11/12/2024: Good morning My experience of the day and the following: When we entered your store, I had to deal with hostesses who were joking among themselves and who did not know how to answer my questions about the contents of the sandwiches. Once I made my choice, the hostess dropped the sandwiches on the ground in their packaging and immediately charged me for them without asking the question of hygiene and without any embarrassment. It seems to me that before being the ambassadors of taste it would be better to be the ambassador of the good trader. The price of your formulas and the care you put in makes your brand a brand of service and greatly devalued by the behavior of your employees. Too bad you lose a customer. Be careful, hygiene is important in a business where food is prepared. I can't even imagine what's going on behind the scenes when we see this type of behavior in front of customers.

24/08/2025: A website that displays a certain menu… upon arrival, it's pizza and steak tartare accompanied only by a mandatory salad because the kitchens supposedly caught fire… so everything is cold except for the pizza oven. When you reserve in advance, they should think about informing their customers instead of focusing on a business that's unlikely to last…. The Caesar salad came with chicken that was as crispy and dry as croutons; you might as well go to the beach and enjoy a handful of sand…. The pizzas were decent enough but difficult to cut with a canteen-style round-tipped knife. I absolutely do not recommend it, except that the service was adequate, with employees who were working hard.

26/03/2026: We chose this little bistro because it was one of the most affordable in Aix and in a great location. The service was slow, my friend ordered a rare burger and it arrived black, and the bun was also very hard, which was a shame. As for me, I ordered the chicken escalope with linguine, but I asked for fries instead, and in the end I got tagliatelle (completely different). It was a bit dry. Overall, not great, but the terrace setting is fantastic in the sun!

24/03/2026: I was very disappointed by the PAUL bakery in the city center. It's quite surprising to run out of baguettes at 6 pm… for a bakery, that's the bare minimum you'd expect. It seems like their offerings aren't at all suited to their customers or the times they come in. On top of that, the service is rather uninvolved, making the experience even more frustrating. It's a shame, because the bakery used to have a good reputation. These days, it feels like a place that's let itself go.

15/03/2026: I witnessed a truly shocking scene. A family of about ten people, clearly French tourists of North African or Middle Eastern origin, arrived to eat or drink. The place was small, there were many of them, they were laughing together, but remained respectful and simply wanted to share a moment together. As soon as they arrived, the cashier began raising her voice and showing very marked signs of annoyance. Each person placed their order (coffee, pastries, etc.), which inevitably takes a little longer when there are many of you. At one point, someone in the group calmly asked her if something was wrong or if they had done something wrong. When it came time to pay, several members of the group wanted to settle the bill out of courtesy, which seemed to further irritate the cashier. Her attitude then became very demeaning and contemptuous. The tone used, the gestures, the way they were spoken to clearly conveyed a sense of differential treatment and behavior that could be perceived as racist, since they were speaking a different language. A member of the group, who spoke excellent French, intervened very politely, telling her that they had noticed her attitude from the start and that she needed to calm down, even if it meant they would have to leave. The tension escalated. The manager intervened, visibly embarrassed and caught between the customer and the saleswoman (perhaps his daughter, given her behavior), without really addressing the situation. She ended up throwing a pair of clothespins on the floor and leaving the room. A young employee took over, himself shocked, but unwilling to comment. Honestly, a shameful scene for a business like Paul. I can't judge the quality of the products that day, but the customer service and respect were clearly lacking. In a tourist city like Aix-en-Provence, this type of behavior is very concerning. I sincerely hope that the Paul chain will take note of this comment to ensure that its franchises uphold the values ​​of hospitality and consideration expected by customers.

20/02/2026: One star is already too much! Yet another terrible experience of mistreatment and neglect in the emergency room of this hospital. My child arrived with the fire department suffering from severe abdominal pain. The staff in the pediatric ward sent her home with Doliprane, ignoring her suffering, too busy on their personal phones! A few hours later, we went to the emergency room at HPP. What a difference! She received prompt care and a diagnosis that turned out to be very worrying. The incompetence and ignorance of the Aix hospital emergency room could have had very serious consequences if we had trusted them. If you value your children, and your life in general, run away!!!

20/02/2026: ⚠️ Absolutely avoid this place! ⚠️ This hospital is a real public danger. I was taken there by the fire department in the middle of the night, to the pediatric ward. I was sick and in distress. An unpleasant woman told me to hurry up because I was having complications and to get up so she could weigh me. They then left me waiting in an examination room, even though the ward was empty, with a Doliprane (knowing that I couldn't swallow anything and I had told them). I screamed in pain, and they sent me home under the pretext that they couldn't give me an IV. Luckily, I was seen immediately afterward at the HPP (Hospital Public Hospital) because it was a very serious emergency. Their incompetence and indifference could literally cost you your life. The staff is cold, negligent, and incapable of recognizing a critical situation. If you care about your loved ones or yourself, NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS HOSPITAL.

13/12/2025: Since the meats were halal, we couldn't eat some of the dishes on offer. A shame. Indeed, devout Christians cannot eat halal for religious reasons (just as devout Muslims cannot eat non-halal). And there's deli meat on the menu: fine for Christians but not for Muslims. Everything is mixed together. A strange concept. In any case, what we ate wasn't to our liking at all. Friendly staff.

16/01/2026: Responsive service, appealing daily menu, good quality steak (flank steak), well-portioned (neither too much nor too little). Nothing extraordinary, but it's good and the price is reasonable. Downstairs in the vaulted cellar, it has a surprisingly intimate, cellar-like feel. One major drawback: no Wi-Fi. A shame.
