01/08/2024: Cadre agréable au bord de la Grosne. Accueil chaleureux, personnel réactif et professionnel. Repas excellent et conseil avisé de la propriétaire pour le vin. Des plats travaillés et délicieux. La terrasse avec sa glycine doit être agréable quand il fait moins chaud. Tout était parfait, merci.

11/06/2024: Ein ganz ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Wir hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü. Die Speisen waren großartig und wurden durch zwei Grüße des Hauses komplettiert. Vorspeise: Sülze vom Hasen, Hauptspeise: Ente, Dessert: Schokokugel gefüllt mit Eis und frischen Früchten. Auf die Kugel wurde vom Kellner dann heiße Schokolade gegossen und die Kugel schmolz und gab den Blick auf das Eis und die Früchte frei - Sensationell! Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit Aussicht auf den kleinen Fluß durch Cluny. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Menü hat nur 40 Euro gekostet. Im Rheinland zahlt man für diese Qualität das doppelte. Also: Große Empfehlung und einen Umweg wert!

17/08/2024: Family birthday meal this Saturday, August 17. Friendly cuisine prepared with good products. Very pleasant and fast service despite the fifteen guests at our table. We come back with as much pleasure as ever. Well done to the chef!

14/03/2024: Parfait, la vendeuse est tres agreable, les demies baguettes sont tres peu cher grace a elle nous pouvons nous nourrir convenablement au lycee, tous les prix sont abordables. Nous avons aussi gouter des sandwichs qui sont parfaits.

20/09/2024: I have just ordered delivery by telephone and frankly just by listening you can sense the gentleman's good humor and that he speaks with a big smile. Very welcoming! I had already eaten there and I really liked the place but knowing that they are also friendly with delivery is really nice.

05/04/2026: We ate here during an overnight stay at the hotel. What was very unappealing was that the menu could only be viewed via QR code; we had to specifically retrieve our mobile phones from the room because we hadn't brought them with us. This seems very modern, but it really detracts from the atmosphere. Due to the lack of clarity on the mobile menu, it turned out we had ordered "incorrectly." As a result, the bill ended up being very high, which we only discovered when paying. The staff only spoke French, which made communication a bit more difficult, so it is a shame they couldn't point out this mistake to us sooner. The food was very tasty, though, so that made up for it somewhat.

21/08/2024: Unpleasant boss who doesn't give change, forced to ask for it, he hands over the €10 he owes me with bad grace without apologizing....and speaks badly to another customer.....unthinkable.

14/05/2024: Des mets carrément délicieux ! Le pavé de bœuf... Du beurre ! Tellement il était tendre ! La souris d'agneau sauce au thym...fondante et goutue !

12/11/2025: A short 4-day family stay in this very welcoming place, which feels more like a family home thanks to the incredibly kind manager. Admittedly, the upkeep isn't top-notch, Mr. and Mrs. Proute Proute, watch out! It's still very friendly, tidy, and clean; you just have to look at the nooks and crannies, but that's what makes this hotel so charming. You feel right at home thanks to the warm welcome, kindness, and generosity of the gentleman who runs the entire establishment (bar, tobacconist, and hotel) single-handedly. BRAVO SIR, I admire you!

30/12/2025: We came a little over a year ago and were warmly welcomed… But this time, it was a disaster! We even hesitated to sit down! We left without ordering dessert so as not to be a bother… I won't go into details because everything has already been said in other reviews 😌

12/08/2024: Alors expérience très décevante 20 minutes d'attente pour prendre l'apéritif et commande des plats 19,50€ pour des fritures dans un petit caquelon accompagné d'une dizaine pas plus pas de pain a table ma compagne 5 morceaux de poulets pas plus on s'en tire pour 61€ a payée ayant encore faim j'ai même du m'arrêter au mc do avant de rentré tellement la quantité était très très limitée a fuire vraiment c'est un conseil

27/10/2024: Brasserie parfaite avant la visite de l'abbaye. Le service est rapide. Les lasagnes végétariennes sont très bonnes. Le café gourmand est bien gourmand. Un sans faute !

07/09/2024: Accueil très agréable , les plats simples mais délicieux et royalement servis, juste monsieur le chef , une entrecôte n’est pas un faux filet surtout du mauvais côté !! Les profiteroles délicieuses également , service efficace et très à l’écoute changement sans aucuns problèmes du premier faux filet demandé saignant et beaucoup trop cuit . Excellent rapport qualité prix . Super pour une étape

27/08/2024: Très bon accueuil dans un cadre unique,dans les anciens souvenirs on s'y sent bien. Bon choix de produits et plats faits maison. Qualité prix intéressant, satisfaisant... Je conseille vivement de réserver avant.
