The owner needs to rethink his business.
I came a few years ago and was delighted.
I no longer recommend this establishment in its current state.
31/10/2025: Sunny, simple cuisine with a touch of sweetness.
Friendly and accommodating service, enjoying the sun on the terrace in late October... like an extended summer!

15/03/2026: The restaurant was outdated and not clean.
The "all-you-can-eat" buffet was empty, there were no labels to indicate what was available, the desserts were tasteless and warm, and the candies were extremely hard.
14/03/2026: After a certain time, they stop refilling the buffets, but they still continue to accept people. The prices are too high for what you get; we were very disappointed, except for the service, which was excellent.

15/03/2026: We stopped there by chance and have no regrets. The pastry was VERY substantial, enormous even, and the filling EXTREMELY generous; we certainly didn't leave hungry. Good home cooking that reminded us of our grandmothers' pastries, a pleasant welcome, and a lovely view of the water from the small window at the back. The decor is admittedly that of a small, old-fashioned village restaurant, but we were very happy and completely satisfied.

27/02/2026: An excellent restaurant, everything is homemade, from appetizers to desserts, flawless, impeccable service, nothing to complain about.
13/02/2026: It's not good, actually, it's bad. The manager isn't friendly. What's more, she's a real gossip. People in Valaurie are starting to know about her habits, which include talking behind people's backs. The previous managers cooked ten times better and were a hundred times nicer. Avoid this place.

18/03/2026: A truly wonderful evening! We were greeted by a charming lady. The service was excellent: there were plenty of staff to serve us. The dishes were delicious: a special mention for the pan-fried artichokes! All the dishes looked appetizing. A decadent waffle for dessert (and I don't have much of a sweet tooth!!). Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the shallot tatin: it was so popular! Next time I'm in Valence, please save one for me! Thank you for this lovely evening :)

08/03/2026: I hadn't been there for a while, and it's always a pleasure to go back. The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive to customers.
The pizza selection is always extensive, and they're delicious. The ravioli are also excellent. A great place that I highly recommend!

01/03/2026: For over 20 years, we've been having lunch at this inn, where my children grew up. We've seen several owners, each contributing their own touch (all but one...), and the atmosphere remains as warm and authentic as ever. I highly recommend the fire pit and staying here to truly disconnect.
26/02/2026: We received a very warm welcome for afternoon tea, right next to the slopes – a real treat!
The owners make everything from scratch and only cook with local produce. I highly recommend their incredible brownie bowl and their blueberry tart – absolutely delicious!
