07/12/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our night at the hotel. The welcome was warm, and we had pleasant conversations with the staff. The hotel is tastefully renovated without losing the traditional charm one expects when visiting the Vosges Mountains. The location, with its view of the lake and the town, is ideal (although it does require a car or a short walk to get into town). The ambiance—with its fireplace and dogs—made us feel right at home. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with some local specialties. The restaurant was closed, however, likely due to low occupancy. This isn't unique to this hotel, but in December, you can definitely feel the end of the winter tourism season in the Vosges, and the supply far exceeds the demand. Excellent value for money.

10/09/2024: Nous avons organisé notre repas de baptême pour 40 personnes à l'auberge des Hetz et nous avons été ravis. Nous étions déjà venu il y a 6 ans pour notre premier enfant et malgré le changement de propriétaire entre temps pour était très bien. La cuisine est très bonne et le chef s'adapte à nos envies pour l'organisation, la décoration de la table etc... Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons également en plus petit comité.

17/11/2024: We ordered food here to take away and it was delicious! The service was top notch and the food was ready quickly. They added a delicious homemade sauce to the dish that was really great. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back here!

26/09/2024: Very warm welcome, the staff are really very kind and warm. The restaurant room is magnificent, spacious and can accommodate all types of meals...business, lovers, or leisure. The wine that accompanies the daily menu is excellent as well as the one I had with my à la carte dish, a chardonnay. Prices are correct. I highly recommend this place. The young woman who served us was really caring and very attentive to our needs. Thanks to the whole team!
