01/10/2026: Despite our 15-minute delay (and our apologies), we received a warm and friendly welcome. We found a small parking area for our motorcycles and then... off to eat! The dishes were a feast for both the eyes and the palate. We were so comfortable that we lingered and ended up running even later than planned for our ride 😂. Thank you!

We immediately felt at ease, just like at home. Special mention goes to the breakfast: everything is homemade, generous, and delicious. A real treat to start the day off right! We highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return.

17/04/2026: Restaurant closed since February 2026. There was no information about it on Google, their website, or Facebook. We made the trip for nothing. Finally, when we tried to call to find out why no one was there, the person who answered said it was closed...

02/01/2026: A little gem! We wanted to introduce our 12-year-old son to refined and delicious cuisine. The place is very charming, the service impeccable, and the food as beautiful to look at as it is to taste. I highly recommend it.

24/10/2026: We just had a wonderful time celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. The food was superb, with a chef who genuinely loves people, and a remarkably kind waitress! The €33 set menu was generous, including duck and homemade fries... frankly, this restaurant is well worth a visit during your stroll around Bethmale Pond! The staff's genuine dedication is something that's becoming increasingly rare... A huge congratulations! We'll definitely be back very often now!!

10/10/2026: Invited by my partner to this inn for a weekend, I expected a pleasant experience based on the reviews. Unfortunately, aside from the food, there wasn't much else to recommend, except perhaps when the waitresses (who were clearly understaffed) had the time. We had specified that we wanted to eat outside, but since they didn't have time to clear the table, they refused to seat us (I should mention that it was just a plate, cutlery, a glass, and a coffee cup). Determined to take our time, we told them we weren't in a hurry so they could move us outside. Twenty minutes later, the owner came to take our order: we had to choose dessert at the same time as the starter and main course, the morel egg was sold out mid-order, and the only vegetarian option was salads, or you had to remove the ingredients that made them expensive. I asked if it was possible to replace the bacon with an extra goat cheese toast, and was told, "That's not possible because the chef has already prepared the toasts" (a ludicrous response). We also ordered a bottle of wine and still water. The starter arrived 15 minutes later, and still no bottle of wine. We had to ask again to get it, and once it arrived, the glasses were missing, so we had to ask for them again. No bread was refilled during the entire service, and we were never served still water. They had promised to move us outside for lunch, but guess what? That never happened. I should mention that the food is delicious, the ingredients are prepared with care, and that's what caused all our frustration. A deplorable customer experience, except perhaps for regulars who speak the same language as them. This would involve hiring someone extra, for example; it is the customers who make your business run, the quality of service is as important as that of the products even if your hostel is close to a tourist site.
