30/07/2026: I contacted the restaurant at noon to make a reservation. Since it was full, the person on the line offered me a slot at 2 PM, which was normal so far. I told him I'd call back in two minutes to check with my family. To which he replied very curtly, "If I have time," before hanging up on me...

15/07/2026: From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was perfect. We were surprised by the quality, especially since we were just passing by. The discovery platter and the bento box were generously filled and delicious.

30/06/2026: Excellent and very fun with the little train that goes around with dishes to discover. Since it's very tasty and the portions are small, you end up serving yourself a lot of small plates and... the bill is hefty!

01/05/2026: A wonderful hotel right next to the Cité and in the heart of Carcassonne. The rooms are fantastic and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The small but excellent continental breakfast is prepared with great care and is very reasonably priced at €18. Thank you for everything!

03/08/2026: A children's menu at €7.50 is expensive for a fast food restaurant, especially considering that adult menus are around €8.50-€9.

29/06/2026: I ordered delivery. In the photo they show the burger as two-tiered, but when you receive it 😂 there's just a tiny slice of chicken on one tier, obviously, and you have to search for it. Please post the correct photo because this is a scam.

22/08/2026: The €21 set menu was really limited; the starter and dessert were extremely simple. We ate outside and consequently felt abandoned after an hour's wait between courses. They even brought us desserts before we'd received our main courses, so we had to wait even longer. Then, an hour later, the desserts weren't even the right ones... Poor organization. It's a shame because the wait was pleasant, but far too long.

09/08/2026: A 'quick' lunch... No... we took our time in a magnificent setting... a terrace under the trees... the servers were all smiling. Thank you, Sarah. The Caesar salad with the added touch of dry-cured ham... very dry, yet crispy. A very pleasant experience. THANK YOU

21/07/2026: I was served the starter and then the main course immediately, without even having time to finish the starter. Before the main course arrived, I had to ask for salt, then pepper, and on top of that, I hadn't even finished my meal when they came to ask me to pay, four times insistently. The service is terrible! I took the time to spend 10 minutes filling out the loyalty card to please the waiter, and he was ungrateful and pushy. I wanted a dessert and a coffee, but nothing. It's awful. To say the least.

21/07/2026: The decor now looks quite dated, and the entire restaurant gives an impression of neglect. The carpeting on some walls and the floor visibly retains odors accumulated over the years, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. The staff is very friendly but clearly lacks professional training. The tapas served as appetizers arrived at the same time as the main courses. The waiter couldn't open the bottle of wine, and we ended up having to do it ourselves. The plates were very hot, so they were brought on a tray, and then the waiter asked us to take them ourselves to avoid getting burned. The overall quality of the food was acceptable, but many details were overlooked. The baked potato was served without sour cream and was therefore particularly dry. The sauce was brought after we asked for it. The tapas seem to be essentially fried, mass-produced items, served without any real presentation in a simple basket. The dishes also lacked care, decoration, and presentation. The overall impression is rather impersonal and lacks ambition. This is a shame, because it's a well-known and proven concept, but one that now seems to be gradually declining. With better maintenance of the restaurant, more staff training, and greater attention to detail, the establishment could regain a significantly higher level of quality.

09/08/2026: Very Nice B&B with a most charming host who knows a lot about (local) wine and ancient, original food. It was a pleasure to have diner which includes lovely explanation on the food and the wine. A recommendation for sure.

30/06/2026: A perfect welcome, a warm atmosphere, you feel right at home. Exceptional food and wine (birthday celebration with 20 people). A wonderful time in a peaceful setting that transports you to another era! Highly recommended.
