26/07/2026: I visited Au Vieux Panier Restaurant-Pizzeria on July 25th at around 8:30 PM, and it was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. My colleague and I were already inside the restaurant, waiting for our pizzas. Before the food arrived, I had an urgent need to use the restroom. I politely asked the pizza chef if I could use it, but instead of receiving a simple explanation or a courteous response, another employee opened the bathroom door, ordered me out, and spoke to me in an extremely rude, aggressive, and disrespectful way. He insisted that I was not allowed to use the restroom before eating. There was absolutely no professionalism, no empathy, and no respect. We were paying customers who were already waiting for our meal, yet we were treated as if we had done something wrong. Because of the humiliating way we were treated, we immediately left and decided not to spend a single euro there. No customer should ever be spoken to or treated like that, especially over something as basic as an urgent need to use the restroom. I will never return and cannot recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of restaurants that understand what hospitality and basic human decency mean. This is not one of them.
