04/07/2025: A pleasant terrace with local produce, but ultimately, tapas-style, overpriced. 22 euros for a miniature bao. The service was slow despite being there for four tables. And the waiter wasn't very friendly. It's a shame, because the setting, away from the crowds, is pleasant.

29/06/2026: A warm and friendly welcome from a team of equally friendly women. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The south-facing terrace can be shaded, making it a perfect spot for sunbathers or those seeking a bit of respite from the heat. The nearby shops, such as the bakery next door and the Intermarché supermarket, make it a natural meeting place for regulars and newcomers alike, all seeking a friendly atmosphere. The numerous activities and events offered each month further solidify its place among the city's cooperative businesses and cultural hubs. One minor complaint: they don't have melon syrup...

25/05/2026: We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. We greatly appreciated the kindness of Soso and his wife. We were delighted because everything was perfect. The table was beautifully set, the aperitif was very convivial with excellent tapas. The meal was delicious and very generous, and the cake was superb... all this at a relaxed pace, allowing us to savor every moment. Thank you, Soso, for your warmth, your guitar, and your kindness.

27/02/2026: An unpretentious restaurant, perfect for meeting up with friends (which is exactly what we did), in a rugby-loving atmosphere and enjoying simple, hearty meals like grandma used to make. We shared a convivial experience at very reasonable prices (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee: €18.10), welcomed and served by a Biarritz rugby legend. Humor and simplicity reigned. No frills, the focus is on the food and the friendly banter. The atmosphere was filled with stories and wonderful moments from the Biarritz Olympique's glory days, and the spirit of two other pillars of the club—Serge Betsen and Serge Blanco—was palpable. The owner is a gem; we laughed, sang, and danced to his old-school playlist of our favorite tunes... in short, thank you again, Jacques, for this wonderful discovery and encounter. Aline

12/06/2026: Amazing experience, the hotel allowed me to drop off my bag pre check-in, which allowed me to explore the beautiful city of Bayonne. The receptionist Claire was extremely welcoming and accomodating.

22/03/2026: The service was excellent; we were greeted with smiles, kindness, and professionalism. However, the price was disappointing: a bottle of wine and three tapas cost €80, including a belote platter at €25. We usually order belote every time, but it wasn't the best; it was just a tasty shredded belote. The price therefore seemed exorbitant. The other two tapas were good.
