25/08/2024: When a 104-year-old lady tells you she wants to go to a restaurant, and if it's your mother, you make a reservation... In this case, in the nearest restaurant... And there! Very very nice surprise! Jarapea, Irouleguy! I recommend ++++ ) the cook learned his lessons with the biggest before opening his table (22 seats maximum, just 1 menu at €35 and no menu,) A wonderful address!!!

02/09/2024: Tout était parfait, de l'accueil au service. Belle carte, les plats sont excellents. Assaisonnements et cuissons justes. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Je recommande !!

24/08/2024: Accueil souriant, chaleureux et décontracté (Joanna a été élue à l’unanimité « serveuse la plus sympathique de l’année »). Plats excellents et réalisés à la perfection, le vin était également très bon, le dressage soigné. Jolie décoration, salle climatisée (ni trop, ni trop peu). Parfait parfait !

24/09/2024: We were a group of 6 for a bachelorette party and how can I say that it's just the ideal place! Top service with Juliette (whom we thank for her smile and her pep), the team is adorable, the atmosphere is truly incredible! We were a little afraid at the beginning of not having enough tapas but in the end we couldn't even finish it all! In short, we recommend this place ++++

24/09/2024: We came to celebrate a friend's bachelorette party. We had a great time. The atmosphere was superb. Tapas at the top. The staff as well. Thank you to everyone and especially to Juliette who took care of our table.

07/12/2024: Patrice begrüßt einen, wie einen Freund, obwohl wir das erste Mal dort waren. Bevor er uns die Speisekarte erklärte, durften wir in der Küche direkt aussuchen. Er spricht aber auch gut englisch, keine Sorge. Die Speisen warm frisch, heiß, gut und schnell am Tisch. Insgesamt ein sensationeller Abend, wenn wir wieder in Paris sind, werden wir wiederkommen! 24/10/2024: Voici un restaurant où vous ne ferez pas que déguster des tapas soigneusement préparés avec des produits frais , goûteux et de qualité.C est aussi une invitation au voyage dans les traditions basques tout en étant mis à l aise comme à la maison par Patrice! Laissez vous emmener, conseiller! (réservations vivement recommandées même si Patrice fait le maximum pour accueillir des petits nouveaux comme nous! Venez tôt!) Nous avons appris à déguster un cidre basque dans les règles de l art. Nous nous sommes régalés de ses tapas faits maison savoureux : poulet mariné , boeuf basquaise , patates à la sauce aux poivrons maison, chipirons, piment de padron , jambon ibérique!accompagne d un Valdepenas réserve 2014 ( doux soyeux ….) La crème brûlée ( a la fleur d oranger)et le gâteau basque ( craquant et fin à la cerise noire)ont terminé de régaler mon mari et ma fille. C est sur nous reviendrons!pour goûter les autres tapas faits maison.

07/07/2025: I know this authentic bistro seems very busy at the end of the day. Through an acquaintance, I had made a reservation. So the only problem, probably due to the lack of space in the bar and dining room, is the noise from the bar's patrons echoing into the table-service dining area, especially when people are leaning against the bar in part of the small corridor leading to the restaurant. It's a shame there isn't a wine list, but probably because of the large number of bottles you can consume with your eyes. But a lovely evening.

10/01/2025: Choisir la terrasse pour la vue sur la Rhune, le fort et le port; Eviter la haute saison, moyennant quoi l'endroit est cool, l'accueil rapide et sympa et les menus très raisonnables à 26 euros; un bon moment passé au soleil d'hiver

14/09/2024: Discovery yesterday afternoon after a work meeting. Lunch on the terrace facing the Garonne. Friendly and very responsive service, for a top daily menu!

24/09/2024: I had planned my birthday last night at 153, the cocktails were super good, the music and the atmosphere too. The cocktail menu is renewed every week for even more varieties, I really recommend!!

03/09/2024: Habitación para dos adultos y dos niños muy confortable, comida típica muy buena y gran atención. En el menú acertaréis con la trucha, más sabrosa la que se sirve completa con mantequilla que la de salsa vasca. Jamón típico de la zona excelente, aunque se me hizo raro que lo adornarán con una guindilla.

We came to take possession of the keys thinking of going for a walk afterwards...but the kindness of the welcome and the beauty, good taste and comfort of the accommodation led us to stay to fully enjoy the place.
