21/02/2024: Just 5 minutes from Monclar station, the Auberge is an excellent accommodation and catering solution. Calm and pleasure are what describe this charming place from which you can see the Serre Ponçon lake. The hosts and their Jack Russel Dobby will welcome you with kindness and professionalism. The apartments available are tastefully decorated, combining rustic charm with a good touch of “Madeleine de Proust” and modernity in the details of the decor. The value for money is great and if you want to have lunch or dinner on site inside or outside on a magnificent terrace near a fountain, the menu offered to you is superb and concise. From homemade to fries. A final word: We had a great time as a family (9 of us) both young and old had a great time. Thank you for everything 🙏🏾

23/03/2024: Nice restaurant where we were able to eat recently. Fair price, proportional to the quantity of food offered. It's a shame to reheat the pasta in the microwave because it cools quite quickly, suggestion to replace it with fries to accompany the mountain escalope (more flavorful and mountain effect). However, excellent dessert (blueberry crumble) and wide choice available!! Pleasant and attentive service 😊

17/01/2024: Little corner of happiness. Refined and mastered cuisine with a chef who takes the time to chat with his customers and even give cooking advice. The service is impeccable and the place magnificent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A restaurant that is worth the detour, a most professional and warm welcome, a couple of restaurateurs (Mr in the kitchen and Madam in the service), the cook greets us on arrival and departure, the sense of a job well done and the sense of care of its guests. Not to mention the taste surprises, a delight. Excellent value. I have great memories of it and I recommend +++

31/03/2024: This Easter weekend, we went there on Saturday lunchtime, had to go back on Sunday, and we will go back again 😅 it's simply GOOD and all the staff are friendly, from the waiters to the boss including the pizza maker which works wonders!!! Very Beautiful Address... And it is without hesitation a 5* for great value for money!

30/09/2023: About 20km from Barcelonnette and almost 2000m above sea level on the road to the Col de Restefond, this authentic restaurant is pure joy. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. You can see herds of sheep moving through the mountain pastures, and a playful river meandering through the meadow. For an affordable price, the dishes are generous and prepared on the spot using excellent local products: cold cuts, cheeses, meats all served on very appetizing varied platters. The country lamb chops are a real treat. We had the pleasure of going there outside of the rush in August, welcomed by warm and friendly staff, but to be sure of having a table it is better to reserve. This is a place that calls us to return, which we will certainly do as soon as the sunny days return for our greatest pleasure.

10/12/2023: This December 10, 2023, we are tasting the poppy-candied orange biscuits that a friend gave us. Really excellent, a good taste of butter, sweet as it should be, neither too much nor too little, impeccable texture and only good products in the composition. Congratulations on this great work. We save the address!

04/04/2024: Very good experience at chalet la maline. The sunny terrace is a real plus after a good walk to unwind. Comfortable dormitory bed, good and hearty meals in a friendly atmosphere with other hikers. The next day breakfast was good too. The hosts gave us advice on hiking and we had a great picnic: lentil salad, cheese, bread, pompot and cereal bar.

03/04/2024: Perched on the heights at the epicenter of the Gorges du Verdon, this FFCAM refuge is conveniently located on the crest route, at the convergence of the Blanc-Martel, Bastidon and Imbut trails. It allows you to stop for a snack, a night or more. The dinners are generous, refined, varied and adapted to diets. For those used to shelters, this one is more like a hostel, in terms of its comfort and ease of access. Beyond the panorama, the comfort and the gastronomy, I would especially like to highlight the particularly warm and generous welcome, as well as the wise advice from the caretakers!
