30/07/2024: Perfect, very pleasant service, very good atmosphere

20/07/2024: After a meal in a nearby restaurant where we consumed Sadi Malot blanc de blanc with 2 couples of friends, we wanted to continue at the Le Clos bar. The choice fell on Joseph Perrier blanc de blanc. We were disappointed by a green wine that was not pleasant in the mouth. We brought it to the attention of the staff at the bar.... But for them the champagne was good... Price of the bottle €69 which we emptied into the bucket. Too bad that for a pleasant setting the staff at the bar leaves something to be desired.

08/10/2025: Always a pleasure to eat typical Hispanic dishes centered on charcuterie! The meats are quality and well presented! After 3 visits, I never get tired of it! Limited seating so don't hesitate to come early.

21/08/2025: if you buy a cone of jamon you are not allowed to sit at their bar. they really know how to do business and be hospitable. also, in the home country of the jamon iberico, you can get a cone twice as big in size for only €3 instead of €5

28/01/2026: A friendly place to grab a decent bite when you're feeling peckish. The buffet is regularly replenished. Friendly staff. Clean place. I recommend it 😊👍🏻

16/01/2026: If you're a vegetarian like me, it's pretty good: for 8 euros or even less, you get a wide selection of well-prepared vegetables, all you can eat. It's practically the only place where you can eat properly in the Three Sister Cities (as a vegetarian). ...Of course, in this self-service restaurant, you'll be surrounded by big meat eaters. To each their own.

28/12/2025: I bought two Yule log cakes and was very disappointed. The cracked biscuit was very hard, like concrete, and very sweet. I was extremely disappointed.

29/01/2026: Fantastic. It's a traditional place, the food is very good, well-prepared, and homemade. The customers and the service were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone who likes traditional bars.

21/11/2025: You're in Paris, where getting good beer is a real challenge, and here you find Estrella Galicia heaven and the worst patatas bravas I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent.

28/10/2025: What a pleasure to rediscover authentic dishes! Apart from the potatoes with aioli, which were a bit light on garlic flavor (certainly to avoid giving curious diners bad breath), everything was absolutely magnificent. I wish I'd been hungrier to try even more of the menu. It's instantly become one of my favorite places; you go there for the culinary art of Galicia and nothing else. Long live this place!

04/09/2025: Quite a varied menu. The food is good and the portions are generous, so I couldn't finish it. The servers are pleasant and the bill is really reasonable. I recommend it.

04/10/2025: The coffee tasted very good, the tea was rather average. Our drinks were served in very dirty dishes. The service was average.

09/11/2024: Nice and cozy restaurant in Ascain. We went for dinner based on the good reviews and it was a success. Of course, thank goodness that one of the waitresses was able to translate the menu into Spanish for us because otherwise it would have been difficult to know what to choose. The food is home-made, of good quality and well prepared. We ordered the Basque chicken with a side of potatoes and salad, a hamburger, also with a side of potatoes and salad, and for dessert, 3 portions of Basque tarts filled with different fruit jams. Everything was excellent, we loved it. 100x100 recommended.
