19/09/2024: Disclaimer. I never got to do an actual tasting but still would like to share my experience. Got an online reservation for lunch the day before and received confirmation email(as it turned out later it was a waiting list confirmation). Not suspecting anything the three of us arrive at 12 noon. The place looks very nice and upscale and is completely empty, except for a few workers. The man in front, who is meeting us, speaking perfect English, quickly found us in the computer and seemed to be visibly annoyed with us. "Its always a problem with you, foreigners" that you can't understand what's in the email, it clearly says "waiting list" and so on and so forth. We politely inquired that may be we can seat at the bar or anywhere in the corner and just taste a few wines. He said it is absolutely not possible, that he is expecting a large party any minute now and did not suggest any alternatives for us. He clearly wanted us to leave, which we did. we certainly did not appreciate his attitude and were taken aback by pure disregard of our situation even though mistake was ours. Will Not attempt to come back. There many other options out there.

09/09/2024: Disinterested help from the employee. In the end we bought some because we are familiar with the wine. After climbing the hermitage, I am looking for some stories and tests instead of having to ask for help

31/08/2024: We eat very well and the price remains reasonable Ps add more potatoes with the steak otherwise everything is great!

23/08/2024: Nice terrace to quench your thirst during the day and good brasserie. We ate there in the evening, it was good and plentiful. The value for money is correct.

14/07/2024: Avons passez un bon moment en famille Serveuse tres sympa et serviable Dommage qu il n y ai pas de formule le Dimanche, car tafifs assez eleves qd meme pour certains aliments De plus, remettre a jour les tarifs sur la carte et / ou intitules car" Cafe gourmand "sans cafe et facture 1.50€ en plus des 7€50 indique....un peu mesquin de decouvrir cela une fois avoir regle la note Enfin bref, une bonne journee meme, mais n y retournerons pas

05/06/2024: Very nice discovery this lunchtime with my partner, warm place, very welcoming and friendly staff, fast and careful service, very good cuisine a real treat for the taste buds (causse blue ravioli, lemon meringue tart, and a daily menu that my companion who said "it's killer..") Congratulations to this establishment, we will come back.

20/08/2024: Certainement une des meilleures adresses de Valence. Cuisine subtile et pleine de saveurs mariant avec intelligence influences européenne et japonaise. Les menus asiatiques que propose régulièrement le chef sont un délice. Un lieu plaisant où nous venons avec plaisir depuis plusieurs années. Et les travaux de la terrasse de cette année ont rendu plus agréable cet extérieur où le soleil cognait fort! Bémol de ce soir : ne pas faire figurer à la carte l’existence d’un supplément (qui à lui seul augmente le prix du menu de 25%!) ni le signaler lors de la présentation… tout en le faisant néanmoins bien payer au moment de l’addition. Manque de professionnalisme peut-être, d’attention sans doute, d’élégance sûrement. Première déception en 3 ans de fréquentation. Dommage.

20/08/2024: Very good cuisine with well-made dishes. If it’s the bistronomic inclination of the hiding place, I won’t go to the hiding place. Between the dishes sent one after the other, the abandonment of glasses, appetizers and other elements of the meal and the derogatory comments about the other guests (we don't know what was said on us) an experience that we will not repeat. It was praised to us, but we were very disappointed.

12/05/2024: Small charming courtyard, quiet, very pleasant to rest after visiting Grignan and its castle. I had an espresso and two very good scoops of sorbet. A moment of relaxation.

08/04/2024: Very nice boutique, tea room with very pleasant courtyard. Welcome with a smile.

30/09/2024: We bought a pistachio cake for 6 people on a Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. There were 2 cakes left for 4, 2 cakes for 6 and 2 cakes for 8. Happy to find a cake from this renowned pastry chef in Valence at a sure late hour, I would have appreciated being told that this cake was thawed…well just taken out of the freezer because we drove 40 minutes, and ate this cake at 10:30 p.m. and the pistachio mousse was still not defrosted. Fortunately we did not intend to freeze it because everyone knows the consequences of such an act....in the future I would ask for more precision on the manufacturing date.
