20/09/2026: Passing through in June, I was pleasantly surprised; everything was good, the young and friendly team, I highly recommend it. The cassoulet was excellent 🤩 One small drawback: we came during a heatwave and there was no air conditioning, which was a shame as the only fans were blowing towards the bar.

27/08/2026: We arrived at the end of service (the restaurant was empty and the kitchen was wrapping up), yet we were warmly welcomed with a smile (which is rare when you arrive so late). The terrace is lovely; you wouldn't think you were in the heart of Lyon. The food was equally impressive: generous portions, delicious pizza (I tried the Lyonnaise), and the cook was quick. In short, a truly excellent restaurant; we will definitely be back.

02/06/2026: Huge disappointment: good food, but appalling service Frankly, despite the quality of the food, the service is disastrous and completely unprofessional. I went there three times. The first time, I chalked it up to the rush. By the third time, I swore I'd never set foot in there again. Not even a smile from the person taking my order. I told her I wanted something light and quick. Her response: "Choose for yourself, I can't offer you anything." I asked, "Do I have to leave then?" She replied, "No, I'm just telling you that even the simplest thing takes at least 15 minutes." I asked what the quickest option on the menu was, and she snapped, "Nothing is quick." I tried the children's menu: "We don't serve children's menus to adults, we're a restaurant, not a snack bar!" Finally, I suggested a Caesar salad, and she agreed. I blurted out, "Well, that's exactly what I wanted you to suggest!" Her tone was incredibly curt, with absolutely no sense of hospitality. The last two times, she made it perfectly clear that I should move on and look elsewhere. Avoid her at all costs!

15/08/2026: Great atmosphere, Quentin the manager is ADORABLE, a real sweetheart! I had a great time and he even played some songs I requested because I felt like singing (thank you!). Honestly, I had a wonderful evening, it really cheered me up! P.S.: They have karaoke on Sundays 🥰

The owner is a gem; we laughed, sang, and danced to his old-school playlist of our favorite tunes... in short, thank you again, Jacques, for this wonderful discovery and encounter. Aline

06/09/2026: We discovered this cider house quite by chance and we weren't disappointed. Everything is great: the staff, the welcome, the food, but there's a guy who often shouts "choche" and it kind of ruins the atmosphere (just kidding). Actually, no, the atmosphere is genuine. I recommend it.

05/09/2026: Very bad experience. We ordered three set menus with three rib steaks each, but we only received one. In addition, we received a small ramekin of fries and salad for three adults. When we asked where the others were, they seemed surprised by our request. Unfortunately, the menu never mentioned "sharing" or "a few slices" of rib steak. We had come a while ago and had a great experience, but we will definitely not be returning.

25/08/2026: The best Basque cake (cream for me, I can't speak for the others). The best pastries. The best ice cream (special mention for the pistachio and vanilla). A delight, a joy, an absolute must!

24/08/2026: For me, the best cakes in the Basque Country are at Pariès!! And their Kanougas (caramels) are to die for!!

27/09/2026: The terrace is very pleasant, with comfortable armchairs. The drinks and tapas menu is rather limited, but still enjoyable. The staff is friendly. However, we were very disappointed with the food. The ingredients seemed completely uninteresting (ham, bread, accras, etc.), as did the preparation. We'll try it again for the ambiance and the staff, but only once if the food is the same.

20/09/2026: We received ridiculously overpriced focaccia that were definitely not freshly made, but rather microwaved (still cold around the edges). Apparently, the oven is too small for two focaccias, because we had to wait ages for the second one. A rip-off!

05/09/2026: Absolutely unfriendly to children; we had to pay €4 twice for our children's plates (ages 2 and 4) even though they were eating with us. We never experienced anything like this during our two-week holiday in Corsica and were surprised by this attitude. The quality of the food was okay, hence the two stars.

14/09/2026: Fast and friendly service. A must-visit in Uzès because it's ideally located; therefore, eating here in the middle of the market is an experience to be had, even if only once, if you are discovering Uzès and its exceptional market.

30/08/2026: A truly delightful place, attentive service, and delicious platters made with quality ingredients. A special mention for the servers' accommodating nature; I had a wonderful time and would gladly return. I highly recommend this enchanting setting for spending quality time with family or friends.
