07/02/2026: We wanted to treat ourselves and bought a Basque cherry cake (serves 6), and what a disappointment!
The cake was dry (probably not fresh), and above all, far, far too sweet, to the point that we won't be able to finish it.
Really very disappointed, what a shame.
03/02/2026: An individual Basque cake that was several days old: the pastry had separated from the cream, leaving only a dry layer of cream. I threw it away. The vendor, barely polite, told me that yes, cakes can be made the day before. But a Basque cake doesn't look anything like it did the day before, or even two days before. Luckily, there are other places besides Paries, whose reputation has really taken a nosedive.

28/03/2026: Supposedly a gourmet latte macchiato... After two complaints. Supposedly it was good... Plus the glass was dirty... I do not recommend this Flunch.
22/03/2026: Mixed feelings. Prices have gone up significantly, while the selection has shrunk. There are fewer vegetable options. Aside from fries and dauphine potatoes in generous quantities, the vegetable dishes are rather limited. Tonight, apart from flageolets, lentils, and ratatouille, there were no green vegetables.
In short, eating at Flunch ends up being more expensive than going to the competitor across the street.

21/11/2025: You're in Paris, where getting good beer is a real challenge, and here you find Estrella Galicia heaven and the worst patatas bravas I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent.
28/10/2025: What a pleasure to rediscover authentic dishes! Apart from the potatoes with aioli, which were a bit light on garlic flavor (certainly to avoid giving curious diners bad breath), everything was absolutely magnificent. I wish I'd been hungrier to try even more of the menu. It's instantly become one of my favorite places; you go there for the culinary art of Galicia and nothing else. Long live this place!

24/12/2025: We had a fantastic meal, great atmosphere, amazing decor, very welcoming and pleasant staff.
06/12/2025: A huge disappointment during a business lunch in the evening. The courses were served 20 minutes apart… and therefore cold. When we asked why, the rather unfriendly waitress told us it was our fault for lingering too long at the bar… completely irrelevant! So, in conclusion, I think the food is only good when it's hot, and as for the waitress… she's clearly not cut out for the restaurant business. The bread and water carafe were brought at the end of the meal. In short.

29/03/2026: The meal was less than satisfactory; the meat was of very poor quality, the fries were cold and tasted like cardboard, the servers were unpleasant, and the music volume increased uncomfortably.
I did not enjoy it.

10/12/2025: Highly recommended hotel for the quality. The rooms had nice touches. We slept very well; the mattress, despite being springs, was comfortable. The heating was very weak; we had to keep using a very basic radiator, which needs improvement. The cleanliness was adequate but could be better. Breakfast was the same every day for our 4 days and 3 nights; it could be improved, perhaps by adding a microwave to heat the pancakes. The service was attentive.
30/11/2025: Spent last night here in my way to Bilbao. The place is relatively good in all aspects particularly the reception and breakfast staff. The WiFi service was down and nobody attended to it nor did we receive any apologies for this unfortunately. There was an important issue I needed to attend to but I couldn’t because of the issue.
