The staff is lovely, very friendly, and has a great sense of humor, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The welcome is warm and you immediately feel at ease. The decor is also very nice and contributes to the friendly atmosphere. We had a fantastic time as a family and we will definitely be back! 😊

16/03/2026: The ambiance, setting, service, and waitresses' availability were very good. My experience with the food was mixed this time, especially since for a restaurant of this type, the prices are acceptable if the customer's expectations are met... and this time, mine weren't. First, the starter of beef and foie gras... the dish contained very fatty pieces, and the foie gras flavor was completely absent. The main course was beef again, this time ribeye steak from Argentina... The flavor was there, but there was also an excessive amount of fat, which is unacceptable for such high-quality meat; at €35 a plate, one doesn't expect to have to leave a good quarter of it on the plate. I would have appreciated better guidance in choosing a white wine (only Spanish wines were available). To end on a positive note, my partner and I did not disappoint with our choice of squid ink paella. The portions were generous, making it difficult to finish everything, even dessert. Also, a thoughtful touch and my thanks for the candle on the homemade madeleines served with the coffee. In conclusion, I remain surprised by my previous visits. I felt that some of the starters and main courses weren't priced correctly because the quality one would expect wasn't there. As for the wines, in all the fine dining restaurants, and even those of a slightly less refined nature, the prices are exorbitant and completely unjustified.

28/02/2026: A lovely discovery, by chance, during a trip to Strasbourg. Great atmosphere with 80s/90s remixes, and excellent tapas, everything for a great evening, even on a weekday, a Thursday for me.

26/02/2026: Excellent rediscovery! We knew the bar from our youth where we used to go dancing, but not the tapas side! The tapas were very good, and the owner was fantastic. We'll be back for the tapas and the themed evenings!

16/03/2026: Carine was so sweet, and I loved the service I received! I dined solo, and she took good care of me. I had the Pulpo and the pork belly! Both were perfect; honestly, the Pulpo was as good as the one I've had in Barcelona!!! The pork belly melted in my mouth. This was one of my favorite and many meals in Paris.

19/02/2026: We were a table of six this evening, and the owner offered us a selection of various tapas, each one as delicious as the last. We appreciated this gesture and had a wonderful evening. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Everything was perfect. Thank you to La Mesa.
