28/06/2026: This is my second time at this restaurant, and it's always a delight. The gentleman greets us with great kindness. The value for money is exceptional, with spring rolls (and other fried appetizers) far superior to those in other restaurants I've been to. A tip: choose one of the specialties; the gentleman who serves you might then explain how to eat your dish (cutting, mixing, sauce). I really appreciate his advice because I can tell he genuinely wants to share his culture. A joy!

25/05/2026: We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. We greatly appreciated the kindness of Soso and his wife. We were delighted because everything was perfect. The table was beautifully set, the aperitif was very convivial with excellent tapas. The meal was delicious and very generous, and the cake was superb... all this at a relaxed pace, allowing us to savor every moment. Thank you, Soso, for your warmth, your guitar, and your kindness.

27/02/2026: An unpretentious restaurant, perfect for meeting up with friends (which is exactly what we did), in a rugby-loving atmosphere and enjoying simple, hearty meals like grandma used to make. We shared a convivial experience at very reasonable prices (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee: €18.10), welcomed and served by a Biarritz rugby legend. Humor and simplicity reigned. No frills, the focus is on the food and the friendly banter. The atmosphere was filled with stories and wonderful moments from the Biarritz Olympique's glory days, and the spirit of two other pillars of the club—Serge Betsen and Serge Blanco—was palpable. 30/09/2025: When we were told we could use the UP lunch card at the entrance, I was supposed to be able to pay with it. However, when the bill arrived, it was impossible to pay with the lunch card, neither with my card nor my wife's. To claim they were accepting the card but then not actually accept it upon arrival seems dishonest to me. (The card hadn't been used before, so a €25 charge was possible, and it was a Thursday!) It made for a poor customer experience.

26/06/2026: After discovering this restaurant in April, we were delighted to return this evening. We ordered our fish (grilled sea bass with virgin sauce) by phone the day before – it was fantastic! The first time I forgot to leave a review, so here it is 👇👇 Excellent experience! The restaurant is welcoming, the staff is friendly and very attentive. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The service was quick and the atmosphere very pleasant, thanks to Basket's expertise. 21/05/2026: Quite possibly one of the best, if not the best, Réunion Island culinary experiences in Paris. Everything is perfect: the menu, the decor, the friendly service, and of course, the food! I highly recommend it for discovering or rediscovering what makes this island one of the most captivating on the planet. Bravo!

24/05/2026: I absolutely hated the atmosphere and the welcome. The terrace at the entrance desperately needs a good cleaning; it doesn't look very professional. The menu is limited and doesn't include any traditional North African sodas or juices. However, they do have North African and Israeli wines... Not everyone drinks alcohol. Furthermore, the prices are rather high. You get the distinct impression that the clientele is very targeted, which is immediately apparent in the "customer-centric" service. A real shame. It's a far cry from the usual warm atmosphere of Middle Eastern restaurants.

25/05/2026: Room: very big for Paris; could be modernised with more available power outlets within and stronger water pressure but all minor. Great service and location for those who want to be close to the best inner Paris marais edge to their stay.

23/04/2026: We really enjoyed a family trip in Paris at the 1K Hotel. The staff was particularly pleasant, helpful and kind. They did everything to make our stay as great as possible. We slept very well. The hotel was located in a lovely area full of restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

29/06/2026: The waiter was unfriendly; he should find another job. There was absolutely no interaction with the customers. And drinking alcohol right next to us at the next table during service was extremely inappropriate. The cook leaning against the wall with his sunglasses on and arms crossed while we'd been waiting for our food for ages was completely unacceptable. The food was very mediocre. Avoid this place...

16/06/2026: Simple and good but a little expensive depending on the dishes, this place remains a safe bet, enhanced by the owner's reading of the coffee grounds at the end of the meal which is worth the trip... just for that: a change of scenery guaranteed!
