09/08/2026: We're glad we stopped here. I was looking for a relaxing, casual place. It's a typical local spot, and it's popular. The owner and the gentleman with the dog are friendly.

31/07/2026: Chez Ammad: a neighborhood institution where the few remaining Montmartre locals still gather with renewed pleasure, while also attracting strollers discovering the Butte and looking for an authentic, affordable, and welcoming spot. Not forgetting the other Parisians who frequent the theaters (theaters like Abbesses, La Manufacture, and L'Atelier). You'll always be greeted by Foued's impeccable wit, humor, and charm, under the watchful eye of the great and endearing owner, Ammad, who has been running the bar for four decades now and preserving its history, which you'll discover when you visit. Bonus: a great musical atmosphere and often jam sessions and/or live concerts.

25/05/2026: We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. We greatly appreciated the kindness of Soso and his wife. We were delighted because everything was perfect. The table was beautifully set, the aperitif was very convivial with excellent tapas. The meal was delicious and very generous, and the cake was superb... all this at a relaxed pace, allowing us to savor every moment. Thank you, Soso, for your warmth, your guitar, and your kindness.

27/02/2026: An unpretentious restaurant, perfect for meeting up with friends (which is exactly what we did), in a rugby-loving atmosphere and enjoying simple, hearty meals like grandma used to make. We shared a convivial experience at very reasonable prices (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee: €18.10), welcomed and served by a Biarritz rugby legend. Humor and simplicity reigned. No frills, the focus is on the food and the friendly banter. The atmosphere was filled with stories and wonderful moments from the Biarritz Olympique's glory days, and the spirit of two other pillars of the club—Serge Betsen and Serge Blanco—was palpable. 08/05/2026: A very pleasant stay at Camping du Bois de Valmarie. A good campsite, the mobile home was clean and well-equipped. Perhaps a small television would have been a welcome addition, even just to watch the news, for example. We were a little disappointed with the jacuzzi area, which was too cold for our liking. Initially reserved for adults (18+), the pool was repeatedly filled with children (with their parents in the sun loungers...). Why not implement supervision, if it isn't already in place? On the plus side, the mini-market isn't too expensive for basic camping supplies, and the site is well-located. Bicycles, a griddle, and paddleboards are available for rent.

03/05/2026: We were only there for two days, that was enough for us.

27/08/2026: Booked twice in the same week for dinner (once for 4 people, once for 5). The first time was fine, but the second time we didn't find the welcome warm. We were even told we were a little late and that this was a problem because there was another seating after us. Five minutes late and a big dilemma: we skipped dessert to avoid lingering too long. Profit, profit. I live in Vaux, but I don't know if I'll be back.

13/07/2026: food was very good… staff was rude and unhelpful. takeaway may be the best option. I asked for the drink options and was told nothing was available. Mid meal a gentleman comes in a waitress immediately offers him different drinks including beer. Why was I not afforded the same courtesy? Also not sure why the waitstaff would be okay with sending a broken spoon with your leftovers

24/06/2026: Best of best. I totally enjoyed my egusi and pounded yam. The best ever and no complications like bloating, coz that's my fear when eating egusi or efo in a restaurant. It is a top notch.

20/08/2026: Excellent find! A quality restaurant with pleasant service and a welcoming team. The dishes are delicious and well-prepared, with original specialties not found everywhere, such as the stuffed baguette and the makloub. I highly recommend trying them! I was very satisfied with my experience, both with the quality of the food and the service. I will gladly return!

13/08/2026: A fantastic spot in Annecy! Le Pont Morens is a truly lovely bar with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is welcoming, smiling, and very attentive. The food is excellent, with a nice selection of drinks, crêpes, waffles, and other dishes. It's the perfect place to have a drink or spend quality time with friends or family. I highly recommend it, especially if you're visiting Annecy! A big thank you to Kelia and Sasha, the owner's children, who are very kind!

13/08/2026: We ordered a mixed platter... and it was delicious! Charcuterie, cheese, peppers, and grapes with sweet and sour sauce—a real treat! The view was lovely, and the waitresses were very pleasant. The background music was a nice touch. It was fantastic! Thank you!

21/08/2026: Absolutely avoid! I first went to La Régence in La Turbie about a year ago, on an invitation. Unfortunately, I went back this week, only because a friend wanted to chat quietly in a quiet place. And we certainly got what we asked for: there was practically no one there, apart from a few regulars who were mainly there to drink. Let me be perfectly clear: in my opinion, this establishment absolutely does not deserve to be called a restaurant. The place gave me an impression of being outdated, poorly maintained, and having an unhealthy atmosphere. Even the desire to go in is dilapidated. On the semi-enclosed terrace, between the regulars, dogs, and even a stroller, it was frankly chaotic and unpleasant. As for the food, it's simply unbelievable: only two dishes on the menu: wood-fired pizza or grilled chicken. No appetizers, no desserts. I very clearly asked the waiter if the pizza was actually homemade, especially the dough. He confirmed that yes, it was homemade dough and cooked in a wood-fired oven. The result after about a 20-minute wait: a huge disappointment. The dough was, in my opinion, clearly undercooked, with an unpleasant texture and so thin that the slice was practically indestructible. The attached photos speak for themselves. My friend ordered a chicken leg, served with just a few salad leaves, without any real side dish or sauce. A plate of disconcerting simplicity and meagerness. The service and the staff's demeanor did little to reassure me about the establishment's professionalism. The overall impression was one of carelessness and a lack of professionalism. In short: a disastrous experience from beginning to end. Atmosphere, condition of the premises, service, and food: nothing made me want to return. Personally, I will never set foot in that place again, and I strongly advise against it for anyone seeking even a modicum of quality, choice, and professionalism. Avoid it at all costs.

06/08/2026: The service at the tobacconist was very unpleasant; he refused to serve me for no reason, perhaps because of my tan... I do not recommend this type of shopkeeper.

15/07/2026: This restaurant offers some of the best food in the area. The lamb tajine and the chicken couscous were exceptionally tasty. Services was very friendly, and the prices perfectly reasonable. We'll come back.

05/07/2026: Their specialty is couscous, and there's something for everyone! The welcome is always warm, and the terrace is superb for eating in good weather! We just had a wonderful evening with the family!

10/06/2026: The owner was extremely unpleasant, with no customer service or hospitality whatsoever. He pressured us to order more than we wanted. In a fit of anger, he made up for it by forcing us to buy a 75cl bottle of wine. It was far too expensive, he wasn't friendly, and the couscous was very mediocre! Avoid at all costs!

26/08/2026: The service is disorganized. We received our main course before our aperitifs. We had to ask three times before getting a carafe of water. The frogs' legs were swimming in oil. The fries were soggy. The capriccio was good, but the accompanying salad was unappetizing. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts) came with tasteless pastries. It was impossible to identify the flavor of each item, and no explanation was given. There were too many people for the poorly attended service. In short, the Georges Blanc spirit needs a serious overhaul. 😅😘🤔

25/08/2026: Excellent food, superb frogs' legs. Small fried fish, salmon tartare, foie gras – everything was perfect. The service was quite quick and pleasant. And a terrace with a view of the Saône. A truly excellent place.

26/07/2026: I think this store is now called Marcel & Fils Bio. It is a first class supermarket, with very helpful staff. Comprehensively stocked, but layout could be improved - we struggled to find a simple list of items that were ultimately in stock, but not where we expected to find them. I would definitely shop here again.
