06/03/2026: A long wait when there was no one there, and €8 for a lunch that wasn't even cooked is ridiculous. I should have asked for a refund; it was inedible.

03/02/2026: There were some positive points, but also some negative ones: The meat was good, but the presentation of the dishes lacked flair. The welcome was cold. But the most annoying thing is the restaurant entrance, with empty flowerpots used as ashtrays, plastic paving stones for the walkway leading to the entrance, and worst of all, the open garbage cans, as shown in the attached photos. In short, it's a shame for the only French restaurant in the city center. Visited in March 2025.

26/01/2026: Appalling welcome. No greeting upon arrival, a cold and disrespectful attitude. They refused to serve us at 12:30 pm, claiming there was no room, even though several tables were clearly free. We were a family (two adults, a grandmother, and two children) and were treated with a complete lack of consideration. A very unpleasant experience that makes us absolutely not want to return.

13/01/2026: Absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, delicious starter, main course, and perfect wine. The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming. Without hesitation, the paella and couscous are a must-try – perfect! The terrace is very popular in the summer, and the new interior seating is comfortable.

17/09/2025: Good soft pizzas! Great value for money, super friendly restaurateur! He even gave us a free box of luxurious chocolates one summer night in addition to our two pizzas! There were a dozen chocolates wrapped in gold foil! A VLB classic for years since they set up shop on Gabriel Péri!

14/03/2026: The pizzas have become mediocre. The dough is of average quality, lacking any crispness. The quality of the ingredients is just okay: supermarket black olives, tomato sauce that tastes like it came in a jar of industrial-style Panzani. The only remaining positive point is that the pizza as a whole isn't too greasy. It doesn't ooze oil. The pizzas were significantly better not so long ago. What a shame.

12/03/2026: Takeaway pizzas are the same price as pizzas eaten in. It's a shame they don't pass on the reduced VAT rate to takeaway customers... Appetizers are €10, desserts are €10, and pizzas (not basic) are no less than €15. The description of the contents of the plate is misleading (e.g., the dish of the day is tagliatelle with scallops. When the dish arrives, there are five scallops fighting each other. It's nothing like scallops). The wine list isn't up-to-date; some of the wines listed are unavailable, and you're served something else. It's a shame; things haven't been going in the right direction for the past year or two.
