26/07/2026: We were just passing through Épinal and ate at this restaurant twice, and honestly, we have nothing but praise. The waiters were incredibly kind and very professional. The food was delicious, both the main courses and the desserts. The waiters had a great sense of humor, and we had a wonderful time. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to Maxime from Verre Cattin; we had a great laugh with him! :) You know, the ones who talk like people from Marseille, haha! xD

22/07/2026: A disastrous experience. The waitress was in a hurry to take our payment but couldn't bring paper napkins with the ice cream sundaes, claiming it wasn't part of the restaurant service. 🤔🤔🤔 I've never heard such an excuse! The "Italian" ice cream sundaes are sold for between €6 plain and €7.50 with a sauce... a real RIP-OFF! We had just arrived from Hyères in the Var region, and even at the port of Hyères on the Mediterranean, the large 3-scoop ice cream sundae with whipped cream, sauce, and two toppings is sold for €6.50 with the impeccable quality of an artisanal ice cream parlor and an incomparable quantity... In conclusion: AVOID AT ALL COSTS

24/06/2026: We received a very warm welcome, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good. We had a very pleasant stay.

07/06/2026: To be honest: We found the hotel terrible, both inside and out. Paint is peeling off the wood, inside it is dark and cold, and there is an unpleasant old-fashioned smell. The rooms are extremely old (they probably have a few good renovated rooms for the photos). The whole hotel came across to us as if it had been closed for years and had just reopened. Restaurant is not open! Location on an “industrial estate” and about a 20-minute walk to the city center We are not quick to write a negative review, but this hotel was truly below standard! The entire hotel really needs a renovation!!

27/07/2026: The quantity was just right, so I recommend it for big eaters. The portions are generous. The couscous will never be as good as what I eat at home with my family, but it's still pretty good 👍

30/10/2025: The decor and style don't exactly make you want to linger. Now that we've addressed that issue, we can move on. I had a fantastic raclette, but the service was really lacking in tact. They could do much better.

17/05/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit to Juke Box. I ordered a Vosges salad, but the dish was clearly subpar: the potatoes looked like they'd just come out of a vacuum-sealed package and weren't even browned, the bacon was terribly undercooked (almost raw), and to top it all off, the salad contained sand, a sign of poor washing. In short, it was really bad. I don't recommend it. It's a shame, because the atmosphere and the waitresses were nice.

15/05/2026: Everything was going well until dessert, when I ordered an Oreo tiramisu. What arrived was more like a cake with several layers of sponge... it was dry, and I decided not to eat it. I mentioned it to the waitress who was taking our payment, but no compensation was offered! A shame, and on principle, we won't be back.

21/07/2026: Fantastic find! I knew when I made the reservation that there wouldn't be any pizzas (staffing issues...). The grilled prawns more than made up for my pizza craving. Perfectly cooked and served with roasted tropical fruit. Delicious! The dessert was equally impressive, a lovely chocolate fondant. Thank you also for the quick and friendly service. Highly recommended!

21/07/2026: We went to Restaurant du So several times during our stay in Val d’Ajol. When we made our reservations, we were always informed that they didn't have pizza at the time. We tried various dishes from the menu, particularly the prawn skewer with generous pieces of roasted exotic fruit, the poke bowl, and the pulled pork burger. We will gladly return.

16/08/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time I feel compelled to. This review has absolutely nothing to do with the food, but rather with the staff's attitude. Tonight, we encountered a woman at the register who was particularly unpleasant and haughty. She kept rolling her eyes and sighing in front of the customers. I completely understand that service can be intense, being in the restaurant industry myself, and that the rush can be stressful. However, there's still a certain demeanor and a minimum of respect that should be shown to customers. We also heard remarks that we found clearly racist, which is all the more shocking in a halal restaurant. I find this completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Regardless of appearance, mood, or personal circumstances, the very least one can do when working with customers is to remain polite and respectful. It's a real shame, because this kind of attitude can unfortunately spoil the experience, even when the food is good.

16/06/2026: Review: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ We had booked in advance for 7 people, which made for a nice little table. We chose to be seated inside. The restaurant has a lovely dining room with pleasant decor, but despite our reservation and the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated in the entrance area, a high-traffic zone. This wasn't very comfortable, and we couldn't fully appreciate the restaurant's ambiance. The welcome was pleasant, and the staff courteous. However, several things disappointed us. First, our aperitif was served without any accompaniments: no amuse-bouche, not even a small ramekin of savory biscuits. Upon arrival, we were also informed that the chicken supreme from the €29 set menu was no longer available, with no alternative offered. We therefore opted for the à la carte menu, which was rather limited and less appealing, as the higher-priced set menu was more expensive. We ordered five ham hocks with Munster sauce and two other dishes. A few minutes after placing our order, we were told that only two of the five ham hocks were left. We therefore had to choose the duck breast option offered instead, at the same price. Finally, the "gourmet coffee" turned out to be very basic considering the price. In the end, we found the value for money disappointing, with a limited selection and rather small portions. It's a shame, because the dishes served were actually good. This series of disappointments nevertheless spoiled part of our experience.

23/07/2026: There was a bit of a wait upon arrival while a table became available, but that's to be expected in the summer. We had a lovely time on the terrace overlooking the lake 😍 The staff were helpful and friendly, and the service was quick. Thank you for a pleasant evening!

23/07/2026: Terrible service, slow even for an order, over 20 minutes wait. When you call, they say it's not me, it's my colleague. No one arrives after you, and I'm served much sooner. Over an hour's wait for two burgers. The waiter was unhelpful, didn't know his job, and when you ask for the bill, you have to go over to pay and are told you weren't informed and should have left without paying. He prefers to chat and joke with his colleagues. They refuse service because they don't open the inside. No information is given that holiday vouchers aren't accepted. In short, I'll never be back, even if I'm invited.

25/07/2026: Visiting the area for the weekend, we decided to stop at this charming little place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant, with a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. Excellent service 👌 No complaints whatsoever.
