29/09/2025: A real favorite! ⭐️ The dishes are generous and most are under €20, which is truly appreciable and rare, especially in Lyon. The menu is varied, everything is tasty and well-prepared. As someone of Italian descent, I can say that you'll find the true tastes of Italy here! This is, in my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in Lyon. The service is impeccable: the waiters are warm, attentive, and fast. A little extra for the cocktails, which are excellent.

27/09/2025: An excellent experience! The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with care. A big thank you to the manager for his warm welcome, professionalism, and attention to detail. You can truly taste the passion behind every plate. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

28/04/2026: A small but very pleasant restaurant, with a truffle fondue that's perhaps one of the best in Lyon. It's child-friendly and the service is very attentive.

23/04/2026: Two reservations cancelled, one at the last minute due to a supposed lack of cook and one for an undisclosed reason. This is starting to become a problem.

08/05/2026: We arrived at L’Horloge, were seated, and were seated. We were two friends. We took two or three minutes to choose our menu, then waited for the server… who never came. Meanwhile, another group that arrived 10 to 15 minutes after us was seated and served immediately, with their order taken without any problem. We were clearly visible, we looked at the servers several times and gestured, but were completely ignored. Frankly, it's hard not to think that our faces simply weren't suitable for this place. The feeling of disdain and exclusion was very clear. We were truly disappointed by this unacceptable behavior. We preferred to leave rather than continue waiting while being treated as if we didn't exist. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

27/04/2026: Very disappointed. We've been here several times, but the quality of the food and service has declined, especially considering the rather high bill! The pasta service was far too slow; the cook was overwhelmed, constantly reheating and reheating the pasta! It was slow and not ideal for either him or the customer. Too many burgers and club sandwiches! They do fill you up, but... Few vegetables, no antipasti. A serious lack of Italian cured meats and cheeses. The desserts were bland and mass-produced, not really Italian at all, except for the tiramisu, which was a disaster! No taste, no appeal whatsoever. Where has Italy gone? There were four of us, and we all had the same experience. We certainly won't be back because it's too expensive for products that no longer represent Italy, and there's been a real drop in quality. Customers ahead of us at the register were making the same comments... And to top it all off, three dirty mugs with coffee stains inside, and the dishes weren't even checked! Well done. Something to think about.

12/04/2026: A truly beautiful spot right in the heart of Place Lyautey, with a truly ideal location. As soon as the weather warms up, the kiosk opens and the place takes on a whole new dimension: a wonderful energy fills the air, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you want to linger. It's the perfect place to meet up, whether with friends at the end of the day for after-work drinks, in the middle of the afternoon to soak up the sun in the shaded and sunny spots, or simply to take a break in a pleasant setting. The cocktails are excellent, well-made, and accompanied by contemporary music that energizes the atmosphere and brightens the day. From 6 pm onwards, the small savory menu is a real bonus, with options to share… or not, depending on your mood. It perfectly complements the experience and allows you to extend the moment. The decor also deserves mention: the shades of blue, the tables, and the chairs evoke an almost Mediterranean aesthetic, with a touch reminiscent of the colors of the Yves Saint Laurent Palace in Marrakech. This immediately transports you and gives the place a real sense of escape. The abundance of greenery further enhances the soothing, relaxing, and visually pleasing setting. The young, friendly, and dynamic staff fully contributes to this pleasant atmosphere, with quick and efficient service. One small drawback, however, and it's important to point this out constructively: sometimes tables are not cleared or are even dirty upon arrival, which can slightly detract from the enjoyment and experience, especially in such a lovely place. A little more attention to this detail would make the establishment truly impeccable. Despite this, it remains a very fine Lyon address that we gladly return to as soon as the sun is shining.

However, the service doesn't live up to the location, with a tendency towards aggressive sales tactics when ordering, followed by a certain inattentiveness, which unfortunately overshadows the quality of the food.

The food combined interesting flavours and textures, the dishes were exquisitely presented, and the service was exceptional. I really can't fault anything. At this price point you want an amazing experience and it really delivered.

04/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! We went for lunch. A quiet restaurant with Peruvian/Latin music playing in the background. Impeccable service. A cloakroom for bike bags and jackets. A head waiter who presented the menu (our boarding pass to Peru!). New flavors. I understand that some might be a little disappointed with the dessert, but that's also part of discovering new cuisines. If you're expecting a Paris-Brest or tiramisu, this isn't the place. Before going, I thought some of the dishes in the photos looked a bit "kitsch," but once there, with the explanations, it made more sense. Actually, they're reproductions and little nods to Peruvian cuisine. In short, thank you for this culinary journey!

23/04/2026: Two stars, because it's not really a business... nor does it have the spirit of a business... maybe a restaurant... I won't have the chance to know... my experience... at lunchtime during my break at work... I tried several times to go and eat there at 12:00 sharp... closed... I tried once to order takeout... they simply don't do it... incomprehensible in this day and age... and it reinforces the common image of a business, restaurant owner or not... it's still a business... so two stars, three for the food without having tasted it, but to remain consistent and not be able to judge the food... there should be a fairer system and neutral reviews just for the customer experience, without penalizing those who haven't tried it.

09/04/2026: A nice mix of Chinese and Vietnamese specialties The owner/Server, who was running the place was incredible. The hardest working most organized server I’ve ever seen. She handled the whole dining room of 24 people impeccably she had Restaurant eyes in the back of her head. Being far from anything touristy, it’s no wonder the dining room was full of local folks, enjoying their lunch with their families and business colleagues. I got the impression it was rare for a non-French speaker like me to ever enter the place but definitely glad I did. Once again, an Asian restaurant in France, blows me away with their wine list, compared to the rest of Europe.

02/07/2025: I've been there countless times and never took the time to write a review... I love this restaurant. The pork ramen remains my favorite and I always had dessert since the prices remain affordable, it's generous and really nice, I recommend it!
