26/06/2026: Beautiful location, but it was just a hot day and there is little ventilation in the old city center.

09/06/2026: The sandwiches were very good; the quality of the ingredients was excellent. However, the service was simply awful. The waitress who served us was incredibly disrespectful: she chewed her gum very rudely, didn't even look at us, and sighed openly while we were ordering. We clearly felt like we were bothering her. If she's going to serve customers in such conditions with such a lack of enthusiasm, she should find another line of work. It's a shame for the bakers who do such good work behind the scenes.

05/07/2026: Worst experience on our Mare a Monti hike, and we didn't have much of a choice... The accommodation is beyond outdated, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired... Sheets not changed, filth, clogged sink and shower, breakfast consisting of stale bread and jam (from previous guests' jars in the fridge). An experience we wish we hadn't had. What a shame, because the owner is very friendly, but such accommodation cannot be offered at the price we paid; it's exorbitant. The value for money is catastrophic... Something must be done to save this gîte, which could be wonderful, and the Mare a Monti trail, which is so beautiful!

17/05/2026: Incompetent and disorganized. Return flight from Figari to Caen, Corsica. Over an hour and fifteen minutes to check our luggage, apparently due to a problem with the conveyor belt and computer, but no announcement was made. In the end, our luggage wasn't loaded onto the plane. No one informed Caen airport. The cabin crew, who should certainly have been aware of the situation, didn't inform us either... the suitcases might arrive in a week, and we'll have to come and collect them in Caen, a four-hour round trip.

16/05/2026: Flight cancelled at the last minute, so far so good, safety first. After a two-hour wait, two seats finally became available. After 10 minutes, we were asked to give up our seats to two supposedly disabled people who only stayed for five minutes. Like many others, I lay down on the stopped baggage carousel. Suddenly, without any warning, the carousels started moving again. I've had back pain ever since, and I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks to the staff at the Corsican Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

19/06/2026: Great place, hearty, generous home-style cooking, very pleasant staff, superb setting, I highly recommend it.

17/06/2026: Avoid this place. They don't mention that the minimum spend is €10, so they push you to spend more. We're at the end of our vacation and don't necessarily have any cash left. The waiter or the owner is completely nonchalant.

12/06/2026: No welcome whatsoever, not even a hello. The service was completely impolite. The drink was okay, just cold bottled water 🤪🤪🤪🤪. We wanted to have lunch, but given the waiter's lack of enthusiasm, we left! And to top off our brief visit, the bill was placed on the table without a single thank you. Saying goodbye must have been an extra charge. I can understand the staff being fed up at the end of the season, but in June?!

05/07/2026: The crepes themselves would be good, but the staff, on the other hand, is inattentive to customers. They can't even speak English.

19/07/2026: Le Bonifacio has one undeniable advantage—its location. Dining along the marina with beautiful yachts in view and the energy of the nearby B52 Club creates a memorable setting, especially as the sun goes down. Unfortunately, the experience beyond the view fell well short of expectations. The service was extremely slow, and several members of the waitstaff came across as rude and inattentive. Considering the premium prices, we expected a much higher level of hospitality. The food itself was average at best. Nothing was poorly prepared, but nothing stood out either, making it difficult to justify the cost. You’re really paying for the waterfront location rather than the overall dining experience. If you’re looking to enjoy the marina atmosphere with luxury yachts as your backdrop, it’s a pleasant place to sit. However, based on our experience, there are better restaurants in Bonifacio offering superior food, friendlier service, and better overall value.

08/06/2026: The all-you-can-eat buffet is very nice. You can even make your own wok dishes. I recommend it.

23/05/2026: We used to eat at this restaurant whenever we were in the Ajaccio region, but this time we were very disappointed. The quality is definitely not what it used to be: very little choice, cold dishes, dry fries, fish that smelled bad, and salmon sushi with a very unpleasant taste. Even the desserts had a questionable smell. The plates weren't very clean either. It's a shame, because it used to be a restaurant we enjoyed.
