05/02/2026: The long-haired waiter who greeted us on January 3rd, 2026 at lunchtime was disrespectful, rude, and nonchalant. He threw the bread on the table, no "enjoy your meal," nothing. Frankly, avoid this place unless the owners are there. The food was okay, although the meat wasn't as good as last time.

04/02/2026: I was with my girlfriend and the set menu was a real disappointment: the sausages were tough, the pasta had no sauce and was completely tasteless. We pointed out the problem… but no compensation was offered. Frankly, unacceptable.

13/11/2025: We ordered tonight and everything was absolutely excellent. The Peking duck I had was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and seasoned to perfection—truly one of the best I've ever had. The fried rice was delicious, and the spring rolls were impeccable, crispy, and flavorful. You can tell everything is made with care and expertise. We often take the time to write when something isn't right… but when something is perfect, we should say so too. And this was perfect from start to finish. Well done to the team, and thank you for this wonderful culinary experience. 🍜🖤

24/02/2026: A lovely little café, perfect for breakfast when you've just arrived in Marseille. The owner is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant, and it's bathed in sunshine in the morning – it's fantastic!

04/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. What a treat! I wanted to share my experience and mention that I'm so glad I ignored the negative reviews, which my friends and I found incredibly harsh. We had a Savoyard fondue that was exceptional, and the all-you-can-eat raclette was simply divine. In addition, my girlfriend ordered a huge and delicious kebab. And the staff were so kind as to offer us a complimentary digestif, which isn't common practice elsewhere. If you're looking for a great restaurant, the raclette is fantastic. We'll be back with the family very soon. Thank you to the team.

03/02/2026: I'm not usually a picky eater, but this was truly unacceptable. The positives: your warm welcome and the cleanliness of the restrooms. The negatives: the fondue was a sort of white wine béchamel sauce; I couldn't taste any cheese, I think there was hardly any... the charcuterie was the lowest quality, and the same went for the wine and dessert. In short, everything was incredibly cheap, and the fondue pot was rusty to boot... It's a real shame because I'm sure you can do better, especially for the price. Frankly, it actually saddened me. I didn't dare tell you because you seem very nice, and I didn't want to offend you. I hesitated to write this review, but future customers should know. Is it possible for you to improve these aspects that are holding you back? I sincerely hope so.

22/11/2025: I often go to the Red Lion and it's always a pleasure. The location is magnificent for admiring a sunset, the atmosphere is fantastic, and you really feel at home there. A sure bet every time!

20/01/2026: I often get a sandwich there, and honestly, I've never been disappointed by the quality. The sandwiches are always good and fresh. The prices are a bit high for some types, but the quality is there, so it's still reasonable.

05/07/2025: Vegetables are very expensive. I bought radishes; they are inedible, very hard and spicy. The plant section is a scandal, all dead and dried out. In the future, I'll go to Leclerc.

25/01/2026: Twice I've ordered a piece of beef, and both times there was a huge piece of gristle! A chef worth their salt would never have served such a cut, and to prove it, I'm also posting a photo from January 13, 2026. Worse still, no compensation whatsoever! Yes, I'm a picky eater; it's normal to find gristle on your plate.

28/12/2025: I visited Bar de la Marine, overlooking the Old Port, and I really enjoyed the historic atmosphere and the lively terrace. The service was warm and attentive, and I enjoyed some delicious snacks while taking in the view 🥂. It's the perfect spot for a sunny aperitif or a drink with friends after a stroll 👌. I'll gladly return to try other dishes 🍷😊.

12/12/2025: I am extremely disappointed and upset after what happened to my mother in this restaurant. She was dining alone when she suddenly fell and broke a rib due to the unsafe floor design. Parts of the floor are uneven, with raised and lowered sections that are difficult to see. A serious hazard for anyone walking normally. What makes this worse is that this kind of accident was completely preventable. A restaurant serving the public should make sure its space is safe and accessible. Instead, the poor flooring caused a painful injury and a very distressing experience for our family. I hope the management takes responsibility and fixes the floor immediately so no one else gets hurt.

12/12/2025: The daily special, linguine with salmon and leek fondue, was what drew us into the restaurant. Their covered terrace is very pleasant, as are the waitress and the owner. And the dish was wonderful; I'm noting the address for a future visit to Marseille.

10/11/2025: A very good experience with servers who, while busy, were efficient. Excellent value for money. Dish of the day at €14. The taste and presentation were not at all sloppy, which was much appreciated.
