Very good caillette
Perfectly cooked vegetable aioli, well-cooked piece of fish, homemade mayonnaise
Very good floating island, never eaten anything like it.
A very reasonable price with a complete and good menu.
I highly recommend this establishment.

15/08/2024: Disappointing experience…. Beef from Japan costs €80 per plate, 80% inedible (only fat), despite the fact that they brought us 4 additional pieces… (after having had it noted). It shows you the level of the restaurant... no presentation of the plate... the accompaniment is extra....
Cocktail: nothing more….
The high price would not be a problem if everything was up to par
More than average service (e.g. “I forgot the potatoes! I’ll go get them)…. We had to ask for the salad which was forgotten…
In short, to be avoided!
FYI: €217 for 2 and 1 child meal

27/10/2024: Yesterday, I spent a wonderful evening at the factory. From 5 p.m. to midnight, I didn’t see the time passing.
The service was excellent and the server took great care of me.
Phone charger included in the service.

And no, I didn't go to the wrong establishment, as is often your answer! Here in Buis people know!
It's been more than 10 years that from time to time I have tried to come again and each time the same observation! No wonder the Buxois are no longer there in number

18/09/2024: Great place. I visited this restaurant in the evening, the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. Very friendly waiters who speak good English and know the menu very well. The flavors of the dishes are refined, the portions are large, I could not finish my meal. They also have wines of their own production, my partner and I tried the Cesars Alix wine, which gives a pleasant noble intoxication. I have great impressions from this evening and I want to express a huge thank you to all the waiters, cooks and the owner of the establishment!
14/09/2024: Dinner for 4 adults in 09/24, very decent starters but disappointed with the dishes.
The ravioli and scallops were very good.
However, the bluefin tuna was nicely seared but lacked cooking inside and arrived cold. His fried vegetables didn't seem very fresh...
Our main problem was with the bouillabaisse, the dish for which we came to this restaurant and which is the most expensive specialty on the menu. The potatoes arrived cold and the fish, also cold, were not cooked enough, we were only able to eat half of the plates...
We had the feeling that the kitchen wanted to kick us out of the restaurant.
The servers were professional and very friendly.
The bill is high given the quality of the dishes served

03/11/2024: We stopped at this establishment, ideally located on the edge of the national highway. Beautiful park and beautiful facade of the castle, friendly and helpful staff, speaking for the most part only in English. Room with obsolete decoration, worn-out old furniture, in all clean with comfortable bedding, gloomy lighting, poorly heated (we were cold) no dressing gown, no slippers.
The catering is not up to the standard of this establishment, to be avoided, the dining rooms are downright cold with gloomy lighting, 60s joinery, insufficient breakfast.
! I understood that this hotel is a 4 star, for us it does not meet these criteria
I do not recommend it and we will not return.

Just to let you know that 2 days after the post was published, I was informed by email of the reimbursement of tickets by Weese...!!🙂
Having failed to contact the Château de Fontager by telephone to notify them, I sent them an email.
Everything is in order and that will not prevent us from returning there because we appreciate this place of tranquility and calm. Thank you C.St for your numerous interventions with the ticketing company🙏.
Looking forward to meeting again.
