02/12/2025: I followed the reviews that promised an ideal place to work, and I wasted my time. There was only one power outlet in the entire café (already in use, of course), pop and rock music blasting, and exorbitant prices for a hard brownie and a bitter, bland matcha. It was my first and last time there. The staff were friendly, though.

27/11/2025: It's a shame. The place is welcoming, but the music is far too loud. I call that noise pollution! I asked them to turn the music down, but it seemed "impossible." A flimsy explanation. I won't be back.

14/01/2026: I bought two portions of osso buco from the Buongiorno deli just before Christmas, at €13.90 each. Unfortunately, I was disappointed: the meat was very dry, tough, and barely edible, with a noticeable lack of sauce, which is a shame for a dish that's supposed to be slow-cooked. The day before, I had osso buco at a restaurant right next door for €15, and the comparison was stark: melt-in-your-mouth meat, a generous sauce, and a delicious dish. For just a little more, the experience was nowhere near as good. It's a pity, because at that price, you expect much better from such an iconic dish.

15/02/2026: Mixed feelings about our Valentine's Day evening aboard the Hermès II (Bateaux Lyonnais) The cruise was unfortunately canceled at the last minute due to safety concerns related to bad weather. It's obviously a shame for an evening like this, even though we were assured of a refund. The boat is pleasant, nicely decorated with pink lighting, a few (fabric) rose petals, and small (also fabric) bouquets on the tables, adding a romantic touch. The welcome and service were warm and attentive throughout the evening. However, the Valentine's Day meal was a disappointment. The amuse-bouche was uninspired. The velouté served as a starter lacked flavor; several tables even asked for salt and pepper. The vol-au-vent was quite good (one to share). The main course—John Dory fillet, Beaujolais sauce velouté, sweet potato mousseline, and baby spinach—was decent, but not memorable, with little garnish. The dessert was rather disappointing and failed to provide a memorable ending to the meal. Another major drawback was the wine. We opted for the drinks package, but the quality fell far short of our expectations, and we both experienced heartburn. In short, the atmosphere and service were acceptable, but the food won't be remembered fondly.

13/02/2026: A terrible experience. We booked a cruise for my birthday, which was cancelled at the last minute because the boat wasn't running. Already very disappointing. We decided to give it another try for Valentine's Day... and again, the boat didn't sail and simply remained docked. No compensation whatsoever, despite the two disappointments. You book a cruise to go sailing, not to stay put! For the price paid, this is truly unacceptable. I do not recommend it!

28/05/2026: The Danish pub is the best pub in Lyon, especially for matches and for having a drink with friends!

26/04/2026: Nice all-you-can-eat restaurant with very good service, the food is good but not a lot of choice.

23/04/2026: Excellent all-you-can-eat buffet. Everything was delicious; I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. The price is very affordable at €20.90 on a Friday night.

26/06/2026: We ordered the wood-fired tacos, and were very disappointed. They tasted like they were pre-made; the fries inside were dry and tasted bad. They were supposed to have shakshuka, but there wasn't any, and they were burnt on top. First and last order!

24/06/2026: The taco was very dry, with almost no sauce. I had to drink several times to be able to eat it, and I almost choked. Very disappointing.

27/03/2026: I recently bought a pizza from this truck and was very disappointed. The price is quite high for a large pizza, especially considering the quality. The crust is extremely thin and there are very few toppings. It's really not good value for money. I don't recommend it.

07/12/2025: "Wow, what an amazing pizzeria! The crust is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the ingredients are fresh and delicious, and the service is warm and attentive. The pizza is cooked to perfection and the flavors are explosive! I'm completely won over. I highly recommend this pizzeria to all pizza lovers. Bravo and thank you for this delicious experience!"

02/05/2026: Superb! We were eagerly awaiting the reopening of Villa Florentine to discover the new chef's cuisine. We were delighted by the various dishes we enjoyed that evening. Thank you to the entire team! We will be back!

30/01/2026: A string of mediocrities. Table in a draft. Disorganized service. Amuse-bouche served before the ordered bottle of champagne. Presentation of the wrong bottle of wine, already opened! Presentation of the digestif trolley during the cheese course. Hot dish served cold. Manager nowhere to be seen. When it came time to pay the bill of over €1000, not a word of apology or a gesture of goodwill. In short, unworthy of their reputation. The service is more professional in some of the smaller restaurants in the area. Avoid at all costs!

29/05/2026: First time for me and a great discovery! I had lunch there today, it was really delicious. The place is cozy and pleasant, and the staff are very friendly. I'll gladly come back 😊

23/05/2026: 30-minute wait for 3 poke bowls to go. And on top of that, there was a mistake with the order—the ingredients were wrong, and we paid for a medium size but received a small instead! Seriously, they're terrible!!

Completely understaffed, one overwhelmed waiter for the entire dining room. The kitchen is taking it easy meanwhile. Way too hot inside. The food was okay, nothing special. We just wanted to leave...

13/09/2025: Unfortunately, Contre-Champ is not what it used to be. The chef has changed, and the experience is nothing like what you’ll see on Google or in older reviews. The food was disappointing, far below expectations, and the overall quality has dropped dramatically. To make matters worse, the poor waiter had to manage 11 tables completely on his own — service was understandably slow and chaotic, and it was painful to watch him struggle. What used to be a great place has become a real letdown. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal.

01/05/2026: A quick stop on May 1st after a hot afternoon in the Parc de la Tête d'Or. It's not always easy to work that day, so kudos to them! Lovely waitress and classic cold drinks.

08/12/2025: First time at this kebab shop with my friend this past Saturday at lunchtime. It looked very inviting and seemed pretty good at first. What a mistake... two days later we ended up with a terrible case of food poisoning. We couldn't get out of bed, had abdominal cramps from vomiting so much (I destroyed what I was using as a toilet), and were severely dehydrated, practically needing an ambulance. In short, avoid this place.

13/04/2026: Great experience! We made a mistake with our order (cheese sauce when we have an allergy) and the staff were incredibly understanding: they kindly remade the taco without any fuss, even though it was our mistake. Plus, it was delicious! 👍 I highly recommend it!

13/11/2025: Absolutely shameful. My son, who is diabetic, just wanted a little something sweet, and the snack bar employee refused, claiming he wasn't the owner. Seriously?! Do you need to be the owner to have a little compassion? No respect, no humanity. We're talking about a sick child, not a whim! I hope people read this review before spending a single penny there. Avoid this snack bar at all costs; zero conscience, zero compassion.

03/05/2026: Soup or cabbage for a starter, both very good. Then conveyor belt sushi or other unlimited options. Everything is good.

17/04/2026: We loved the concept and had a wonderful meal. The staff were very attentive to customers' needs. There was a good variety of dishes, and the portions were more than enough – we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
