02/04/2026: Passing by after work around 4:15 PM, 3 people in the bakery I had to wait because they were chatting amongst themselves before serving me, and they weren't very friendly with the customers. I was really disappointed with the pastry (drop), which had a dry, off-flavored taste that definitely wasn't fresh. It seems to be exchanged between the two shops in Angles and La Tranche-sur-Mer.

30/03/2026: Excellent bread and beautiful pastries, possibility to eat in, very varied sandwiches, pizza, panini and other items, very friendly staff, prices not excessive.

07/01/2026: I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this was a bad experience. The restaurant is clearly geared towards tourists. I had my eye on a burger I really wanted before coming to the restaurant. Once there, surprise: they were out of it… Surprising for the first service of the evening, just before a long weekend. So I settled for another burger. The menu stated that no changes were possible for organizational reasons, which I understood. But being allergic to tomato, I simply asked for the tomato slice to be removed. After all, it's just part of the burger. The waitress consulted the chef and came back to tell me it wasn't possible. I explained that it wasn't a whim, but an allergy. The response I received was, and I quote: "The risk of the tomato coming into contact with the other elements of the burger is too high." I don't understand this, especially if everything is homemade and assembled to order. It was simply a matter of not adding a slice of tomato because of an allergy! Still annoyed, I finally opted for the lemongrass marinated chicken, which sounded promising on paper. After a long wait, I must say, my young nephew asked me, quite literally, "Why does your chicken look like a rock?" And indeed… A dry piece of chicken on one side, clearly mass-produced fries on the other. The chicken and lemongrass combination was okay, but the dish was definitely not worth its price of €16.90. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be going back and I don't recommend this restaurant.

29/10/2025: We were looking for a late-night restaurant, and the only ones who were willing to welcome us were the young, dynamic team. The dishes were well-presented and tasty.

23/03/2026: After Christmas, I came back for St. Patrick's Day...another wonderful day...the staff were very pleasant, welcoming, and smiling...don't change a thing!

23/03/2026: We knew Le Poucton for its generous portions and good food. What a disappointment in 2026 ☹️... A small glass of wine as a starter, cheese without butter, mini custards, and a mini coffee...where has this lovely Marais Poitevin inn gone, the one that was on TV a few months ago? Printed photos of tables/couples for sale at €10... 🤔 A tip box placed on each table at the end of the evening...😳🤔 Luckily, the Citadelle band was there to provide some atmosphere 👍.

08/02/2026: It's really frustrating to see shops closed when everything indicates they should be open. Here, they refused to serve us at 1:30 pm even though it says they serve until 2 pm.

28/01/2026: My family and I always receive a very warm welcome whenever we come. We're never disappointed with our meals. We're delighted to learn that we can also order pizzas there.

15/03/2026: I should have been wary of the seafood... I got sick immediately after the meal; the freshness of the products was clearly lacking! The cooks' attire also left much to be desired. There were very few options for an all-you-can-eat buffet, and the dishes weren't replenished regularly; there were very few maki rolls available, which is a real shame. At that price, it's truly disappointing; we certainly won't be back.

27/03/2026: Two completely unprofessional saleswomen who prioritized personal conversations over their work, offered a very late greeting, and, worst of all, criticized their colleagues in front of customers. It was extremely unpleasant and gave the store a very bad image.

24/02/2026: I ordered a chicken burger with sauce for takeaway delivery, but they put a chicken with mustard sauce in my bag, even though I am allergic. Luckily, I noticed before I had a reaction. This is unprofessional; you don't think about the consequences that a food allergy can have.

01/01/2026: I ate at this restaurant this summer. We arrived at 9 pm and didn't get a table until 9:30 pm, even though we had a reservation. We waited an hour and a half for five rather simple dishes. The cleanliness left much to be desired, as did the rather cold welcome from the servers. The burger itself was standard, neither good nor bad. The sauce was very bitter, and the fries were terrible—just crickets from the bottom of the fryer! I don't recommend it and wouldn't go back.
