01/02/2026: A wonderful experience in Aix-en-Provence. The decor is warm, elegant, and meticulously designed; you immediately feel at ease. The cuisine is original and creative, with surprising flavors. Special mention for the absolutely divine cocktail—a real gem! I didn't catch the name, but there's a picture. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional. The only slight drawback was that we were a little chilly during the meal. I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

18/05/2026: We discovered this place by chance and absolutely loved it. We ordered everything to share, and the snails and pâté were truly delicious. For our main course, we shared the duck with mashed potatoes—just look at the photos! The food really surprised us. The desserts were a bit more ordinary, but definitely a 10/10.

17/05/2026: This restaurant is very well located on Place des Prêcheurs in Aix-en-Provence. Easily accessible from the historic district, it's perfect for a late dinner, which is very convenient after a show or a movie. We were greeted with a smile. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The restaurant is quite similar to a brasserie, with generous portions and a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed the warm goat cheese and honey tartines (a platter of small plates would have been helpful, but we didn't ask for them), the hake tartare, and the andouillette sausage (though we were less impressed with the pasta gratin). The menu is a bit pricey, but it's all good with the 50% discount from TheFork.

29/06/2026: Excellent and consistent cuisine. As a customer for the past four years, I can attest to the unwavering consistency, both in the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the food itself. Their Stuffed Crab, which should be ordered in advance, is truly outstanding (a nod to the owner). Their Banh Cuon are perfect, the fried dishes are always excellent, in short, it's always a delight. The owner is also fantastic; he attends to his customers' satisfaction in every detail, as does his wife. On three occasions, we ordered for a whole group, and the spring rolls were still being rolled when we arrived, "because that's how they're good," said the boss... 22/05/2026: I know this restaurant very well; every time I go up to Aix-en-Provence, it's a delight. My favorite is the unbeatable beef spring rolls.

10/07/2026: A concise yet delightful menu (sea bass and zucchini blossoms as a starter, lamb and sea bass as a main course – exquisite!…), a very interesting wine selection. And a last-minute team this evening (Eric was exceptionally absent). William told us the history of the restaurant, explained the dishes, and recounted how his wife taught him the art of pastry-making (with verbena-infused peach and chocolate dessert to prove it). Try the bread too – it's homemade! 😉 A truly heartwarming, almost familial experience (to which his daughter and young employee also contributed). In short: the kind of restaurateurs that lovers of good taste absolutely need! Thank you for this wonderful evening…

10/06/2026: I had a really disappointing lunch here. I went to this restaurant as it was the only one in Aix listed on the Michelin guide with vegetarian options. I ordered the 3-course menu. The starter of stuffed zucchini flowers was really nice. However, the main course, which was a mushroom risotto, was extremely boring. There was just hardly any taste or flavor, and I couldn't even finish it. The dessert was probably the worst I've ever had. It was a cherry tart, which was probably just sitting since the previous day. It was not crunchy; it was just soggy and pretty much tasteless. And I think it had so much butter that I was burping butter for the next two hours, not pleasant at all. I think Michelin guides sometimes make a mistake, and this restaurant is one of them.

As for the dessert, a truly homemade treat, it was simply exceptional, as indulgent and successful as the main course. 27/05/2026: Excellent place. The pizzas at Pizza Falchi are very high quality, well-prepared, and delicious. The staff is welcoming and professional, and the service is pleasant. A comfortable waiting area is available for customers, with drinks and desserts also available on-site. The prices are very attractive considering the quality of the food. I highly recommend this pizzeria.

25/07/2026: When placing my order (a bit timid, I know…), I placed my exact change in the wooden tray provided, making a lighthearted comment about the clinking of coins. The baker's immediate and humorless response was: "You must like money." A gratuitous, inappropriate, and frankly aggressive remark that made me very uncomfortable. So much for customer service. Just because you make good bread doesn't give you the right to treat your customers with such contempt and superiority. It's a shame about the place, but the attitude needs to be addressed.

18/06/2026: To follow up on Christophe's comment, I was also passing through Aix and, having just had surgery, needed to use the restroom. I had a drink yesterday, and I've never encountered anything like this before. I wanted to pay, but I only had my bank card. The waiter forced me to withdraw cash because I didn't have any, claiming that any amount under €10 wouldn't be accepted! And that it was the law. Tough luck for him, I studied law! He didn't give up, and I, very angry about this unfair situation where they were clearly pushing customers to spend more, left. He chased me, threatening me and using people around him who didn't understand the situation at all. Seeing that I wasn't going to back down because I was completely within my rights, he finally accepted the €4. I got yelled at, "Dirty Bordeaux girl, go back there!" SHAMEFUL! I was there for a holiday! AVOID this place if you don't have cash. They're right next to the cathedral, what a disgrace!!!!!
