15/09/2024: This starred restaurant is not up to par. No welcome, the decor in particular the furniture absolutely not suitable, not even a tablecloth etc.... The service is not up to standard at all, bread requested never arrived!!! , my wife was forced to drink water from my glass despite ordering a bottle of still water, our neighbors waited halfway through the meal to get wine and again they had to ask!!! , in short unacceptable for a star. As for the menu it is original and focused around the olive, there are some great creations but the whole meal revolves too much around the olive!!!!! Red card for the main dish around the pork with an incredible mismatch for a starred chef, putting so much wasabi which largely takes over all the other flavors and just not possible, moreover the 2 tables around us were all equally shocked. This restaurant doesn't need much to be up to par, but there are too many mistakes to correct to keep its star. Unfortunately I do not recommend this establishment which for me is not at the expected level for a star.

29/06/2024: Un assortiment à emporter pour le repas du soir certes pas cher Mais hélas le goût et la présentation ne sont pas au RDV. Samboussik avec pâte quelconque trop épaisse et pas cuite avec un fromage indéfinissable à l'intérieur . on retrouve la même pâte pour les fatayers aux épinards fades. C"est dommage .

20/09/2024: I was delighted to discover this very good traditional restaurant. The lamb couscous and the lamb tagine were delicious. The desserts too! The setting is very beautiful (we ate on the terrace) Good value for money I will come back with pleasure! THANKS

15/09/2024: A truly exotic restaurant. The courtyard side terrace allows us to maintain an intimate atmosphere without the hazards of outside traffic. The service is just top notch 👌🏼 very caring and professional. The cuisine is tasty and the ingredients are quality! Mint tea at the end of the meal: what a joy 😌On the other hand: only one downside concerning the toilets which deserve a real refresh and an obvious renovation with a grab handle for people with mobility difficulties as well! Otherwise everything is perfect 👍 Don't hesitate to take a trip to Morocco if you go through Aix: a change of scenery guaranteed but remember to book because it's always full 🌟

15/09/2024: Excellent restaurant to have already eaten there. I would like to come back, however, I've been there 3 or 4 times, it's always closed and no one answers the phone, even though on Google it says open, I find that a shame so, what days does it open...?

18/08/2024: Pour les amoureux des îles , de la bonne gastronomie réunionnaise et antillaise détour obligé dans cette case créole qui ravira vos papilles , tous les parfums des îles y sont concentré avec générosité, pour ceux qui ne peuvent pas aller dans les DOM TOM venez ici vous remémorer les saveurs de la bas autour d'un délicieux planteur maison 😜🤩

15/08/2024: From the entrance it announces the color.... We are made to feel that paying by credit card did not suit them... Network problem then later in the evening no more TPE so only in cash if we wanted something at the bar . In terms of food, I found it expensive for what we ate... A tomato mozza (tasteless mozzarella) A skewer of lemon chicken accompanied by rice... Dry chicken (a sauce would have been welcome.) and a timballe of rice that was too dry as well. (the rice was crispy) dessert a macaroon with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a red fruit coulis.... Also without much flavor. Anyway, fortunately we had a good laugh because the meal will not leave a memorable memory.

10/08/2024: Nous avons pris une planche de charcuteries à partager pour l'apéritif qui était excellente. Bonne charcuterie Corse. Ensuite entrecôte super tendre et en accompagnement poivrons et courgettes légèrement rôtis avec des pommes grenailles. Burger maison pour mon mari, parfait apparemment. Nous avons eu la surprise d'avoir un digestif offert. Toute l'équipe est super agréable.

08/08/2024: Service trop long malgré un restaurant quasi vide. Salade fruits de saison, le seul fruit présent une tomate.Lors du paiement TPE HS donc DAB. Il fallait qu'une personne du groupe reste sur place pour que les autres puissent aller retirer !!! Scandaleux, ils ont un PB avec leur TPE il faut les croire mais ils ont peur que nous partons sans payer.

22/09/2024: Unpleasant staff not smiling not welcoming hot coke served after complaints they explain to me that it comes from a meter in the fridge in short never again I am very disappointed compare to La Ciotat where all the staff are very smiling welcome to the little care never disappointed so aix 1st and last time

03/09/2024: I was expecting something exceptional, really disappointed in terms of cuisine.. I love Asian and Japanese cuisine but here super disappointed, no flavor, Udon served with vacuum-packed chicken in mini pieces I remained doubtful... broth without flavor I had to add soy sauce and chili to “feel” like I was somewhere else.. The young waiter was at the top and took great care despite his loneliness serving everyone alone on the terrace but he ensured, Going to the toilet at the end...disgusting... A good karcher on the terrace wouldn't be a luxury either. I don't understand the positive opinions, to believe that in Aix people only like to eat crappy "stuff"...

23/09/2024: Superb Hotel, very well located (two minutes walk from the city center) Private parking. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The staff is very friendly. The only negative point is the smell of cooking when arriving in the reception hall.

16/08/2024: Interesting menu, very friendly welcome, original cellar setting...but this is a cellar, it's very noisy... And the original menu doesn't taste good...it lacked a lot of flavor...the tuna like the beef had no taste...the saltiness is in the bill.

15/08/2024: Expected more given the stellar reviews and the price point, but the flavours were mostly plain and the portion sizes for the entrée and dessert were a bit too big. If eating as 2, I'd recommend sharing an entrée and dessert. Zucchini fritter - yummy starter, well seasoned House bread - Quite sad, not soft, not textured, little flavour. Felt like grocery store bread Foie gras crème brûlée (entrée) - honestly big enough for two. Flavour was nice, though it got a bit boring after a while. Also served with too few toasts for its size. Dos de cabillaud (plat) - cod was nice and delicate but overall the dish had too simple of a flavour. Also not very visually appealing as everything is just buried in sauce Sphère chocolat lactée, ananas, noix de coco et citron (dessert) - house special dessert that day. Probably my favourite course, lots of interesting complementary flavours. But again, so much food, could've been split between two people (the ball is filled entirely with the citron cream)
