11/08/2026: A restaurant with original decor where I had a pleasant time with a friend; we ate well, but the service seemed rather clumsy! (Perhaps the new servers are still finding their feet at the beginning of August.)

12/07/2026: We spent 3 nights in Lyon in June. My wife and both agreed that the Eggplant Parmesan from Assaggi was our best meal of this trip. We would like to come back to Lyon just to explore the menu here in more depth. This little take out was very near our AirBnb and our best culinary find in Lyon!

22/06/2026: We ordered a buffet of starters, the main course (lasagna), and a cheese platter for a reception of 30 people, and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!

24/07/2026: It's practically become my go-to spot! Great value for money, excellent homemade food. Very friendly staff. Even the takeaway is fantastic. I absolutely love it! Plus, it's super convenient for me since I work right across the street!

23/06/2026: We visited for dinner. The Flatbread pizza is Great! Inside the bathroom (innovative design) is a Transformational experience; Positively Energetic with an 8-9th Dimensional surprise(I swear I got glimpse of Dr. Who in the reflection, lol) and will become the talk of the table upon your return!!!!!!

21/05/2026: Nice concept. The pizzas are good, but there's no point in specifying that the meats are halal if you use the same gloves for both halal and pork. This also poses a problem for allergens.

14/02/2026: I found the place quite nice, not too noisy, with a limited menu, suggesting it was all homemade. The mushroom ravioli were very good. However, they say the quality of any place is measured by the state of its toilets, and here, it was a disaster: a strong smell of urine, dirty grout, and hardly any soap left. It's a shame; it was the only negative point.

16/05/2026: What a gem! We arrived late afternoon on a very busy Saturday and we were concerned we wouldn't find a place without a reservation. Thankfully, we came across this place and so glad we did. The food was so good and the place was so adorable! It was definitely a local vibe, not touristy or in a touristy area. We would definitely recommend this place!!

11/06/2026: This was an amazing evening. The food was incredible, and the host and the waitress were both extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. There was a slight mixup in the kitchen which led to my steak being served rare instead of medium, and everyone was very gracious, accommodating, and prompt when I asked for it to be cooked a little more. The steak itself (ribeye with bernaise) was amazing, as was the paris brest, and the salade Lyonnaise was the greatest salad I’ve had in my life by a significant margin. Thank you so much, I hope to come back again!

16/06/2026: So good, inexpensive, and the decor is really nice! We obviously chose the closest table, even though there was plenty of room everywhere, lol, it was so cute! Local beer, fresh ingredients, yum yum!! And I love the restaurant's name! ✊🏻

What truly made this café special was the incredible customer service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, dedicated, and genuinely cared about making every guest happy. They were even willing to customize drinks and food based on personal preferences, even if it wasn’t exactly listed on the menu. That level of flexibility and care is something you rarely find. The café itself was spotless. Every single table was perfectly clean without a single mark or crumb in sight. The indoor air conditioning made it a comfortable place to relax, especially on a warm day. The view is another highlight. From the café you can enjoy a beautiful view of a castle with the French flag proudly flying, creating a truly authentic French atmosphere. The interior design is stylish, modern, and full of French charm. One detail I especially loved was the creative artwork featuring the number “69”—a fun and memorable touch that fits Lyon perfectly. The location is also excellent. Right nearby there’s a casino if you’re in the mood for some entertainment after your coffee, as well as a clothing store if you’d like to do a bit of shopping. I would recommend this café to absolutely everyone—tourists, locals, families, friends, couples, and honestly anyone looking for a great place to relax. If cafés could be rated by every species, I’m sure even birds, rabbits, cows, and chameleons would give this place five stars. Overall, this café combines exceptional service, a beautiful atmosphere, immaculate cleanliness, stunning views, and an excellent location. Without a doubt, it’s one of the places I’ll make sure to visit again the next time I’m in Lyon
