22/03/2026: Nice pub and tasty beers, attended a fun performance by a local band on Saturday night, really cool atmosphere... We had a great time!

15/11/2025: Visited recently on 11/14/25 Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades. But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often. I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.

28/12/2025: We ordered calzones; the meat inside was raw, the dough was undercooked, half raw or burnt, we had to open it up and cook it ourselves in a pan

11/11/2025: Bonjour je venu manger samedi et je me apercoi des rats petits qui promene dans le restaurants moi je avait de entraint de manger moi et les perssonnes ont a vu cest pas higienique meme cest pas la cuisine portugaise ont servi de morue avec de pomme de terre sans huile de olive e vinaigre cest etait des perssonnes francais qui mange ne connaissent pas que morue e pomme de terre doivenet voire de huile de olive mais cest avec moustsrd que ont a mouille le morue etc cest pas um restaurant portugais ..je ne viendrais jamais et comme portugais je ne recomemde pour la higiene les rats et surtout dire est un restaurant Portugal que il ny a rien je ne recommend

06/03/2026: Honestly, I was very disappointed to have gone there. They're better at social media and making videos with Instagram artists than at serving like a real bar...

22/02/2026: The owner was laughing with his drunk friends, who were insulting each other and shoving each other, all in good fun. And on top of that, our drinks were stolen from the table. I went to see the owner to tell him he'd seen we hadn't been drinking and that it was simply impossible for us to finish all our drinks in 10 minutes, especially since some glasses were even missing. He decided to offer me two shots, which weren't even worth what was stolen. I asked him who had stolen the four remaining glasses, and he said he didn't know, even though he'd been on the terrace with only two tables occupied and had been laughing with them for hours. I then noticed the glasses were on the counter. We were the only ones who ordered that drink and that color of glass, so I know they took our drinks to do something amongst themselves. So, this guy basically gave our drinks to his friends and then laughed at us, telling us to get lost with two shots. It's a bar for friends. If you're not buddies with the owner's crew, you can forget it. We paid over €80 for this. Go across the street; you'll get a better welcome and it's cheaper.

09/11/2025: Visited the venue during a themed evening. The atmosphere was average, with more people in the patio than in the main room. The decor was nice. Nothing particularly noteworthy to report about the place.

04/11/2025: A festive and very pleasant atmosphere! 🎉 The service is top-notch, always smiling and attentive. The DJ creates a great vibe and the cocktails are excellent 🍹 A perfect place to spend a lovely evening with friends.

02/07/2025: I don't understand how this place has only 3,8 ⭐️. If you have ever been to all you can eat buffet, this place has it all. Efficient service and good choice of food. I loved the choice of desserts. ❤️

16/11/2025: We had a fantastic stay! The bastide is magnificent and very well maintained. The owner is very pleasant and gave us a warm welcome, offering excellent advice on places to visit and how to best enjoy our stay. In fact, she suggested we stay a second night so we could fully enjoy it, and we weren't disappointed. The region is beautiful and there's so much to see, plus the bastide's setting is very peaceful, allowing us to truly relax. We will definitely be back! It's a pleasure to meet such welcoming people.

14/11/2025: Dishonesty personified: the owner tried to force us into a supposedly mandatory second night at €98 without dinner, just breakfast, claiming that the night covered by the Wonderbox wasn't profitable and that it was too much work, especially since she was sick! It's simply a scam; this isn't mentioned in the legal terms of the contract included with the Wonderbox. Bad luck for her, she didn't pick on the right people to swindle.

09/02/2026: Having to call a month in advance to buy 20 croissants is absolutely insane. If you don't call the day before, they refuse to sell you croissants because otherwise it empties the display case. I don't understand, the point is to sell them, isn't it?

07/02/2026: It wasn't the first time, but this time... I've had enough... We ordered fairly quickly, then... nothing. We tried again 10 minutes... 20 minutes... 25 minutes later, we left... You've just lost some customers!

06/02/2026: La Chocolatetie has just been completely renovated. It's superb. The tea room is very bright and airy. And the chocolate selection makes you want to eat everything. We've posted photos online. It's the perfect place for a sweet treat. In winter, we prefer crepes and waffles. In summer, it's ice cream. The staff is very attentive. We had a crepe with a traditional hot chocolate (very rare in Valence). They have a fantastic selection of chocolates to take away. The couple who run this chocolate shop are very friendly and always come to greet you. We highly recommend this establishment located on the Place des Clercs in Valence. A successful renovation.

21/02/2026: We stopped in Valencia; there was a good place to eat near the hotel with secure, gated parking – great for leaving luggage in the vehicle.

08/02/2026: The food is good. The menu is quite varied. The staff is friendly, professional, and responsive. It's a pleasure to come back.
