04/07/2025: We came in May when I left I said I was going to write a review as I had enjoyed it but I forgot then I remembered the delicious sea bream ceviche and here I am 2 months later with my 5 stars.

04/07/2025: The tapas are really good and the restaurant is pleasant, hence the 4 stars! However, do not trust the menus in Google photos because they are no longer up to date. This is a tapas bar and not a restaurant with "unique" dishes!

09/07/2025: An incredible story, it starts with a choice of this hotel that I decide to cancel thinking that it was a low-end hotel, I change my mind due to fatigue and say to myself why not? I decide to return to this hotel and I am welcomed by a wonderful woman, Karen, the hotel manager!. A huge thank you to Karen, the manager of the hotel Le Drips, for her exceptional welcome and her professionalism! From the moment you arrive, you feel taken care of with real attention to detail. The hotel is magnificent, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located to enjoy Marseille. Special mention to the whole team for their kindness and availability. A warm atmosphere, impeccable service... what more could you ask for? I recommend it with my eyes closed, and I will come back with great pleasure! I make it my favorite hotel for my stays in Marseille!

18/05/2025: Quite simply, my best hotel experience. Unparalleled cleanliness, impeccable service from both the reception and the staff. The Lagoon adds an extraordinary touch to the already fabulous place. I recommend it without hesitation and will return very soon. Thank you again to the entire team for such a wonderful stay.

01/07/2025: The olive oil square is nice, close to the old port; the tables are spaced apart. The food is very good, with rather average portions. (For example, the bottarga pasta: you'll get 5-6 slices of bottarga.) On the other hand, the service is too commercial. They treat you like an American tourist. "Try my good extra virgin olive oil" #Spanish oil, nothing more, "€10 a bottle," and at the end of the meal, "How many bottles are you buying?" "As for the bill, it's fine, let's keep it simple, round up €442, and you get €450." In short, the food is good, but the attitude is poor, which is a shame and leaves you feeling heavy ;-)

22/06/2025: On this Place aux Huiles, we find many well-known food haunts, but the real gem is here with Mediterranean specialties. Paule is in the kitchen, Kopa is at the service. We are welcomed with grilled toast with black olive tapenade. The menu gives us a taste of the local side, the sea, and a slice of Italy. I'm thinking in particular of the essential half-and-half Marseille pizza that is served to you as you go. One part is with Emmental cheese, the other with anchovies on a tomato sauce base.

01/09/2024: It's very rare for me to leave reviews like this. But I hope it will be constructive and not badly received. The service was friendly, that’s a good point. As for cuisine and dishes (Sunday lunch brunch): Firstly we found the portions very small for the price! I paid €18 for an unseasoned sandwich, fairly dry bread and half a slice of ham inside. And €5.50 for a small cappuccino. We still found that the presentations of the dishes were very aesthetic, this “Instagramable” but at the expense of flavors which is a shame. I was able to taste the avocado toast and the Sicillian sandwich which were both bland.. we seasoned ourselves to have a semblance of taste. It’s a shame given the magnificent potential you have. I am taking the liberty of writing this review not to put you down but on the contrary to kindly warn you of what I felt, because unfortunately I would have difficulty coming back and so would my friends. 11/09/2024: We were 11 people, we were very well looked after, we ordered several dishes, wine and coca cola, it was €32.50 per person

10/09/2024: I was there with my boyfriend, we both ordered moules, one with cream and the orther with cream and cheese. Fantastic dinner for 18€! We were served by 3 different people, especially nice was a woman from Ukraine that spoke amazingly good French and seemed to be perfectly prepared and familiar with all the details about served meals. Additionally we ordered local white wine and the desserts and it was so good! My only complaint would be the price of the dessert, just a bit too high. :)
