18/12/2024: Very disappointed… long time customer and rarely disappointed… Bland sushi, the rice doesn't seem vinegary, miso soup too diluted and forgetting 6 makis despite a reformulation on my part at the end of the order. Pleasant delivery man, for this evening this is the only good note.

04/12/2024: More than a year ago, my mother went to see the head of the dermatologist department about an exgrowth on her forehead. She reprimanded him, telling him that she was taking up his time and that of the hospital. She didn't even hide it. The session that he had to pay for as a liberal was nevertheless billed to him. Today she just had this exgrowth removed by a “good” private dermatologist. We have just received the analysis results, it is CANCER!!! She will have to have another operation to dig and investigate if additional treatment is needed. My mother is going to be disfigured. This could have been dealt with earlier and with less serious consequences, if this INCOMPETENT head of dermatologist department had done her job instead of dwelling for 20 minutes on working conditions etc and then being paid €55. It's shameful. That day, I accompanied my mother and I also had an appointment with the head of department who behaved in the same way towards me.

17/12/2024: A bar ideally located opposite the Rotonde where I regularly drink my coffee. Always a lot of people but the waiters/waitresses are responsive and it's far from easy, especially on weekends in December when we're just a stone's throw from the Christmas market. Those who offer unpleasant opinions would do well to refrain, especially when their restaurant experiences are limited to watching an almost perfect dinner on TV (hello Dim Dins). Good luck and good luck to all the staff of this establishment.

09/12/2024: Very friendly and well placed for a drink or a coffee close to the square

20/09/2024: My wife, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter spent two in the south of France, one in aix-en-Provence and the second in Saint-Raphael. While in Aix-en-Provence, we stopped for a wonderful lunch at le Brasserie de la Mairie in the central, older part of town. The majority of this restaurant’s seating is outdoor in a cobblestone town square under parasols. It makes for a quintessential Provence setting, quaint, relaxed, with excellent food and wine. This restaurant has a wide-ranging menu of both food and drink, extending from croque monsieur to hamburgers to entrecote maitre d’hotel, from fine French wine to local beer. We started with drinks, including some local beer and two Aperol spritz, which is made from equal parts of Aperol and Prosecco with a splash of club soda. The drink is Italian, having been created in Venice around 1920 according to urban legend. Aperol spritz is a wonderful, summery drink and was perfect for lunch. Our lunch orders included Italian-style steak tartar, two Salade Nicoises and a Salade nordique, the latter being my selection. The steak tartar was excellent and was served with fries and a small greensalad. The Salad Nicoise contained tuna, anchovies, sliced hard-boiled egg, peppers, green beans, small potatoes, olives and a wonderful dressing. My Salade nordique included a very generous portion of smoked salmon, avocado, hard-boiled egg, peppers, potatoes and a Caesar salad dressing. The Salade nordique was excellent with the amount of smoked salmon included was enough for two people. The service at the Brasserie de la Mairie was excellent, the food was served in a reasonable time and the setting, as mentioned was wonderful. This is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner if you’re lucky enough to ever visit this gorgeous area of France.

15/09/2024: We waited 30 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. Despite our calls, the unfriendly waitress obviously had no desire to serve us, having passed by our table several times while ignoring us.

14/12/2024: It was with pleasure that I stopped at this Paul bakery to have a coffee and buy pretzels. In addition to a pleasant and smiling team, the presentation is highlighted and makes you want to buy everything. Above all, not to be confused with rue Espariat, where unfortunately the service and presentation leave something to be desired. Now I know where to go when I want to go to Paul's.

12/12/2024: Extremely unpleasant baker, I entered thinking that it was not yet closed and she “attacked” me without saying hello, telling me “you are doing this on purpose, you can see that I am closed, there is nothing left besides you walk on the floor that I just washed” and even while apologizing, she continued to be unpleasant, it’s shameful to be a business owner when you don’t even know how to say hello to a customer!

22/01/2025: Chef's aioli with inedible prawns (taste of ammonia). Report made to the boss, no apology or commercial gesture. 62 euros anyway. We advise against it.

17/12/2024: Jamais l on ne m as livré ce que j'ai commandé. il faut vérifier à chaque fois et attendre ensuite 15 minutes pour avoir ce que l'on a commandé mais en attendant le reste est devenu froid. Personnel qui se fout complètement des clients. restaurant sale.

30/11/2024: Service déplorable . 30 minutes d’attente à 14h un drame du avec peu de personne devant nous.. j’ai voulu aller chercher nos glaces mais après 10 minutes j’ai abandonné vu que le personnel vous regarde sans vous demander ce que vous voulez … restaurant à fuir! Plus jamais pour nous
