The dishes are flavorful, generous, and perfectly executed. A big thank you for your kindness; the charm is evident both in the food and the welcome 😘 The shaded terrace is a true haven of coolness, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal in complete tranquility. 29/07/2026: Back in Digne-les-Bains after four years, I returned to Smack with the same pleasure. The quality is still there: the pan bagnat, the Alpin, the ice cream… everything is excellent! Not to mention the waitress, always so smiling and welcoming 😊🙏. An address I recommend without hesitation ☀️

05/09/2026: Lovely restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace. Good food, tender meat served with fries and various vegetables. However, a major drawback: they offered a few dishes, but in the end, the waitress (at 12:10 PM) arrived to say there were only two left to choose from.

03/09/2026: A lunch stop on the road at Café du Midi. Drawn in by the location and the terrace. The goat cheese salad was deliciously seasoned and satisfying, the welcome was warm, and the restrooms were clean. It's a pleasure to have lunch in a restaurant that pays attention to every detail, which is anything but insignificant. I'll be back! 👌

13/08/2026: I've been to many Indian restaurants and I appreciate this cuisine when it's well done, but that wasn't the case here. The owner's humor was questionable, and the dishes looked good, but unfortunately, as the saying goes, they were a disaster when it came to digestion. If you need an intestinal cleanse, go to Taj; otherwise, choose another restaurant.

14/08/2026: It's difficult to find a place to eat in the evening during the peak tourist season in Castellane. We were seated immediately and served quickly for a very reasonable price.

09/08/2026: We were advised to go. First impression: it doesn't look like much, but we were looking for authenticity… and we certainly got it! Marie, the cook, only wants one thing: to please her customers. The result: a perfect evening, top-notch service despite the crowd that night, and cuisine that was as delicious as it was refined. Thank you again, ladies!

07/08/2026: We had a great meal, the food was made with fresh market produce, and the house cocktail (lemon and ginger) was fantastic. The setting was lovely. There was a blind taste test evening, which we couldn't attend, but we heard from our rental that there was a great atmosphere! 😂

31/08/2026: The service was far too slow. I understand it was busy, but serving people who arrived after us is simply unacceptable. We arrived at 7:15 PM. It's now 8:45 PM and I still haven't been served my main course. I contacted the waiter again. He explained the delay (a technical problem in the kitchen). Okay, no problem, I can understand that, but not serving other people who arrived after us. I should mention that the staff apologized and offered a gesture of goodwill.
