27/08/2026: Excellent dinner. Offers traditional Vendée cuisine. The dishes are fresh and well-prepared. A delightful discovery was the grilled eels cooked in an open fireplace. There were six of us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The owner and service were superb. Highly recommended.

23/08/2026: Fantastic find! We came to celebrate two birthdays and discover local products, and we were blown away by the quality. The eels cooked over vine shoots were excellent, the frog legs were to die for...! And the desserts were worthy of a top pastry chef, using seasonal fruit from the family garden! The service was impeccable, with the chef-owner coming to your table to promote his products while showing genuine interest in his customers! Something you just don't see anymore these days. What you're doing is fantastic! I highly recommend it! Thank you!

22/08/2026: A very good restaurant that I've been to several times. The mushroom and truffle risotto was excellent, and the pizzas are delicious. The service was quick, which was great for my 3-year-old son.

22/08/2026: We were delighted with our visit to Les Chardons. The setting is remarkable, with a beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere. We had lunch on the terrace; the tables were well-arranged and the presentation impeccable. There were five of us, including a six-year-old child. The young woman dedicated to our table was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, greatly contributing to making our lunch a truly enjoyable experience. The food on our plates (two mushroom gnocchi, one mushroom risotto, and one pea and mint risotto) was flawless. Thank you for introducing us to this wonderful restaurant; we will be happy to return.

13/09/2026: Fantastic restaurant, right in the countryside. The meat comes from their own farm. They brew their own beer, and all their dishes and desserts are homemade: a real treat! We'll definitely be back! And thank you to the very friendly team for their warm welcome.

07/07/2026: Very, very good. The service was a little too fast (we hadn't even finished our aperitifs!) and there were a lot of people around, which made it a bit crowded. Otherwise, no complaints; the dishes were perfect.

06/07/2026: This restaurant is truly fantastic. The staff is incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive. The decor is beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food and drinks arrive very quickly. You can't help but fall in love with the cuisine, which is both delicious and comforting, and the portions are so generous! A real treat for your heart! 10/09/2026: We were delighted with our meal at Le Roman Bleu. The food is excellent; being gluten intolerant, the waiter reassured me about the dishes I ordered. The galettes were particularly delicious. We wish you a wonderful transition and look forward to seeing you again next year. Edit 09 2026: Le Roman Bleu is our favorite restaurant when we come to Noirmoutier on summer vacation. The cuisine is refined and delicious, the staff is attentive, and the prices are reasonable. We're coming back next week 😊 and again in 2027. Thank you to the whole team.

30/07/2026: A superb discovery! Seated on the terrace, a very pleasant spot despite the tourists. We opted for the €28 set menu (starter, main course, dessert). A real treat! Exceptional mashed potatoes, delicious jus, and excellent sauces. Our 12-year-old enjoyed the Rafio burger very much. We highly recommend this place.

30/07/2026: Overall, we had a good meal. The seafood platter to share was odd; there was pâté on it and only three shrimp, even though there were only two of us—it should have been two or four. The bottle of white wine wasn't chilled, so we had to ask for ice. We also had two seafood sauerkraut dishes, and it's a shame the shrimp were cold. The Dame Blanche was good, but the chocolate was bottled. Aside from that, the service was good, and the terrace was nice too.

06/09/2026: Simply delicious gallettes and crepes. Despite it being a very busy lunchtime when we visited, the service was spot on. This was the second time we had been and won't be the last.
