01/03/2026: Booked last week, but the restaurant was closed when we arrived. It was a real hassle to find another one on Sunday. Thanks for ruining my birthday!

01/03/2026: A very warm welcome. Smiling and competent staff. We came for a family meal, and all the dishes were very good. The ribeye steak (for two) was delicious, and it was a very pleasant surprise to discover an original dish: crispy duck (shredded duck in a filo pastry), which was very delicate. Finally, the desserts were a hit: the surprising limoncello baba and the EXCEPTIONAL pistachio fondant. We will definitely be back. WE RETURNED in March 2026 after booking on the restaurant's website. What a nasty surprise to see it PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!!!! What a lack of respect for customers! Block your website, or at least block the booking button.

19/08/2026: This is our go-to bakery; everything is fantastic—the bread, the pastries, the snacks—lots of choice, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. You simply can't walk by without stopping!

18/08/2026: A small bakery where many tradesmen stop by for a baguette. We love their filled baguettes when we're passing through. Highly recommended.

25/08/2026: We've been coming for years. A little disappointed this time, slow service and dry galettes. The filling was very good.

28/06/2026: The hotel was very well located, unfortunately the comfort of the room was not up to standard due to the heatwave this June.

21/07/2026: A truly special moment, away from the hustle and bustle of the park. The dining room is spacious, calm, and very pleasant. Everything was perfect: the dishes were high-quality, beautifully presented, with refined and sophisticated flavors; the service was friendly and efficient. Special mention to Arthur for his excellent wine selection and his kindness!

28/07/2026: I'm never disappointed when I eat here. The appetizer buffet is varied, and you can easily see that the salads are well-prepared and homemade. The main courses are also well-prepared, often with original touches. The menu is very reasonably priced. I'm always surprised it's not more crowded when I go because the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it! 😊 (I'm a truck driver; there's parking available by walking around the store.)

12/09/2026: Two-hour wait for two main courses and two desserts. A disgrace, and on top of that, the food was very mediocre.

23/08/2026: I was very disappointed by this restaurant. First of all, the welcome was very cold, the wait was long, the pizzas were frozen, the mussels were served cold, without even a large spoon to scoop up the sauce, and the desserts were very pasty. I will never go back. And on top of that, the bill was exorbitant.

27/08/2026: The staff were very welcoming. We ordered three pizzas. The dough was excellent. The pizzas were really very good for the price. Excellent value for money. We recommend it.

10/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in La Roche-sur-Yon! The quality of the ingredients is truly outstanding, the food is delicious, and we enjoy every visit. The waiters and waitresses are very pleasant, welcoming, and always smiling. It's clearly one of the best Japanese restaurants in La Roche-sur-Yon. I particularly appreciate the fact that there are regularly new dishes and things to discover, which always makes me want to come back. A very good place that I recommend without hesitation! 👌🍱

05/08/2026: We were just passing through town and had a craving for Japanese food when we walked past. The price has absolutely nothing to do with the quality. It's way too expensive for what's on the plate. For Japanophiles like us, it's a "Come Dine With Me" experience that turned into a nightmare. The taste just wasn't there. Our big mistake was not checking beforehand. The owners aren't Japanese, and it shows. In the end, it's just a completely failed attempt at a "Come Dine With Me" experience.

07/09/2026: Nearly €20 for two draft beers, €7 for a crêpe... We weren't lucky enough to get a menu, and the prices weren't prominently displayed (which seems like the bare minimum). We felt like we were bothering them, and the bill was exorbitant for just a few drinks and some ice cream. A Parisian terrace with a much better atmosphere and service will cost you significantly less for two draft beers (€19!!). Arçay isn't far now; go there if you don't want to feel ripped off...

26/08/2026: We stopped by for a drink and were met with an unpleasant waitress and dirty tables. Two days later, friends invited us to dinner at the same restaurant, and it only confirmed our opinion: mediocre food, a salad that was barely a meal (shameful!), and the bill was ridiculously high. You'd need a very advanced education to understand it. The only positive point was the waiter, who was very kind. In short, avoid this place.
