17/09/2025: Nice bar but the large Jupiler I was served was off, very cloudy. But friendly staff and a nice bar otherwise. Just a one off.
24/08/2025: The service at El Teatro was exceptionally friendly and the food was exquisitely balanced—a true delight. Dining outdoors is especially pleasant, although the hustle and bustle of passersby can sometimes disturb the tranquility.

The welcome was excellent.
I ate a confit duck leg with vegetables, followed by a tiramisu with banana and crumble (to die for)

Since the change of ownership, the Swiss bar in Algiers is a mere shadow of its former self… gone is the legendary mint tea, gone are the charcuterie and cheese platters…
It's become just another bar; the unique features that made it special have vanished!

Access to the parking lot is poor and slow.
31/01/2026: The parking lot pay stations. Too few and, above all, too slow. In the 21st century, you should be able to pay in 3 seconds; here, it takes 3 minutes. Everyone is complaining.

It's a bit of a shame they charged me for a glass of wine that wasn't even served.
Otherwise, it was very good.
