20/02/2026: The base price for a classic couscous is €6 (just vegetables and semolina, no meat), but you have to add extras, for example, €2.99 for a merguez sausage. Add 30 cents for cutlery and 15 cents for a paper napkin. Or you can choose a more elaborate couscous, but it's more expensive. That said, it's good homemade couscous.

09/12/2025: How to share our experience? It's complicated for a supposedly "premium" establishment. To begin with, parking access is reserved based on the price of your car... That's already a bad start. The place could use a refresh and a cleaning. There were clearly visible cobwebs on the knick-knacks. The service is subpar, certainly not what you'd expect from a supposedly premium establishment that offers Petrus, for example. We waited an hour between the appetizer and the main course. As for the food, it's nothing to write home about. This establishment is vastly overrated. The service also seems to differ between regulars and walk-ins. In the end, there's nothing particularly interesting about this restaurant unless you want a splitting headache after your meal from the noise. Not to mention the waiters arguing amongst themselves in front of the customers...

08/12/2025: I wanted to reserve a table at La Maison, but the welcome I received was very disappointing. The person on the phone was so unfriendly that it made me hesitate to come. A little courtesy would have been appreciated, especially for a first contact. It's a shame, because it gives a bad impression of the restaurant before you even set foot inside.

17/02/2026: Having friends visiting Lyon for the weekend, they couldn't leave without having tried a traditional Lyonnais bouchon. During our stroll, we stumbled upon Le Condé, which delighted us. With its calm and welcoming atmosphere, we had a very pleasant time and enjoyed a truly excellent meal! I highly recommend it.

The worst welcome I've ever had in a Lyon café: not a single smile, clearly indicating that we were bothering him because we'd only come for a drink and weren't profitable enough in his eyes (even though no one was queuing and there were empty tables – we hadn't taken anyone's seat). When we ordered, he announced the price without saying please, thank you, or even a glance – just "X euros!" When I asked for a napkin to clean the table, he told me he had to attend to the other customers and made it clear once again that I was inconveniencing him. I pointed out that I was a customer myself, even though I clearly hadn't spent enough money in his eyes to deserve that honorary title. He told me he agreed to serve us out of courtesy... Thank you for your kindness, sir, truly 🙏 I will certainly inform my customers, who are likely to be yours as well since they are in your area, about your excellent business sense, your welcoming nature, and your very pleasant smile. The only positive reviews are from his friends or long-time customers (I witnessed some preferential treatment 😉). But if you are a new customer, don't expect to be welcomed. I don't know what could have happened in this gentleman's life to make him so unpleasant, but I hope he finds peace because it's sad to do this job with this attitude.
