05/12/2025: Returning from fishing on the Gois causeway, we stopped with our cousins. We had a very good meal, a pleasant welcome, and excellent staff. The €15 set menu was very reasonable, except for the meat, which was a bit pricey at €8.50 extra, which was a little expensive.

25/08/2025: Unpleasant person, a terrace with tables but without chairs, we were only 3 people and there were only 2 people in the restaurant, so how can we say that there were chairs and in number, but let's say there were 3 chairs outside, 2 of which were used by the waitress or the restaurant owner's wife and one in a corner, how can we say that for August 15th and after 3 hours of searching for food, 30 minutes of walking, to have such a welcome is incredible, I couldn't tell you the taste of their product, my partner ate but I didn't, out of the question to participate in such a money-making meal

22/08/2025: Sushi Order We're not hotel guests but ordered sushi tonight for the first time. Very friendly staff on the phone and at reception, very good sushi, and the chef even gave us a little extra and all the necessary side dishes (sauces, salad, chopsticks)! We'll definitely be back.

27/12/2025: Bakery with a good selection. I recommend the fruit and vegetable stand, which is there every summer; the quality and price are excellent.

21/10/2025: Artisanal products :):) The colors are there to show us that chemicals reign supreme at the Saint Gilles ice cream parlor. Having visited the ice cream parlors in Saint-Gilles and Croix-de-Vie (at least four) for years, I can assure you that there are significant differences between them, and the Saint Gilles ice cream parlor is far from being the best. Here, we don't get excited by the presentation of the products or the expertise of the ice cream parlor staff who describe their culinary world. It's immediately clear that the young people who sell their ice creams aren't trained, just good at serving. However, the viability of a retailer includes both the product and those little touches and genuine advice that make you want to buy, and which can be found elsewhere! There's one exercise where the owner (small and dark-haired), so as not to be suspected of malice, particularly shines! It's his aggressiveness towards his young employees, his seasonal workers, and by extension, his customers. This type of behavior is unacceptable today and the time of colonies and human exploitation is long gone!! I weigh my words carefully. All of this oozes hypocrisy and does not speak in your favor.

13/10/2025: Superb! Good ice cream with a lot of flavors, the saleswoman was very friendly and smiling, a real pleasure to have had a snack there!

03/04/2026: A well-run establishment, both in the kitchen and the dining room, managed by a couple who respect their customers. A real delight; I, who usually prefer a classic crêpe, often order a complete meal, thoroughly enjoyed the scallop and prawn crêpe.

01/04/2026: Excellent welcome and service. The galette and prawn fritters for dinner were delicious, and the owners were fantastic. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the service and food. However, when paying my bill, two other customers criticized the owner for the service and their galettes. I think we're from different planets... 😉😉 See you very soon at this wonderful place!!

12/01/2026: We received a spa pass and brunch as a gift. I was pleasantly surprised by the brunch; I was expecting a cold, English-style buffet, which isn't really my thing. I found the food very good, with a varied selection and everything served hot. The staff was excellent.

22/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant near the castle. The set menu was €39, including a starter, main course, and dessert. The cuisine is simple and highlights local produce. We made some wonderful discoveries, such as the oyster with Japanese flavors and the mimosa sorbet. The service was very friendly and pleasant. Thank you for a lovely evening!

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day menu at €150 (for 2 people), for: - A 30-minute wait for water. - A 1-hour wait for the starter, given that the menu was set and therefore no order could be placed. Clearly, they were understaffed, and it's very disappointing to pay this price for this service. No word or apology was offered by the establishment afterward. Regarding the dishes, we discovered some lovely flavors, but they didn't require much preparation (oyster and granita, Japanese fondue). The dessert was very good but presented very simply. Overall, it didn't live up to the price or our expectations. I would still like to emphasize the quality of the ingredients. In conclusion, this is by far the worst Michelin-starred restaurant we've ever visited.

11/12/2024: We had reserved for 9 people at 8 p.m. to celebrate a birthday and, unbelievably, we found the creperie closed, with no explanation on the door. The pizzeria next door was crowded and couldn't accommodate us. We were devastated, our evening was ruined. It is unacceptable to treat customers with such casualness.

09/12/2024: Even in this season little attention to the customer... Do you ask for an ashtray? We'll bring you the one from the next table which is already full...

17/01/2026: Very average. I ordered a seafood pizza... It was advertised as having scallops, but they were actually queen scallops, which are completely different, and the seafood was still thawing on my pizza (there was water in it). It had no flavor whatsoever.

17/01/2026: I've usually been very happy with the quality from time to time, even if it cost a few euros. But I'm sorry, but for €17, the flavors just weren't there, and the crust was incredibly thin. I'm very disappointed. The waitress must have been overwhelmed, but she was much less welcoming than before at this establishment, which is a real shame.
