12/03/2026: Not being from the area, I booked this hotel for a one-night stay with my family. We had an excellent experience from start to finish, from booking to check-out. The person I spoke to on the phone was very attentive to my requests and gave me excellent advice regarding the room reservation. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the entire team. The room was very comfortable, well soundproofed, and perfect for a great night's sleep. From breakfast to dinner, everything was delicious; we ate very well. I would like to emphasize the professionalism, responsiveness, and kindness of the entire team. I highly recommend this establishment!

05/07/2026: We have eaten here 4 times now during our 3 stays at the gîte in Moulin d'Antan, in this village. The food was incredibly delicious. There was also a wonderful vegetarian dish for me. The staff were very friendly and took plenty of time to explain things. A quiet and relaxed atmosphere. It was absolutely perfect for us!!

29/05/2026: If you're looking for a place to receive a rude welcome, poor service, and discover that there's practically nothing left on the menu, you've come to the right place! The waiter seemed to have undergone intensive training in being unpleasant, and the rest of the staff didn't improve matters. You almost wonder if they're deliberately trying to discourage customers… Mission accomplished; we'll never set foot in that place again. Enjoy your meal.

21/02/2026: Excellent experience at Le Chanoine restaurant! The food is simply incredible: flavorful, generous dishes prepared with great skill. You can taste the passion in every plate. A huge plus for the waitress, who is absolutely fantastic: smiling, attentive, and very professional, she makes the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit in Romans-sur-Isère, where you'll definitely want to return again and again. Well done!

24/10/2025: We were passing through and stayed for one night. The dinner was very good. The service was excellent. The room was quite old and dated, but it had everything we needed. The mattress and duvet were good.

10/02/2026: No welcome whatsoever, cold and tasteless. We went as a family to the bakery section for a break, drawn in by the decor. Once inside, it was awkward. We stood there waiting while the saleswoman and another woman in the back looked at us, but nothing. After 5 minutes, we decided to order. The coffee was very bitter and the pastries bland. My son asked for the restroom and clearly disturbed them. It wasn't very polite, especially since a regular customer came in and was greeted with a "hello" and a glance. Don't waste your time there!

15/01/2026: We enjoyed everything. The kindness, friendliness, and professionalism of everyone. My husband had the set menu and I had a pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was packed, which explains it. A very nice place. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

08/06/2026: La Garde-Manger is a French fairytale. High on the mountain in a small village where cars are not allowed, sits a small restaurant where Chef Eric cooks and serves. He makes up one tasty dish after another, garnished with herbs and flowers from the garden. Eric pours delicious wine and makes jokes at the table, while you can hear the next dish mysteriously simmering in the background. We had a wonderful meal and would recommend everyone to visit Eric.

18/05/2026: Arriving unexpectedly in Chaudière during a hiking trip, we contacted Le Garde-Manger on a whim. The owner was kind and accommodating, welcoming us that very evening. What a wonderful discovery! A discreet, cozy place, with an open and inquisitive owner who clearly has a genuine passion for his cooking. He quickly inquired about our tastes and preferences, helping us choose between two wines. The rest of the meal was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Refined, colorful dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. A well-balanced marriage of flavors and textures, with the surprising and delightful addition of edible flowers. From the appetizer to the dessert, including a lamb and vegetable dish, we had a truly excellent time. Don't go there if you're looking for a quick bite or are constantly watching the clock. Put away your smartphone and schedule, sit back, and let the pleasure wash over you. A timeless and extraordinary moment, just for you. We'll gladly return.

The daily special was very good, although we would have preferred savory crepes (listed on the menu but unavailable). The weather didn't allow us to eat on the terrace. It must be lovely in the warmer months. We ate in the back room.

12/02/2026: This afternoon, I was invited by the director of CIC for lunch—and what a pleasant surprise! Everything was flawless from start to finish. Special mention goes to the warm and attentive welcome, where children are treated just as well as adults. As for the food, the burger was perfectly cooked, with impeccable temperature. I enjoyed a flavorful octopus that instantly transported me to Barcelona, ​​while my host savored a tender and delicious pork spider steak. All this in a chic and refined atmosphere, without being over the top, ideal for enjoying the moment. Wine lovers will definitely be in their element—this is a place worth a visit without hesitation. And to finish, the desserts were simple in appearance… but absolutely wonderful. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend!
