23/03/2026: I came for my 40th birthday and was quite disappointed. I'd heard good things about it, but unfortunately, the meal was disappointing. The concept is nice, with several dishes featuring local products, but half of it was underwhelming. One dish had a green juice made from leaves from the neighboring meadow, but it lacked substance and was rather uninteresting. The meat cooked on a string over the beautiful fireplace is a nice touch, but when it's undercooked, it's simply inedible! And the dessert consisted of a strawberry tart, and that's it! Not a scoop of ice cream or a coulis, just a small piece... For a restaurant with a good reputation and at a good price, I was really disappointed. I don't think I'd recommend it or go back. It's a shame, because the dining room is authentic and the place is pleasant, but the food isn't up to par, or at least not to my taste!

31/05/2026: During our weekend stay at the Coulassou gîte, we discovered the Arthéa inn and its catering service. Located just 5 minutes from the gîte, we had booked several menus, all of which were equally delicious. It's easy to see the passion Arthur puts into cooking and sharing excellent service tips. You can trust them completely!

25/05/2026: This review pertains solely to the restaurant during dinner. A truly wonderful experience. Lovely setting. Original and excellent cuisine. Exceptional presentation of the dishes. Incredible desserts. One can only admire the effort put into it. The only slight drawback was the somewhat rushed service (clearly in an effort to be perfect) when one would have preferred to take one's time during such a meal. An establishment I highly recommend.

25/05/2026: Here's a review: 🌟 A perfect stay at Les Platanes We had an excellent three-day stay at the Hotel Les Platanes in Thueyts, and we highly recommend it! What we particularly loved: The exceptional welcome: The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and offers excellent advice for exploring the beautiful Ardèche region. The comfort and amenities: The hotel offers all the modern conveniences that make a difference, including an elevator (very practical for luggage) and efficient air conditioning, essential for cool nights. The peace and cleanliness: The establishment is impeccably clean, and the surroundings are particularly peaceful, ideal for relaxation. Our little French bulldog was very comfortable as dogs are welcome. Breakfasts: Very complete, perfect for fueling up before heading out for sightseeing or hiking. Convenience: Free parking is located right next to the hotel, making getting around much easier. In short: A wonderful place to stay in Thueyts, combining comfort, tranquility, and a friendly atmosphere. We will definitely return! 10/05/2026: Hello. The meal consisted of small portions and very fatty meat, so we went with friends who also shared their disappointment. The prices were very high and the portions too small for customers with average appetites. So, we were all quite disappointed, especially considering the much better restaurants nearby.

09/05/2026: The welcome was good, the setting too, but the value for money was disappointing. While the quality of the food seemed acceptable, the quantity was lacking, and I'm a light eater. All four of us agreed on this point. Having frequented restaurants in the Auvergne, Drôme, and Ardèche regions, this inn left me with mixed feelings. Far too expensive for what it offered... I know everything is going up, but in this particular case, we felt like we got the bare minimum for the maximum price.
