30/11/2024: Superb atypical bar. The cocktails are excellent and the service is of high quality. I recommend the Singapore Sling which is, in my opinion, their best cocktail. The South American trendy atmosphere is great! I recommend this address to everyone passing through Versailles!

02/09/2024: We had a great time in this restaurant; if its setting is simple, the service and cuisine are perfect. Our well-filled pancakes were delicious, the ice creams particularly creamy with a strong taste and the espresso coffee as I like it, strong without bitterness. The young waiter's smile was appreciable, as was his availability and kindness. Even the toilets are impeccable! In short, a great place to enjoy! We will come back, for sure!

The food was not good: questionable fries, rotten chicken or close to the use-by date (the taste probably came from Japanese breadcrumbs! 🤔) 3. For wine advice “well, everything is on the menu!” 4. The Caesar salad wasn't looking for the taste of my sauce, it doesn't have any! That's it for me!

28/08/2024: Ce soir-là, nous y avons fêté notre anniversaire de mariage et quelle bonne idée ! Que c'est bon. Une attention particulière dans l'assiette, un travail soigné, bien mené, bien copieux... Que dire de la mouclade, de la cuisson des couteaux au cordeau, et du reste ? C'est très bon. Une très belle carte des vins avec de très bons vins à tous les prix... Et même, des prix raisonnables pour la qualité des vins. Y a de belles trouvailles, tel que "seul en scène". Pourquoi 4/5 me dire vous ? Et bien , j'ai trouvé la facture un peu élevée. Certes les produits sont haut de gamme, ils sont parfaitement travaillés , mais un effort sur l'addition et ce sera nickel 👍

07/08/2024: I often go there in the evening when I come to the area and I find great pleasure there. I rarely have the opportunity at lunchtime and having tried twice I confirm that patience is essential in this case. Lots of people, primarily a consequence of the quality/price ratio. “To eat well, know how to wait” right? No ramen unfortunately and this is not planned in the future apparently. After all, it's not "Plazza Ramen". The “loyalty card” policy is also very rigid. I am much more flexible in my own business in a completely different sector of activity, however. For good skewers it is better not to come at the very end of the evening or they are sometimes unavailable. Before 9:30 p.m. no problem. An establishment that I therefore recommend. Without hesitation.

02/12/2024: For my part, I have not tested the “room” part. My opinion will therefore only focus on the catering part. I find that this restaurant essentially lives on its reputation. The service is equivalent to that of a “trendy” Parisian brasserie. We didn't even have the opportunity to choose to eat indoors, on the pretext that it was summer. This was certainly true, but it was 18°C ​​that evening. The food is good, certainly, but absolutely does not justify its price. It is indeed tasty but very simplistic. For around 200 euros per person, one would expect a level worthy of a starred restaurant. But once the meal is finished, we understand the absence of a star. The room seems dated, and the garden furniture is uncomfortable and shabby. On the other hand, the sommelier is very friendly. I choose to give it a 3 star rating, not because the cuisine is bad, but because the restaurant is aging very poorly and the cuisine is becoming more and more simplistic, unlike the prices which remain high. In summary, for the same budget, I advise you to go to a good starred restaurant.

It's exactly what we were looking for, a very friendly, privatized restaurant, with good quality food and services that lived up to or even more than our expectations. I will certainly return to taste all the dishes on the menu, because when you love the cuisine, you look for even better elsewhere and at La Veranda, you will be in the right place. The prices are well worth the quality and for us it is well deserved the 5 stars, thanking the waitresses and the owner very much.
