21/09/2024: Beautiful setting but big disappointment in terms of the hotel. Restaurant lacks professionalism, Firstly they place you on the terrace and 3/4 hours later still no one to offer you an aperitif So we decide to enter the restaurant. no appetizers with the aperitif. Not even a good appetite, sir, lady! Concerning the water for the meal, they don't even offer you bottled water directly from a carafe. Menu more than correct I even congratulate the chef.🧑‍🍳 coffee was not offered at the end of the meal. Too bad! Hotel oh my god! 2nd floors and they told you no elevator it's broken something I can understand! When taking the shower, there is no hot water in the evening and there is no hot water in the morning! And the answer is normal, there is no more gas!! No, but that’s the joke, right?? Comfort room plus at 130 euros per night anyway! Concerning breakfast, not knowing where to place you due to lack of organization! So we decide not to stay for breakfast. And luckily when I saw the face of the pain au chocolat! Honestly worth seeing again! Because I think that in this small village there is indeed an artisan baker? So why use frozen? The poor little receptionist who tries to meet all the needs of unhappy customers. Where is the boss?? Anyway, I don’t recommend this establishment at all 😡

20/08/2024: We ate at the restaurant (we were not at the hotel) and had main course and dessert. It was very good.

09/03/2026: The waitress, completely unfazed, came over to tell us, "I'll take the bread back; I don't have any more for the table that just arrived." Shameful... We were asked three times if our order had been taken. Wait time between ordering and receiving our meal: 20-25 minutes for a total of 30 covers in the restaurant. However, the youngest Asian waitress made a bit more of an effort. The shrimp skewer, though, was quite good.

10/02/2026: New ownership and new name: The 28th. Excellent regional menu. Well-cooked, beautifully presented, and with fast service. We'll be back...

29/12/2025: Location in a very beautiful setting, excellent welcome and comfortable and nicely arranged rooms.

24/09/2024: Cuisine excellente, service efficace et accueillant : une adresse à retenir. Petit bémol sur la déco un peu vieillotte mais c'est vraiment superflu par rapport au reste !

22/07/2024: Repas pris en terrasse très agréable. Les œufs en meurette étaient savoureux, de même que la fricassée de volaille de Bresse. Les pâtes au pistou ont été très appréciées aussi. Le Saint Veran et le Julienas étaient très bien et servis au verre. Bref nous avons passé un bon moment.

09/08/2026: We go there once or twice a month. The restaurant serves very pleasant, home-style cooking, and the owner and waitress are very friendly. You can eat in the veranda; it's family-style cuisine! It's delicious! On our last visit, they had calf's head, fried andouillettes, and for 16 euros for a starter, main course, and homemade dessert, it's fantastic!

08/08/2024: En vacances dans le coin, resto recommandé par nos hôtes. Un accueil au top ! Repas de très bonne qualité, et à prix abordable ! Grande terrasse ombragée très agréable. On recommande à notre tour 😊
