flambéed banana and the spring rolls, always so crispy. A true institution in the 6th arrondissement.

14/03/2026: Today, the woman who works Saturday mornings was very rude to me. I'm not French, and I tried to speak French to ask for the menu and to avoid being rude (since I was trying to speak French). She started yelling at me and mistreating me. People had to come and calm the situation and explain to her that I don't speak French. I made an effort to speak French, but she was still rude to me.

30/01/2026: A string of mediocrities. Table in a draft. Disorganized service. Amuse-bouche served before the ordered bottle of champagne. Presentation of the wrong bottle of wine, already opened! Presentation of the digestif trolley during the cheese course. Hot dish served cold. Manager nowhere to be seen. When it came time to pay the bill of over €1000, not a word of apology or a gesture of goodwill. In short, unworthy of their reputation. The service is more professional in some of the smaller restaurants in the area. Avoid at all costs!

06/01/2026: The food was excellent, the staff young and friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic. However, what bothered me somewhat was the smell of the glasses; the dishwasher smell was quite noticeable, especially when drinking a glass of water – that's unnecessary.

30/01/2026: I came for lunch yesterday; the welcome was lovely and the food delicious. However, what I found embarrassing was that the chef was constantly being reprimanded, and I could hear everything. But I will never forget the exceptional quality of the beef. I also regularly have my coffee there; I really enjoy it.
