The price-quality ratio is truly excellent. I go there frequently when I'm in Pamiers and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend it.

27/01/2026: The welcome is very warm, the room intimate and the service is attentive but not stuffy. The recommendations and the little stories surrounding each bottle are very well explained by the oenologist. Finally, the 5-course menu is a little marvel, which builds in power throughout the dinner to finish with a delicious 3-course dessert. I highly recommend this place to all our Ax sports loisirs customers.

28/01/2026: I eat here regularly or get takeout; working nearby makes it very convenient for my schedule, and the service is quick. My favorites are simple but delicious: often miso and vinegared rice. The shrimp dragon roll 🍤 is really good!

As for the restaurant, we enjoyed every meal from appetizer to dessert, and what a pleasure to find such sophisticated and varied vegetarian dishes! A gem in the heart of this valley, don't hesitate to stop by :)

21/09/2025: We want to share our fabulous experience at this hostel. We arrived here on a rainy August night, after an eight-day trek across the Pyrenees from Spain. The welcome was spectacular. We didn't have a reservation; everything was full, but at the last minute, some guests who had reserved a room couldn't get in and were able to offer it to us. We had planned to stay one night, but ended up staying for three. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and Jackie, the founder, continues to be the soul of this hostel. The homemade apple tarts are delicious. We will definitely return. Thank you so much!!!

26/12/2025: This is just my opinion, and as always, form your own opinion and experience. Passing through Ariège to visit wool artisans and find horn combs (tricky, right?), I was hungry, and I love "old-fashioned" restaurants, not those trendy, overpriced tapas places where you end up with nothing to eat. "Chez Ginette" is old-fashioned! Very old-fashioned, in fact! The delicious soup is free, the portions are generous, and the decor is authentic. It's definitely not for the pretentious, unless you're looking for a more open-minded, village-like atmosphere! As a bonus, the people are friendly and chatty. If you're outgoing too, you might even get some boozy treats, in moderation! It's the kind of place we love, where you feel like a kid again if your parents took you there, where you step back in time to better times, as we often hear these days...
