14/04/2026: Superb restaurant in Tarbes! If you stumble upon it by chance, you'll return with pleasure. The dishes are excellent, with plenty of choice, all à la carte, at very reasonable prices. You can create a meal for a small fee, or a little more depending on your choices! A large terrace welcomes those who want to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, and there's a lovely dining room inside. I would describe this place as bistronomic, as there are dishes that would be right at home in a fine dining restaurant. There's a daily special starting at €12.90, and starters from the menu starting at €2.50. Fabulous desserts include tarte tatin (€4.90), homemade chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, and more. A special mention goes to the delicious confit lamb shank on a bed of crushed potatoes that we enjoyed for Easter; we hope they add it to their menu soon! The baby squid in their garlic sauce are a real treat! I also love their sweet potato fries—crispy and surprisingly not greasy at all! The excellent chef is quite the character! The waitresses and waiters are attentive and always smiling! It's a joy to come here, and keep coming back! I highly recommend this place.

05/05/2026: A truly wonderful place. The storefront is unassuming, but... it's a feast for the eyes! The welcome was perfect, the waiter was friendly and attentive. We only had an hour for dinner, and they kept to the schedule. The food is authentic, made on-site, full of flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The setting is elegant. The prices are reasonable, reflecting the quality of the experience. Well done to the team!

09/05/2026: After leaving the concert at the Nîmes Arena, we wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading back to Toulon. It was quite late, and we were lucky enough to stumble upon this tapas bar. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was smiling, friendly, and very hospitable. Her children were also helping out with the service, which was both kind and efficient, creating a lovely, authentic, and family-friendly atmosphere. Despite the late hour, we were greeted with care and good humor. The dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with attention to detail. The convivial atmosphere was the perfect end to our evening after the concert. Thank you again for the warm welcome and the wonderful time we had; we'll gladly come back! 😊 Caro

28/02/2026: A lovely discovery, by chance, during a trip to Strasbourg. Great atmosphere with 80s/90s remixes, and excellent tapas, everything for a great evening, even on a weekday, a Thursday for me.

26/02/2026: Excellent rediscovery! We knew the bar from our youth where we used to go dancing, but not the tapas side! The tapas were very good, and the owner was fantastic. We'll be back for the tapas and the themed evenings!

22/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Po’Pote restaurant! We went as a family and everyone loved it. The dishes were truly delicious, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff is lovely, very friendly, and has a great sense of humor, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The welcome is warm and you immediately feel at ease. The decor is also very nice and contributes to the friendly atmosphere. We had a fantastic time as a family and we will definitely be back! 😊

16/03/2026: Carine was so sweet, and I loved the service I received! I dined solo, and she took good care of me. I had the Pulpo and the pork belly! Both were perfect; honestly, the Pulpo was as good as the one I've had in Barcelona!!! The pork belly melted in my mouth. This was one of my favorite and many meals in Paris.

07/05/2026: The ground beef was of poor quality, far too overcooked, dry, and so thin you practically needed a magnifying glass to find it between two slices of bread! The fries were soggy and overcooked; some were even brown. The pickles had a very questionable taste. The tiramisu was inedible: several of us tried it, and the verdict was unanimous… a culinary experience we could have done without. The Nutella cookie was burnt on the bottom and, after a few bites, inedible due to its excessive saltiness. A surprising combination of flavors, but not in a good way. In short, a memorable experience… unfortunately, not for the right reasons.

30/04/2026: While in Paris with my wife and child, we received a very warm welcome at this establishment. The owner even lent my 6-year-old daughter some toys during the (short) wait. The welcome was friendly, the dinner excellent (as evidenced by the speed at which our plates were devoured, much to the waiter's delight), and all for a very reasonable price! I highly recommend it! Thank you again for this wonderful experience!
